There's a government whip cracked across your back
Where the order of the day is don't listen, attack
See the blood run down in your bushwhack town
Revolution is the gimmick of a joke less clown
Where the body's just yelling for the tax man's gun

Talk, don't talk if you've nothing to say
Walk, don't walk if your feet don't know the way

And requiem for a dying song
With a shimmy and a shank from a futile war
With the sun that lights the day
Breaks the darkness and the powers of another great shame

With you my love, with you my love
With you I will return
And requiem for a dying song

Got the barrel by the face should the order release
Should the bullet in your pocket turn away and retreat
See the terror in the eye of a bloodshot child
Only bubble in his belly and the promise of lies
Operation, liberation, tell me, you can decide

Oh, talk, don't talk if you've nothing to say
Walk, don't walk if your feet don't know the way

Requiem for a dying song
With a shimmy and the shank from a futile war
With the sun that lights the day
Breaks the darkness and the powers of another great shame

But with you my love, with you my love
With you I will return
And requiem for a dying song

Agony from every corner on every street
Act like he lost himself over bitterness
Explode, explode

There's a government whip cracked across your back
Where the order of the day is don't listen, attack

Oh, talk, don't talk if you've nothing to say
Walk, don't walk if your feet don't know the way

Requiem for a dying song
With a shimmy and the shank from a futile war
With the sun that lights the day
Breaks the darkness and the powers of another great shame

But with you my love, with you my love
With you I will return
And requiem for a dying song

With you my love
With you I will return
And requiem for a dying song

Bullshit, Furry. You just as easily might have killed a Doc, or Reviver, or Rolecop.

That was retarded. Especially considering that my experience with Animorph does not warrant the policy vig at all. I'd vote your ass, but I don't see scum having that power or using it so stupidly.

Vote: CSL

@Furry: What? He's made one post of three lines. I don't know JACK about him.

AND THATS THE POINT. If he flips scum it's pure luck. You just don't waste a one-shot vig on someone you have zero information on, just because of one bad previous experience with them.

And you DAMN well don't end Day One before other Town PRs have a good chance to decide who to protect, investigate, block, or whatever. You potentially just FUCKED Town over a personal vendetta.

You should have policy vig'd yourself.

This is a stupid post. I'd react the same way as scum. Your kill, if it is real, was blindingly stupid.

If a gambit........meh. Not my style, but you're still likely Town.

Votes on Furry need to evaporate.

My second choice was Stan Rogers, a semi-obscure Canadian folk singer that died in '83. I can come up with songs for just about any PR. Just to screw with you all. Went with Flogging Molly though.

I don't see much more to do with this day until Slaxx reveals whether Furry is a moron verging on my policy/blacklist or full of shit and perhaps clever.

PE: Furry, I find your post 101 to be unduly condescending from someone I've never heard of or played with before. You really don't think I'm capable of being convincing? Your move was STUPID. Regardless of your, Animorph's, or my alignment.

I REALLY don't like that self-christening as ConfTown. It just doesn't...smell...right.

I have no further comment on the revelation that Furry was gambiting. I stand beside my criticism of the ploy.

For being on both CSL AND Furry's wagon. Furry is most OBVIOUSLY town and you've had not one, but two opportunistic votes. Also, you fail to see the townslip in CSL's first post.

I'm far from convinced of Furry's Towniness anymore. The repeated self-labeling, declaring his intent to "look Town", and the ambiguous but destructive nature of his gambit are really unsettling. Not willing to vote for him, and I still think that most of the votes on him are for shit reasons, but I do not regard him as confirmed or obvious Town.

I also missed CSL's townslip, and I think animorph handled the kill gambit against him with aplomb, though he didn't drop any really solid tells either way.

Unvote
Vote: Nintendo

Bahhhhhh.

Seriously, though, the reaction Nintendo has given to this pupative (yes that's a word, look it up) wagon is reminiscent of Nintendoscum I've seen elsewhere.

I've personally played in several games with Nintendo. He doesn't get Newbie protection status.

Holy shit...I don't like Nintendo's responses to the wagon any more than the rest of you, nor his "so there" claim...but slow the fuck down. This breakneck rush to lynch is not cool.

I don't want to see ANY more votes on Nintendo for at least a few days. Go ahead and keep them there, as Nintendo is probably going to be today's lynch (and should be), but I don't want to see a quicklynch. Let's pursue some secondary targets, yes?

@Seraphim: "Targets" was perhaps a poor choice of words. "Suspects" is better. Pursue Nintendo's buddies and separate the chaff from the wheat so PRs can make informed decisions tonight.

Sorry folks, I've been at a training all week, and thought I'd have better access. I had a little, but that was devoted to slower games that I didn't have a massive backlog of pages for.

I'll try to catch up over the next 24 hours before I go on a brief V/LA with no expected access for a couple of days.
