Sorry for the delay. I'm still wading through this.

I'm Wang Kon of the Koreans. We're Medieval. I have a Horseman at 0/0/2 and a Spearman at 0/2/0. I don't know what swinkee did, but maybe not much. Tyfo built a Spearman and investigated Astronaut. The next night (night before last I believe) he didn't build. He investigated Akonas and protected Thok, and we went into the next age.

I haven't been told specifically, but the advancement follows a set schedule I'm pretty sure. My unique unit is a Hwacha cannon (2/0/0 plus 4 to bombard).

It's only today that you're saying you investigated me as scum, I think. If we're at lynch or lose, this would be a convenient time to claim that. I'm not sure if you got confirmed innocent by someone else, but I have my eye on you in any case.

Ok, I don't think Astronaut is scum. Sorry about that.

Between inHim and d_rouge I'm at a loss. They both seem rather protown to me. I wonder if inHim is bluffing about his capabilities so that he can get through to tomorrow.

I think Akonas has been winging it the whole game, though.

Vote: Akonas

Akonas, nobody was saying anything, so I figured what the hell. Is inHim the vote then? It looks like half of us think he's lying.

Wait for Yosarian to answer, I guess...

Unvote

d_rouge, if there are three scum, will they want to vote each other out? If not, there could be a stalemate. The two-man mafia could say, "Raise your hand if you're the other mafia," and we'd be deadlocked right there.

So I think that either InHim is telling the truth and D_rouge is scum, or InHim must be part of the 2 man scum group.
This makes sense to me. So inHim is the right lynch
if
d_rouge seems more credible. Is there a split on that issue?

vote: inHimshallibe

@d_rouge: Doesn't it make sense that inHim wouldn't counterclaim you unless he had a partner? That would mean he's Middle Eastern.

I think Yosarian is likely to be scum, but not for defending himself... I don't think that argument was WIFOM. To me WIFOM means either way of acting costs scum the same. It's costly for scum to ditch a partner. It could be a gambit though.

Why should that solidify you as scum? He got me as guilty and VisMaior as guilty also, so he's not simply insane.

If we believe they're Mideast together (which makes sense, since I don't think Akonas could be partners with inHim), it seems to me that it would be better to try to get another person to vote inHim, since this will confirm you (d_rouge).

If we lynch Yosarian and he's European, and then lynch inHim tomorrow when in fact you're Mideast with Akonas, I think we'd be in really bad shape.

Astronaut wrote:d_rouge/Kelly: Do you really think we should count on scum nightkilling eachother? Aren't we better off finishing off the European scum and counting on our blocking/protecting units?
Maybe I'm missing something, but that seems like a bad idea to me. Scum have normal win conditions, don't they? If we lynch the European, scum wins if they manage to nightkill anyone. I think we're guaranteed one more day at least if we lynch a Mideast player.

Since when are you betting that I'm scum?

I get a pretty bad feeling from that post.

And this:

unvote Yosarian, vote: Inhim
That makes it sound like you don't actually want Yosarian lynched... inHim was going to be the lynch anyway, unless someone took their vote off. I'm not sure what to make of that.

We could not get advances or units or anything. We had to go by what town players were saying.

When I fake claimed Koreans, Astronaut asked me what I could build now that I was medieval. I had no idea, so I said I hadn't been told yet. My plan was to weasel out of having to give a list by saying (the next day) that I built my unique unit.

When the mod seemed to back up inHim's story that he had never indicated whether he bombarded targets' cities vs. units, and also suggested that this distinction might not be necessary, I wrote to complain, because I was pretty sure Akonas would unvote inHim after that. And that game night (the one where I died) Thesp sent me the unit/tech list.
