chesskid's arguments about humans noticing patterns is actually extremely good. It has nothing to do with statistics. The point is that humans are more likely to subconsciously think a series of numbers is not random if it has a pattern. However, I disagree with the end conclusion - in my mind, the numbers being consecutive seem more attributable to laziness during fabrication.

Somebody asked about my protect - I don't really see the point of revealing it, but I can if people want. My SUPER PROTECT is also floating around out there, so the cutback in kills could be from either of them.

As far as number of scumteam goes, I'd bet cash money the game is multiscum. Super powered single scum is dumb. It also doesn't fit with the Egypt / Greek think (Norse is likely the third combo).

In response to MoI's theory about chesskid3 - it's either true or chesskid was roleblocked. There has still not been any explanation why AXELROD of all people would end up dead of all people. I definitely buy LC-scum for that reason.

In terms of who the other scum are, there's the option of chesskid, but there's ALSO still AGar. His play has been entirely lackluster and un-AGar like the entire game. He is definitely trying to fly under the radar here.

Sorry my play this game has been bad; frankly, I didn't join this game from the get-go because I wasn't in the mood to deal with sifting through all the headaches of a full-PR game, but then I replaced in because it did look cool, and now that nightmare has come through. x____x. Here's the thing:

If you search "eris goddess," "Eris, Greek God of Chaos and Discord," or "eris goddess of chaos," (all without quotes) it DOES NOT come up as a hit. If you search "eris greek goddess" or "eris greek goddess of discord," it DOES. However, it does not come up as the first hit, and there are plenty of clear, vivid images that come up before it.

I find it unlikely the scum were provided fakeclaim pictures, so I'm tempted to believe gandalf's claim. If he was fake claiming, I think it's more likely he would have either copy/pasted his full role name into the search engine or strongly abbreviated it, both of which return plenty of usable image results, but NOT the one he is describing. The only way he'd get the one he's talking about is if he searched for something oddly unique and then decided to scroll down and use a more obscure image ... something I don't see gandalf-scum bothering to do (especially when he didn't even have the thought to double-check and make sure he was getting his gender correct).

I really can't believe he protected Magna. It's almost as if he's not thinking about the game. Scum will never want to kill Magna as it will give us an extra mislynch. I can understand a N1 protect on Magna when you've just replaced in, haven't read the game much and just sent off the protect on someone who is most likely to die - doesn't make sense on N4.

I know my opinion is not highly valued, but I found Iecerint's analysis of who could and cannot be scum useful. Is there any reason Iecerint cannot be scum (other than the cop investigation, which theoretically could have been a bus)?

I'm bad at lylo/mylo. I have always ignored my intuition in favor of logic in lylo and lynched the scummier player overall. This has never gotten me anywhere. My record is like 0 for 3 or something else horrible. I'm sheeping you.

That said - Logic this time says we lynch LC, since Iecerint bagged us scum and has been generally protown, whereas LC has been anything but. I've been a fan of LC for a long time, and I don't know why the wagon him derailed at all when it was up and running a few days ago. However, my intuition says we lynch Iecerint. Faking a guilty in an all-PR setup is actually an extremely strong scum play because your fakeclaim cannot be counterclaimed in the usual sense of the word. You can then enjoy being cleared for the remainder of the game. Moreover, Iecerint's powers don't make much sense. This random generation thing is strange and useless, and having only a one-shot cop as a super is weak compared to other powers. Moreover, the fact that Iecerint happened to hit a guilty with his investigation is statistically unlikely.

In other words, I'm going to be relatively unhelpful. You can take either all the blame or the credit.

P.S. If I were you, I would spend 1-2 hours reviewing the claim table and literally balance this setup from a moderator perspective (e.g., analyze which role makes more sense in the setup - LC's or Iecerint's).

Another reason I suck at lylo - I tend to vote for the person I would be more annoyed losing to. In this case, that would be LC (since I wouldn't mind a loss to Iecerint) ... but once again, this has never done me any good (and might be a reason to vote for Iecerint, actually).
