I actually agree with slysly. The meta on Dramonic does make it likely that he would choose a third party route. So the wagon is justifiable- but it's still speculation... he could not have gone third party. I don't see where slysly said he wasn't cultist- there's just no evidence to substantiate that.elvis_knits wrote:I think the point is that dram either rolled cult -or- he rolled investigator who will choose to become a murderer. Why are you not thinking about the scenario where dramonic rolled cultist?slysly wrote:I think the dramonic wagon, though understandable, is a bit premature. No one is a murderer yet, but there are scum already. We should be trying to lynch scum, not a later potential 3rd party.

Hrm, still trying to grasp the back and forth on the merits (or lack thereof) of claiming noise/wards. Seeing as how most people have already claimed and how apparently claiming last game led to a town win- I heard no noises and I warded nobody.

Your post summarised is that:
Play townie very scummy
You scum hunt very badly
You chose an action with no benefit
and now you've handicapped yourself even further with an insanity
And you want us to keep you alive til day 4 so you can contribute
That's how I take your post as well, animor. And I'm supposed to take you word that all insanities you garner from here on out are due to harmless and wasteful night actions?
Vote: animorpherv1
And nobody's really claiming alignment, just if they heard noise and/or warded somebody.W--L--A as town

This is some of the most bizarre logic I have ever faced. How does wasting a night action, and losing the value of your vote, help town? Conventionally or otherwise? It seems your inability to help town is a self fulfilling prophecy.animorpherv1 wrote:
I never actually thought about Searching. I think that we can now be certain of his honesty. He's lied already, who's to say he's not lying again now?semioldguy wrote:@Chaco (and animorpherz1 too I guess)
That explanation makes a lot more sense than laundering (but only because any explanation would make more sense than laundering). If he did stalk, then he MUST be town currently. I am still not certain of his honesty now though.
Despite him now claiming that he in fact did #3, I still believe this to be #1. Either way, it's lynch worthy.semioldguy wrote:@iLord
Of the options I see, I'd put them in the following order of likeliness from most to least:
(1) Cult lying to explain a future insanity gain.
(2) Town that made a horrible Night Zero decision.
(3) Stalked night one in hopes of going Murderer.
Are you trying to say that they set this up together? Seems like a bit of a reach.Iecerint wrote:Cue obligatory "That was awfully convenient..." @ Ani/Sajin. O_OW--L--A as town

So if Adel isn't killed then what does that prove? What does it prove if he is killed?semioldguy wrote:
I'm for currently looking elsewhere. I am against making a solid statement of what to do with Animorpherv1 if Adel is or is not successfully/unsuccessfully murdered. The bridge will be crossed when we come to it. Deciding those things now or in advance is speculative and not beneficial to town.Chaco wrote: So, if Adel gets killed, kill Ani? I don't understand not making a solid statement about somebody who has lied and who's every move, current and planned, has been anti-town.W--L--A as town

Excellent. Go out for a meal, some drinks, and a movie and what do you get? Seven pages of action. I haven't read anything since I last posted, but I did glance that there's a break possibility. Adel apparently proposed it. Once I read up on it I suppose I'll comment. But I'm sure no less than 200 posts will happen in that time.
400 posts in a single day? What's the record?W--L--A as town

Quick thing though, as I'm curious.
Magua,
Do you think cult can ward? How might that affect stalks??
How about resurrections? What might that have to do with kills?
Speaking of stopping kills, might ritual have some effect in that respect also?
I'd really like to know how you feel about insanities, the value of searching for them, and how cult could garner them.W--L--A as town

Eh, you're half right. I'm not useless, I just have a life and almost 900 posts in three days is tough to keep up with. I didn't say I was useless. If I really thought that, then I would replace out. I do have some courtesy.Phate wrote:@startransmission:
You just acknowledged that you were completely useless and knew it; then stated that you have no plans to replace out.
My questions weren't at all random btw.

I don't recall being poked, flinching, or being defensive. I have made a bunch of "I will catch up" posts. What can I say, I've never been in a game like this before. In less than a week there are more posts in this game than most full games I play in that take a month or so.Sajin wrote:Hey Startransmission made a bunch of defensive posts and "I will catch up" posts!
@Star- Who do you think is scum?
I'm looking at DGB, Phate, and Iecerint. Phate's buddying of Magua was a little much, DGB making it sound like I was somehow out of control and scummy, and Iece for going along with what I consider a pretty weak argument against me from DGB.
Nothing solid, but they are certainly my focus.W--L--A as town
