Intuition makes me think that lynching the mod here would be bad. It varies between games obviously, and I'm sure if I looked I could find games where lynching the mod was bad (don't really feel like it atm) and the way that MoS is modding, that is giving out severe punishments for minor offenses, makes me think that something like lynching the mod could blow up in everyone's faces.

There's plenty of people who think the opposite. We don't really have the manpower to prove either side right currently. Desire to lynch the mod, in my opinion, is a null tell, especially in bastard mod games.

I apologise; I was reading Implosion in isolation. But, yes, easily half the game have their hands tied due to rules violations that, in all honesty, are inconsequential, and that's not done well for this first week of Day 1. So what if you want to vent, or preserve your reputation for not falling to sucker bets, or (gasp) have a real life? In any case, tomorrow's going to be a long day.

Neither am I. You posted the vote, and then you asked what the reasoning behind the vote was, only to point out the reasoning he gave for the vote right after. Furthermore, what do you dislike about this? What specifically do you dislike?

Why didn't he give the reasoning when he actually voted for Lich King? It seems to me like he's trying to cover the wagon trail with fluorescent paint and papier-mâché.

I severely disagree. It is a great way of finding scum, as they'd love to waste a lynch, and, as I said before, all mafia players have a complex of wanting to lynch the mod, simply to do it. If you can read through it and find the scum, it's as good a scumhunting tactic as any other. Unless, of course, the mod does something to warrant being viable as a lynch, which hasn't happened. Furthermore, he brings up a good point that I don't think anyone ever counters: based on MoS's current modding style, lynching him would most likely fuck us over.
