ask if I should be replaced. I was told it was unnecessary, so I just assumed I was wrong and played normally, which led me to the same conclusion as before.
Oh, well that is different then.
But only JUST.
ITS BETTER TO ASK FORGIVENESS THAN TO SEEK PERMISSION.
You knew it was wrong, you should have moral policed yourself instead of ASKing about it.
I agree that a replacement wouldn't happen in such a big thread. (AGAIN. Silly RECK)
But a modkill being the only option, you should have gracefully bowed out.
If there is EVER an outside source to contaminate an ongoing game in any way among those involved in the game, the ONLY LEGITIMATE OPTION should be a replace/modkill.
Its even happened to me once, which is the only game I've replaced out of.
And it wasn't even a major thing, or even ABOUT the game.
But my logic worked around that.
What happened was me and Brandi trying to play in a game together to see how it worked out.
At some point, in a completely different area, Brandi had stated to someone else how many times she was scum.
The number was the same number that I knew of, ergo, she wasn't scum in that game.
At that point, I pretty much knew she wasn't scum anyways cause I can read her like a book, by at that point I worked out that I KNEW she wasn't scum.
I was town as well, but would have done the same as scum. (Because if I didn't then that would be telling as well...already knowing who townies were.)
Although in the end the game got abandoned anyways due to the mechanics draining motivation.
