Another alternative usage can be: One player goes to the door control, another goes to start a party. Close the party room off, then have everyone jump to the party, including the door controller- YAY, we got a normal mafia game without odd mechanics. I’m not sure abut enacting this plan because there’s oh so many ways this can go wrong. A possibility is doing this within the later stages of the game.
anybody besides me just want this
I already told you this is a REALLY bad idea. I don't want to explain, but will if pushed.
Llmarble wasn't obviously town because of his "Claim the Chits and Moves before we do them" thing. Giving scum that info is anti-town.
still pushing and pressing-

So keep on going.
Why is tc not scum? Sooner you tell us this, the sooner other wagons can build.
I'm not telling you for a reason.
Which I also won't tell you.
Let it build though...let it build...scum won't be able to resist.-

How the hell did that get there. >.>
I'll take it out
Nautilius (Nachomamma8 + Ellibereth)
Everything we've heard so far is from Elli I take it? Now I get why El Goosuki was so hated and got mislynched in Stars Aligned III. I don't like this slot one bit, but it could easily be town anyway. I hope when Nacho catches up it becomes more readable
Beep.
I barely posted that game. And katsu didn't post that game. And DGB was busy too. But that's another story.-

This is almost identical to my list which I won't post as giving town reads lets the mafia know who to kill obviously as they can't tell this from the game thread also long sentence no commas and no full stops lots of badly placed conjunctions what.
Except move Marble town a bit.
I don't think Tc's reaction was great first off but he then did something that made him more likely town Otoh he could have been coached if a buddy was online.-

I WANTED TO LEAVE DAMNIT FARA (wait was one of those mina >.>)
Amrun was a lame reason I won't explain since she's not town anymore.
Tclaw can wait until he's in danger....partial reason is this early posts reminded me of townme.
(It's funny, I had the opposite reaction from Klaz though, the daykill part made me worry more about being wrong than thinking he was town...)

Nacho here, compiling a post now. But first: a few notes.
Since we just took a serious hit on chits, moving maru to the potions room is a very small priority. First of all, it's a gamble sending him there: we don't know whether the power he receives is going to be good/useful, and even if he does get a strong powerrole, we're still going to have to spend a ton of chits we don't have getting him back to a place where he can use his powers. All of that, and it's likely he's going to be nightkilled anyways.
Top priority right now is getting someone to the move checker, and closing it in as much as possible if we can help it. It's in our best interest to have someone in there for the majority of the game, and so I'd elect putting Maru in there now since he's trustworthy and close. If we want to move him to the potions room (assuming he's alive by tomorrow), we can move him out when we have a replacement ready and willing. Llama to the panic room should be done ASAP, so I'm planning to move him to the party room if throwing the switch doesn't count for any chits.
Secluded Villa should only be used as a waypoint to door control after today, and as a place for some of the sketchier people to go if they aren't contributing much in thread. We need thinking minds out in the open, and we need them to be in the War Room and the Security Room and the Move Checker so we can have trusted people operating those things since they won't be around for long. I also think Nexus should be off-limits, the neutral areas should be the electric chair and the party room. Only room in Rank D that should ever be operated is the Panic Room, then 3 people maximum beyond that (one move checker, one war room, one potions).
Finally, Fate. Don't see a reason we should worry about him today, honestly. We have shit to get done today, and there's no use bothering with him at the moment.
Unvote, Vote: Amrun-

Also don't understand why Maru wasn't sent into Tipping Point, and both Soda and I were elected to be pushed over him. If Maru being sent to potions was a threat like it's supposed to be, I'd expect that they would've hopped on the chance to make us waste yet another chit getting him there and back.-

Move Soda to The Switch uninsured.
Doing this.
This happened.
Unless scum predicted ALOTOFSHIT Amrun's probably town, yes?
Enlighten me; I'm not seeing your train of thought.-

If scum didn't want to get Magua electrocuted, they would have to submit a no-move on one of the switch actions. This was most likely more than they could afford, especially considering the tipping point maneuver. If Amrunscum didn't submit that action, someone most likely would've asked questions as to why scum would stretch themselves out THAT thin OR amrun could have gotten investigated by a powerrole and caught. Scum really couldn't afford losing three members in two days that quickly, and so they would be far less likely to take a risk like that.

Meant to get this case in immediately after Soda fried Magua, but got distracted...
Vote: SodaSpirit17
This guy dies today, and he dies now. The largest thing that he has contributed to this game is his ISO #5, which is a few one-liners vaguely explaining a couple of suspicions he has. And call me a skeptic, but I seriously doubt someone this new to the game would be able to peg two scum upon replacing in (especially without taking scumhunting seriously) unless those scum were his partners. His belief that killing scum confirmed him as town (demonstrated by his immediate request to be let into the security room after killing Magua as well as the fact that the entirety of his defense is "but I killed Magua!").
Speaking of which, the Magua-Soda interaction absolutely REEKS of scum, note Soda's weak attempts at pressure on Magua in #817, #821, and #823, and Magua's subsequent responses. Magua at first ignores Soda, who pressed on, and is given a few canned responses that suggest Magua is trying to limit the interactions as much as possible. In Magua's ISO #42, he calls SodaSpirit a weak town read for his pushing of iamusername, which seems like an attempt to give a little towncred to Soda's bussing attempt, but not leaning his neck out far enough to link himself with him.
Also, his hesitation in throwing the switch was pretty damn strange: he adamantly attempt to save himself from having to pull the switch on Magua until he gets to this point...
In post 1441, SodaSpirit17 wrote:orrrrrrr maybe someone could move me to the electric chair, unlock the door to security and yea let me in there. I do realize what happened but it'll be good.
This is NOT a townie mindset. If town are reluctant to kill surefire scum, then they have a reason. In soda's postings, he keeps asking for a reason why as opposed to explaining himself why not. This suggests that he didn't even have a reason; he was just looking for ways to delay Magua's death. This makes much more sense coming from a mindset, especially if Magua was a strong strategist in-thread; I could see Soda being far more reluctant to kill a player who demonstrated his skill in the quicktopic already.
Finally, his most recent defense reeks so badly of survival intent that zoraster might as well publicly announce him scum now. He defends himself much in the same way he defended Magua before he threw the switch; every post is geared towards delaying and surviving just a little longer. He suggest we just "shoot him", even though none of us have even hinted at a vigilante power (but, with a Mafia Doctor flip, I'm sure there was talk of one in the quicktopic).
Zajnet, on the other hand, is probably town. Plum might be scum, but I'd rather get an obvious mafia member out of the way first.-

Two, actually. Only thing we can do to stop it is close the doors between the nexus and the ragetorium and the switch and the ragetorium.
So I'm putting that up as Plum's responsibility that one/both of those doors are shut during the night.
Also, town with chits going into night should be choosing from the following moves:
This will fuck up scum plans in case they try to pull the tipping point trick again. I'd also like if Plum closed the doors between the nexus and the switch, and between the nexus and the ragetorium. I don't see how Andy needs to be in the Nexus in order to check for an obvious tunnel unless he can block them up. His role would do more good checking in places where there are a lot of people in close proximity (party room, ragetorium, secluded villa) so we can deal with possible mafia threats before more tunnel shenanigans strike.-
