First: I never received a link to this thread or notification that the game had started, despite someone asking the mod to remind people several pages back. I expect to receive these notifications and do not see it as my duty to check a mod's posting history myself to find the thread, even though that is what I eventually did.

On to content:

Katsuki is scummy as hell. I replaced into a game that had previously mislynched her and this is not at all the behavior under pressure that I remember; there, she was more genuinely distressed instead of flippant and saying we should not lynch her because we like cupcakes and such things.

AGM is right on this one; I think we should lynch her relatively quickly to bank more time for more crucial days.

kanye just made a seriously scummy post and I'm wondering how long we should suffer it to live. Definitely my #2.

Not seeing the cases on evilpacman or wingedamage. They both seem like useless town to me.

Everyone else I have varying degrees of town-to-null reads on that I won't explain unless it becomes relevant.

Yes, it really is a coincidence. I know how it looks, but what do you want me to say? It is what it is. I could offer some sort of WIFOMy "if I were scum I would have waited longer before posting after seeing that," but I hate seeing that type of defense myself, so I won't.

I don't know when it was exactly and I'm on my phone traveling right now so I won't quote it, but it was in a list of people who needed to post.

Patrick basically acknowledged he hadn't poked people or sent out links when I posted. As I said, I'm not going to apologize for not knowing the thread was open when I never received a link or notification that the game had started. If I'm lynched for such a stupid reason, I'll simply chalk it up to a mod mistake I failed to dig myself out of and slink away with my tail in between my legs.

I also knew having my top suspect as Katsuki wouldn't look great, but she IS my top suspect and that's that.

In the last game I plauyed with home, Cobblerfone was very scummy. Several people had him pegged as scum, especially TwoHeadedBoy, but it was a b-mod and the game ended on like d2 due to a weird mechanic.

He has played very differently this game and his effort seems more genuine.

I cringe looking back at my reaction, but I was honestly just pissed because the mix up wasn't my fault and I was looking forward to this game precisely because it is the type of playerlist that doesn't tolerate that sort of mix up.

Pros of Katsuki lynch:

-She's been scummy - obviously so. So scummy that I doubt the town as a whole will ever trust her again.

How testible is this claim? I have never attempted to test a hider.

It seems like a good idea to test it if there isn't a scum RB but we have no way of knowing that. If there is a scum) we'd be wasting our time, right?

And sorry for the triple post, but HEADS UP: Every single scum in this game is going to fakeclaim PR. The days are too fast for us to reverse wagons on vanilla claims. So if you expect to derail every wagon that runs into a PR claim, this game is going to be a trainwreck. We just need to trust ourselves to PR hunt properly.

For now, Katsuki is not a good lynch. Hider is one of the few PRs that can't really be hobbled. They hide from kills.

Do they hide from Blocks? If this game has Natural Resolution, they do.

It just doesn't strike me as being genuine.

Juls: I think it's going through because reck and spy are leading the town and they're all for it.

Everyone is stuck on the fact that Cobblerfone mistook me for Tarsonisocelot when we both have similar avatars and are both females and using that as some sort of convoluted scumtell.

Combine that with my unfortunately coincidental posting time after not being told this game started (yeah, I was active in other games ... BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW THIS ONE EXISTED) and some lackadaisical posts from me since I am busy and then throw in the aggressive players going for it and you get lynch. I know this.

It's not the end of the world, either, since I'll go ahead and claim VT.

I just think it's a shame since everyone thinks my flip will be informative but that's only because they think I will flip scum, or are pretending to think I will flip scum. Very few people are considering the possibility of me flipping town, which is just silly.

When I flip town on d1, you don't get much out of it. That's why it's a shame. If I am going to be mislynched, I'd rather it mean something.

I don't think she's the best lynch because her claim is testable, but she isn't the worst lynch, either.

I actually think it might be a good idea for her to hide behind me tonight, since I've already claimed VT and if I survive today, several people will be suspicious of me and it will serve some sort of purpose.

What bothers me about the bolded has to do with a point I'll explain when I quote his next "list."

The rest I left because he says something about drawing an Amrun Cobbler connection but doesn't even attempt to explain why. Then he votes Cobbler for the same reason he called Cobbler out before. If that was such a solid scumtell, why didn't you push him since the start instead of going after Katsuki, which was the popular lynch at the time? It seems opportunistic to me.

The Mask posted a case on SpyreX which I mostly agreed with, on most but not all points. What was more interested was SpyreX's response to it:

This was mashed in a huge wall of responses. That's all Mask gets, after that? He brushes off this case, which I think is quite good, by saying "You've got stones" and burying that response at that. It gives me a vibe that he didn't really have a good response to it but was hoping it would just go away if he didn't call too much attention to it.

WD came out with the "tee hee random vote" "i'll give a joke reply to SpyreX" to the SLAM DUNK "content? RVS??" - the problem is its TOO perfect and goes around the horn some.

What the hell does that even mean?

Mask calling out SpyreX for carefully avoiding voting WD is spot-on, but SpyreX has Mask as a top scum read without ever actually expressing a scumread on him that I can find. Blatant omgus and perhaps a bit of worried spyscum.

I also think SpyreX was a little too angry about WD replacing out and then expressed annoyance at C-Worl for replacing and being a little too jokey and non-contributive.

One more post like 452 and maybe we swing 700 degrees

So I see a C-Worl/SpyreX connection - tenuous, of course, but there.

Add to this the funny business he pulled where he was like WAIT NO FUNNY HAMMERS IDK WHAT TO DOOOO but did not unvote. It seemed disingenuous to me.

I guess this case sort of boils down to gut, but I wanted to put it out there because I think SpyreX is setting himself up to be beyond reproach, which would be a very bad thing if he is scum as I suspect. Still, not my top suspect.

I actually think this is a better lynch for today, since tajo pulled some funny things with the wingdamage/C-Worl slot, detailed in my D1 wall on him. Therefore, if tajo is scum, C-Worl will definitely be the best lynch for tomorrow, in my opinoin, barring future information.

While it is likely that tajo didn't make the kill, tajo only had two real people suspecting him: Mask and me. Of the two of us, Mask was dropping PR tells and I almost got lynched, remaining a possible mislynch. He was clearly more likely to be killed by a team with tajo-scum on it.

Night kills are rarely analyzed anymore, and they could have easily assumed that cries of WIFOM would draw suspicion elsewhere.

1) It's a shame I didn't get here in time to hammer, but vote katsuki anyway. DGBs 81 is exactly right IMO. He's caught and trying to play it off. The 130/131 sequence *WIFOM ALERT* also makes me think katsuki is trying EXTRA HARD to play cool, rather than flip out and have people say "OMG he's obvscum". I had to re-read this phase and last phase. I agree that Juls is town, even though the way she said it I didn't like and thought she might be WIFOMing me, but on further reflection, that doesn't make a lot of sense.

She didn't hammer and she IS town, and putting me in the LyLo situation I least wanted to be in is something I'd expect from you. And, of course, you said Lowell was town yesterday, so you couldn't let him live, could you? If you killed Juls, then your only option would be to get Lowell to vote for me, and Lowell expressed a strong town read on me so that was unlikely. If you killed me, you would have to get Lowell to vote Juls, which seems slightly more plausible -- and I honestly expected to die tonight because of that. But instead, you went for the other option, which was Lowell. You did this because Juls said yesterday that "Reck or Amrun is the last scum." You could, conceivably, hope for Juls to vote for me.

It remains to be seen if she will. I hope she does. The game is now in her hands.

And your little nightkill analysis is nowhere near as good as mine. You were Lowell's top suspect after kanye, reck. He was far more sure of you being scum than Juls was. If I, as scum, had killed Juls, I could have gone into lylo with two potential mislynches instead of 1.

Honestly, I tried to lynch Lowell yesterday and you guys weren't having it. But yes, once again, I should have trusted myself more, even though both ended up being bad choices. On day one, I shouldn't have let Katsuki's claim defer me. This is the lesson I am learning from this game, which is a good one to learn.
