^This statement actually resonates with me, no one is being obvious scum yet. Which means scum are probably just lurking.

I don't get the Vezok votes either.

As for Thief - if you're gonna be lynching somebody for 'not caring who is lynched', Fourseen Circumstance is a better lynch.
Just look at the ISO. Sheeping the policy lynch on Lowell, voting me for seemingly no reason and voting TMC for 'opportunistic play'. That's rubbish, nothing about his play was opportunistic. When I point this out here, FC does'nt correct me or state why he thought it was opportunitic - he says nothing.

unvote MoS
,
VOTE: Quilford

Why is CKD scum, Quilford?

^This also seems unlikely to come from scum. I was voting him, with no reasoning, but he wants to push Fourseen over myself (who was currently a hot seat candidate with him?)

I am fine with being in the hot seat today, although it hurts my pride to be the policy wagon and not Lowell (which probably means Lowell is scum and his buddies are pushing me), I'm sure you're all very capable of analyzing my wagon.

Vote: FourseenCircumstance

The "this game is boooooooring" schtick is over the top and forced.

Vote: Xanatos

By far the scummiest vote on my wagon, combined with his odd comments earlier.

My only hot seat desire is to be up there with one of these two. I know two is asking too much (as Vifam's train has reached unstoppable velocities), so just put one of these up here with me so I can feel as if I accomplished something with my play this game.

David Xanatos wrote:VOTE: Thief

Not caring who's lynched is as far from pro-town as I see it possible to be.

UNVOTE: Vifam
VOTE: Fourseen

He's either a sheeping alt or a troll, not even vaguely attempting reasoning with votes outside his RVS explanation of "not liking the way he used random.org"..
Whichever he is, frankly wouldn't mind seeing him gone.

My apathy at who is lynched is in line with Internet Stranger and others at this point who vote without reasoning.

He singles me out and comes up with this faulty logic to hop on my wagon. "As far from pro-town" is not only a hyberbole, it is also an admittance that I am merely acting anti-town, not scummy. Whether blatant bandwagonning is actually anti-town is a whole other discussion, but clearly Xanatos is trying to push it as a scumtell with both his votes. If ever called out on his reasoning later, he came claim the "oh I was just voting anti-town people" to feign his town mindset, even though that isn't real scumhunting at all.

I'd prefer him in the hotseat with me over Fourseen, because of his higher chance of flipping scum than Fourseen (who is just a liability at this point).

David Xanatos wrote:Actually, I think you'll find that a mindset of "not caring" is very scummy indeed. Scum have an interest only in not having themselves or their team wagoned, and apathy towards who else is lynched, especially in early days. And after all, you did imply you wanted me to be the Vicious to your Spike...

I do not find that. Scum care very much who are lynched, and do not show blatant apathy. They don't show a mindset of "I'll mislynch anyone," scum want to
mislynch people who will not make them look bad afterward.
For instance, you won't find any scum apathetically wagoning a clear townsperson like Amrun. You'll find them voting anti-town townies, such as myself, so that when they flip town they can always justify the lynch with "well they were being anti-town I regret nothing."

Oh wait.

That's what you're doing isn't it?

I see right through you Vicious.

Your intents are clear, you want to kill us all and take over this town.

Tclaw's votes are consistent with his posts and his reads, and I have no problem with it.

Also since the "scumtell" people are using for me is false, (not caring who is lynched is not a scumtell) I assume most of the votes are for policy. Maybe that's just a projection of my own thoughts of how people would view my play, because no one should find it scummy (ideally, because I am town), so I assume the votes on me by misguided townies are for policy because they cannot read my play, not because they find it scummy.

You are using meta from the first game and a different player and trying to apply it here, as well as trying to deflect my suspicion onto Tclaw instead of Xanatos?

I understand your gutread now, Hiplop.

You've apparently thought about this "optimal scum strategy" a lot more than I have, Xanatos.

This is a really difficult choice...

Vifam will more likely flip scum, but Fourseen will flip troll either way.

I suppose we'll have to hope there is a Vigilante.

You should probably claim Vifam, I believe Fourseen's VT claim, but if Vifam is scum we need to lock him into a fakeclaim now.

That's funny Tclaw you say that with that quote Tclaw, I was preparing for scum to come in here and use that post against me with the argument that I was coaching a buddy to claim before he was hammered, which I admit does look pretty bad for me now knowing that Vifam was scum.

That said, I still don't have any strong scumreads. I had that vague bad feelings about Stefan yesterday though, so I will sheep onto that wagon.

Vote: Stefan

As for my other vote, its pretty much up for grabs for someone with a convincing case (as long as it isnt on any of my townreads of which I have plenty).

For now, I don't like the tone of this post at all:
PeregrineV wrote:
tclawren wrote:VOTE: StefanB

Obviously aligned with Vifam.

Let me think about my second vote.

Did an ISO and didn't see it. Can you point it out?

FourseenCircumstance wrote:...... It is pretty obvious I am not scum if vifam was mafia... Why the vote ?

More obvious stuff. Please explain it to me like it's not obvious.

Vote: Quilford

Searching his ISO:
Its really bare. For someone that wants things "explained" to him like a child, he sure doesn't seem like the sort of player that is verbose
at all
with his reasoning. The only thing in his favor is the L-1 vote on saving Fourseen, but even that was just slapped in there with no reasoning or explanation.

Maybe its a playstyle thing, but its incredibly scummy to not ever elaborate on one's reads or votes. Throw that
on top of him asking other people to elaborate
and we have ourselves a scum hypocrite sandwich.

Well look at that, I guess I do have a strong scumread after all. Its been awhile since I played a game... I forgot how scum can be found if I just put my mind to it...

Or maybe shoot him just because he isn't going away...

You have plenty of options Stefan (hell if CKD really insists on not being left alive to be a mislynch you could shoot him since he claimed VT, but he's almost certainly 100% town.)

Farside you really shouldn't be co-ercing the town into lynching quicker with information on how long the night will be.

I can only assume Hiplop is scum the way he is being saved over others, when they are all claimed VT and he is the least townish of them all.

This is a blatant appeal to be left alive. "Save me and TOMORROW I'll catch all the scum."

This post rubs me no better either:

Amrun wrote:

Go into rage mode now, please.

So you push him closer to being saved, aka he'll feel less pressure of dying, and expect him to rage?

No, I just don't believe it.

CKD is clearly town. I can tell this because of his attitude toward the Vifam scumflip. I myself thought I would be a liability the way I asked for Vifam's claim, and that I would need to be a mislynch at some point. CKD realizes he looks bad and is not trying to defend that action,
he wants to die because he does not want to be mislynched later on for his mistake of defending scum.

That is the clearest town mindset in this game, and, like I said, cannot fathom how people would want to save a lurker who's mindset is to "save me and then LATER I'll catch some scum for sure" which shows survivalist motivation.

Peregrin (2) Quilford, StefanB,
hiplop (6) Vezo, CSL, Lowell, Fourseen, teamsleep, Amrun

We need to compromise. Quilford and Stefan, I have townreads on both of you, what makes Peregrin more town than CKD?

The only townread I have on the hiplop wagon is...
Well none really. That is another reason why its such a terrible save wagon, I feel as though there's multiple scum fueling it.
