i cant bring myself to force the misspellings but i do need fate to explain more better on vi because
this is serious business and you know why
God, I'm sorry I can't do it no capital letters hurts my eyes. You both were co-mods in Pledge of Allegiance so I think SpyreX would know that a decent number of people would probably pick Orange as their first pick so why would he pick a singular faction that would go to someone's number one? It seems like a throw away color choice.
It hurts the eyes, man. Not a conscious it just hurts the eyes (and its harder to type, and lazy).k spyrex is out
so sad spyrex u have a conscious now
u cant bear to be an alliance when ur scum ud felel to guilty
unvote: vote: spyrex
Sooo, considering this came AFTER I said what my thought process was are you saying I'm just making stuff up or not reading my words?I can't really think of a reason to pick Orange as a second pick since there most likely is going to be at least one person out of any group of 25 that would pick Orange, so going for Orange as a second pick is just going to be a waste; especially when there is probably three basic permutations of color choices:
* town color/town color;
* scum color/scum color; or
* SK color/town or scum color.
Picking [preferred alignment]/Orange just eliminates the opportunity to get a preference of alignment if the first choice is full already. I assume it would be pot luck for anyone who didn't get either of their choices of just filling in the cracks.
You mean there couldn't be more than one SK? Ohhh perish the thought.Umm, what?
You did read the first posts where Mod says the following, right?
This is 1000000% right.heyhey reck im not getting the tans town logic here
only reason i can see spyspy picking orange second is to confirm the presence of an orange
that or he had some small inner desire and hope of being sk
Does. Not. Compute. Also I like how Vi said question one was irrelevant, and then when SensFan answered it two posts below the answer suddenly became "interesting."
I said, and I'm pretty sure you quoted it, I went "I want to be town, but SK could be a hoot as a backup" thus.@SpyreX: Maybe I'm dumb or I missed it, but could you re-explain why you didn't submit town/town instead of town/sk if you wanted to be town?
Now, see, if it were actuallySensfan wrote:I submitted Red/Orange (so the mods knew I wanted to be Scum, even if my choices didn't count.) SSBF submitted Yellow/Orange. I was given a Town role.
Now, aside from the raw madness in Red makes Purple thus Andrius is scum which is amazing there is the simple fact he went "welp, you're a VT or scum" based on more of that amazing madness - and then never followed up what would be an actual good avenue if he actually believed it.Yeah, based on your 1st post I think you probably drew a VT role or a regular goon role Sensfan, however since I do not have much to go on, I forgot that Andrius wanted purple, and since Red is one of the primary colors used for making purple there is a 50/50 chance that Andrius picked Red Scum, and hence, is our best lynch for now.
Actually there broseph everything you've spewed my way is centered around the simple facts that a.) I said I picked Orange as my second and b.) That for 'mysterious' reasons I've opted to do that AND lie about it.xvart wrote: Even though I see a couple people have already commented on this and despite the fact that it is directed at Vi, as I believe I am one of the people you are accusing of going "'OMG YOU CLAIMED ORANGE SCUMMMM' with the guise of looking town" you have your facts wrong. I never said SpyreX was scum for picking Orange and since I have been beating that horse all game that should be pretty obvious. Go back and read my ISO and you'll have a pretty clear picture that him picking Orange has little to do with why he is scum.
KK wrote:No offence to SensFan, but I have higher expectations of logic from you.
My gut reaction before all this? Probably would have been some form of "Huh, guess there was a lot of people who wanted Red."KK wrote: So what do you think the reaction would be if you said "I picked Red as my second color but didn't get it"?
Are you saying the 'SK' is cult or that somehow everything we've been told by the mods about the setup is bunk.KK wrote: While waiting for the mod(s) to answer my question about whether or not the vote count was messed up, something Andrius said rang a little bell. Currently listed amongst my abilities is my voice and my vote. And in my items is my ring, which is the source of my power. I asked danakillsu if I would lose my voice/vote if I lost my ring and the reply was that I would find out if or when that should happen.
The reason I bring this up and overall want to stop blind color claiming is that we have to remember that this is Black Lantern Mafia and not Lantern Corps Mafia. Losing one's ring doesn't not necessarily result in death and I'm theorizing that it's possible to be "found" by other rings/factions. And I'm sure Nekron is involved somewhere/somehow. Probably as a cult mechanic.
First off, the bolded is again saying your statement before of Orange had nothing to do with it is garbage.xvart wrote:No, and my apologies for continuing to spew words of bullshit or whatever you said earlier, but my basis for my suspicion of you was because with your experience with draft variants and alignment selection games you would knowthat picking Orange as your second choice was a wasted pick. Then I voted for that reason in addition to the fact that you claimed getting your first pick would give you information about whether or not Orange got picked at all, which you would also know is false (regardless of how you thought the draft process was going to function). Even though the mods did not say "If you get your first pick we will tell you if your second pick got picked by someone else" I think it is unlikely under any circumstances that that would ever be the case. If you didn't get either of your picks then you could say that you know the SK got selected, but you didn't say that. This should have also been abundantly clear when I explained why I was interested in you and not SensFan/SSBF.
Jesus. Mayhaps because this is garbage being thrown out by scum and AS SCUM you've got a pretty solid framework for knowing I'm town (Ohh noooo two scum groups fffff)xvart wrote:What is this even implying? That I know what you actually selected? How?
The answer to both of these is contextual and they are bad questions but what the hell.# SpyreX - is vote hopping scummy? (423)
# SpyreX - is it scummy to speculate on scumteams? (419, 423)
I'm apparently braindead. Who else besides Sens has done it? I'd LOVE to see it in context if you'd be so kind because that furthers what I've been saying with this selective garbage, depending.Toog wrote:In other news, I've counted thus far at least 4 people who put Orange in one of the two colors based on the way things have been phrased and such. Of those 4, SpyreX is the only one who stated he put it second. Many have not yet commented on their color choice selection in such an obvious way though, so I am betting there were more.
Uhhh. Why would I have busted in with that?KK wrote:You wouldn't have busted in and said "i'll give an interesting tidbit too because its awesome my second pick was red and i didn't get it"?
What's bugging me is the implied result that you got neither of your choices. Because if you got your first choice, you wouldn't have bothered considering the implications of not getting the second. The fact that you did say something, then backpedaled away from that ridiculous conclusion, then are now defending it as it been questioned just doesn't sit right.
Additionally your wording choice is what makes you suspect. You didn't say that you picked a "town color" first, just "town". Considering that you've stated that you never took the color quota thing into account when making your draft variants. This is screaming to me that you're miffed at not getting a town or SK color. Ergo scum.
No, some traps generate when you see a huge similarity (Sens and I's statements) and instead of opening my fat mouth managed to keep it shut to see who would walk into it.Again, how is that a "trap"? A trap implies that SpyreX foresaw everything and strategized accordingly.
I'm just missing it and after everything else today OMG sheeping caps lock arguments would make me explode.Spyspy, you're still missing a vote. I love you and all but this can't keep up.
Because the implication of "I didn't get my SECOND pick" isn't "I didn't get either" because if that was the case and I was going to open my mouth I would have said I didn't get either?KK wrote:Then you're pretending to be much dumber than you actually are. And likely not for pro-town reasons.
Well, yea, but what I meant is that'd be how town would want to roll if possible to drive scum early looking town and eating kills. It's like bizarro-mafia.Vi wrote: I'm pretty sure that's how the scum want to play, yes...
I think he's town yea.Vi wrote: SpyreX: You implied npiau is Town, Y/N
Hold up.Starbuck wrote: The mods didn't specifically state (as far as I read) in the sign up thread as to which colors would be town and which wouldn't be.
If you know the flavor of Blackest Night and the Green Lantern series, you already know this information. If not, I posted it more than one and even linked the Blackest Night Wiki for people to read in the sign up thread.
Woooo nellyThis game is a UPick. When you /in for this game, you must PM ReaperCharlie and danakillsu two color choices (ranked first and second) from the following:
Red (Scum A)
Yellow (Scum B)
Orange (SK)
Green (Town)
Violet (Town)
Indigo (Town)
Blue (Town)
Of course, we do not guarantee that everyone gets even their second choice, but almost everyone probably will get one of their two choices. The town colors are all the same faction and do not necessarily know the members of their same corps. There is at least one member of each of the six factions listed besides Orange that has no abilities on its own. That is all we are revealing about the setup at this time.
Good catch, SpyreX.
But what does it mean besides that Starbuck is dumb?
That is a lie.The mods didn't specifically state (as far as I read) in the sign up thread as to which colors would be town and which wouldn't be.
Again. If you can have Choice A, then you get Choice A.
If you can't have Choice A, then you get Choice B.
If you can't have Choice A and you also can't have Choice B, then you get whatever is left over.
If you got your Choice A. So how the fuck could you have come to the conclusion that you needed to warn the town that the possibility of a SK exists in this game because you didn't get it and it was your Choice B?
It most logical explanation I can come up with is that you want to direct everyone's attention to SK-hunting.
Again, give me a reason why thats a town move (and, hint, some of the whole color business which I am ACTIVELY a part of was there) and I'll drop it. Until then lol, Jack is going to piss me off.Either they believe it or not, but don't answer every one of them in detail again and again...that and calling for a Jack lynch over some ridiculous C/P-spiel make my spider-sense tingle.
Also for deathDO NOT QUICKLYNCH BEFORE SOME PEOPLE HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO POST TODAY. In particular, I would like to hear from xvart and KageLord since they were on Reck yesterday.
