Gandalf's quote about favor fakeclaims comes directly from OoT. Since role PMs are quoteable, it would be fucking scum over to not provide flavor to them upon request.

1. Primarily, his vote on Krazy was opportunist scum. He never gives a reason for it in his ISO, and merely says "This wagon works too". Not good.
2. As a minor note, I wonder if scum have Day Talk in this game. If they don't, Chrono's posts outlining what each racial ability does reads to me as "HEY SCUMBUDDIES, SEE THIS? MAKE NOTE OF THIS."

The Shield thing does bug me though, since Water/Earth Shields are primarily Resto. I thought Enh Shamans use Lightning Shields (although Krazy does have L-Shields... so... Starbuck or AGar (or any other WoW players wanna weigh in on this?)

Water Shield isn't a one-spec only afaik. Earth Shield is only Resto - which is what concerns me most about Toog's claim. In no way can an Enh Shammy get Earth Shield. Vezo's logic falls in line with that, as I have a feeling Toog requested a fix on that (or fixed it himself) from the mods.

Myself, Starbuck, DH, & IP are all actively playing WoW at this time, or at least up on things. I know Gandalf has a large background with it as well. (These are the people I know, ftr. You might play, I dunno).

What makes a rogue or a mage more believable? Any class can be explained to have an ability that would work as a vigshot and any person who knows a bit about WoW can create a good fakeclaim based on the layout of their original role PM.

Yes, but the point is that it would be a class that deals LOTS of damage in one burst, like a FIRE MAGE or a ROGUE.

You know... in Blackest Night, Black was not told to exist, and the only reason that MoI got it was because he joked about it in his Role Request. Since he was the only one to even mention black at all, he got the role.

Now consider this game. We all signed up with Gender-Race-Class-Spec in our Role Requests. This means that either all anti-town factions are Gender-Race-Class-Spec also, or there are hidden roles (like say the Lich King, Arthas), and it could very well be that you got the role because you are named after the infamous villain.

Having played in Haylen's Earth Struggle Mafia, the Serial Killer was Rena, one of Haylen's alts, being masqueraded around by Nachomamma in the background. It was brought up several times in the game that Rena and Haylen were the same person, but the player behind Rena (Nacho) claimed she had no connection to Haylen. Rena was specifically created to be the Serial Killer of that game.

It is NOT outside the realm of possibility that you, Arthas, are scum simply because your name got it for you.

As for your second point, in that game, the alt was created by the MOD. Not by Nacho, but HAYLEN. That's comparable to what happened in CEBM. Now, it is possible that Reck could have made the account for us. But then, you run into those problems again. We would have had to receive our role before Role PMs went out, and the fact that too many players signed up would have had to have been orchestrated by the mods somehow. Oh, and we did a remarkable job of orchestrating the whole "lol our hydra isn't activated yet and we're finding our avatar, but really, the mods made the account for us teehee" thing. So I think hypothetical us deserve a pat on the back for that.

The more I think about Tragedy's claim, the more it borrows me. For one, I don't think the mods would be sarcastic like that INSIDE the ability description. For two, I don't think that the male/female discrimination thing makes any sense for that role. For three, there's a period missing from her racial(although this is obviously minor). It just doen't feel right.

I think it's rather self-evident that all non-Toog/Tragedy voters need to stop being pricks. It doesn't even really matter which one we lynch since they're both scum, but right now, Tragedy has more votes so that's where my vote is. Personally, I think one of them is VERY likely the cult leader, and Chrono, inHimshallibe, Krazy, AGar, and Substrike are all VERY likely recruits trying to redirect the lynch(obviously they aren't ALL recruits, but you get my point. My top picks would be Chrono and Substrike, with IHSIB coming in at third). I think Tragedy is probably the leader, and recruited Toog N1 to make sure she could get at least two recruits in before she died. The fact that Toog didn't have any vote down until just now makes me even more confident of that.
