The difficult part about this game is that I can't openly declare my town reads. They become invalid over a single Day/Night phase. Scum reads, however, are forever. My play revolves A LOT around PoE my townreads and wagoning the largest of my non-town reads. This isn't going to work this game. I will have to reassess all players

No, I'm really not sure what to do this game. Cults are difficult to deal with and not being able to cripple them by killing the cult recruiter makes it even more difficult.

I agree with what many have said/are saying: ignoring the cult recruiters are in our best interests.

I also agree with DGB that trying to use "what would the cult recruiter think" is absolutely hopeless at this juncture. I could probably come up with a justification to recruit every single player here that would make sense.

That's part of it.

This game differs for a cop in two regards. The first is that the cults don't always want a cop dead; they would rather recruit it and use it to hunt out the other cult. This means that even if you're recruited, your guilty results are still trustworthy, because you're still accountable for them.

However, innocents have dual weaknesses: you might be lying and that player might get recruited later. All innocent results are a game of Russian roulette.

No, that's not true at all. I've been trying to mod my game, thank you very much.

I tracked Magister Ludi last night and only received a location. I am willing to claim this location if people want to. Yes, I am a tracker but I think something is funky with my role. For example, my night 1 PM was probably no result but the flavor heavily hinted that I was roleblocked but that I had received partial information. However, I do not think this is the case: I think the problem is on my end or I receive bad results. I did not get a target, only a location from Magister Ludi's travels.

I don't know if the other junkie(ooba, right?) has had similar problems if he has a PR.

The flavor said that I could not find Yosarian that night. It was incredibly ambiguous about whether or not I was roleblocked or whether I received a no result. I assumed that my ability was limited in that I could only receive night actions that were in my location or something.

However, last night, my flavor stated that I found where Magister Ludi went last night, but could not see what he was doing because I suddenly started hallucinating that bugs were all over me. So I can follow people to different locations, and find out that location, just not what they actually did.

When the time comes to consider lynching you, believe me, I will boil down my theory for you. You are not today's play, however.

You and Kinetic are veterans, players with a very high level of play, and the argument of NOT listening to the cult recruiters is an incredibly compelling one. So, Kinetic shows up and starts attacking DGB. My theory is this: if Kinetic had really wanted you lynched or dead, you would be dead by now. He would have sent his recruits at you more covertly rather than attacking you head-on, because he knew no one would listen to him.

So you came up with the master distancing plan.

Of course it's just a theory but one I'm keeping in mind.

If mine head remembers, Kinetic didn't make the serious push for your lynch until Day 2. It's a very viable possibility that, hinging on whether or not he got a successful recruit N1, that he would try to gambit and "push" your lynch.

When the fuck did I claim regular tracker? I don't know specifically who targets what. I only ever know locations. I know where people go, which makes me a tracker I guess. But I don't know which player specifically was targeted. Also, my results:

Night 1: Yos goes nowhere
Night 2: ML goes to Dinkeldorf's Deli
Night 3: DGB goes ?????

The thing is, I don't see how my role can be used at all. If I am lynched today, I will claim where DGB went for massclaim purposes...doubt scum will kill or recruit me at this point. Or something.
