...and I'm here to replace him.

He seems to have done---how should I express this?---nothing at all in this game so far.
Although I have observed the game (how can you not with that title) I will do a re-read and post later, hopefully today.

So I am re-reading and posting my thoughts as they come

First random voting. Not much to say.
Then it's the DGB claim. Fortify and CD hooks on in a little suspect way.
I get a good vibe from marc.six from his first post. Don't ask me why.
I am also getting good vibes from Primate in this game.
CD is quick to withdraw his vote from DGB when arimnaes says so, even though it doesn't matters much after two unvotes. Don't like him. CES is a little suspect too.

Rhox seems like a standard pointing-out-the-obvious mafia tactics.
Shamrock drives the game forward in a townie fashon.
Although
Shamrock wrote:Something DG just said clicked with me and matches up with a part of my role, I'm inclined to believe him for the moment.
Care to elaborate on that, now that she's gone?

Ok, this is my vibes from the first 5 pages. I'm too sleepy to continue now - I'll post more tomorrow.

Summary:
good vibes:
Masterchief
marc.six
Primate
Shamrock

bad vibes:
CD
CES
Rhox[/quote]

Could anyone explain the cassandra role? It's not in the Wiki.
Does Homer refer to the Author of Helen of Troy where Cassandra was the princess?

It seems that we had a werewolf but no earlier clawings. It also seems that he was the only werewolf from the wording of the night scene.

And do you, Masterchief, have any defense?

Apologies accepted, CD.

Could you clarify what you mean? What did Arimnaes say?

Fortify, when you normally get lynched for making such posts, is it good or bad for the town?

It's interesting that Toaster thinks he has won.
DGB claimed that she had lost from the beginning, but turned out to be SK. Was she a death miller? That would have the effect that we would like to hang Toaster. Or was she unknowningly an SK? Well, how could you when you are not sending in night choices. So if she really knowningly was SK all the time, was this loser thing a claim she was forced to make or did she make it up?

I hadn't replaced in this game yet when the whole DGB affair was up, but I read the thread anyway and I really didn't expect her to turn up SK. Something wasn't right.

And now we have this opposite guy. Toaster - I would really like to know what you think of DGB.

I am inclined to believe PBuG. I can't think of a reason to play that way if he is a regular mafia. And of course not as a regular town. Therefore, he has a weird role of some kind, and I think it's pro-town.

I am not sure about our M4yhem, but he is right when he says that Glork is ignoring the Strudel reward, because it surely exists. I also agree that we should not lynch a claimed vig.

Glork, on the other hand, is right that we should lynch scum. But why are you so sure that Poppie isn't scum?

Glork, I assume you mean me and M4yhem.

When was I "insistent on fishing for information"?

I said two things:
dahen wrote:Glork is ignoring the Strudel reward, because it surely exists.
and
dahen wrote: I also agree that we should not lynch a claimed vig.
The latter is clearly not fishing for information. The former is a remark that you seem to be ignoring the fact that lynching Strudel will give information. And it will. I have not voted Strudel. I did not say I think he is the best lynch (I haven't said the contrary either). What I did say was the fact that you seemed to ignore one aspect of lynching Strudel. From my point of view, my remark is more about you than about Strudel.

This said, I am not defending Strudel. I will make up my mind about him. It's just that Glork has drawn my attention more recently.

Well, with THAT interpretation I think there should be more fishing.

You have to be able to support your theories at least to some extent. That includes the case where you are a power-role and know something from investigation. If you are a cop you probably have reasons for your investigation and those reasons are interesting to hear. That does not mean you have to claim.

I thought Romanus behavior was mafia-like, since only mafia would know for sure that someone wasn't mafia. I thought he assumed things for no reason. If you think it's anti-town to share views like that, then it's very hard to catch scum.

vote Glork

I'm mad at you at the moment. Maybe it affects my judgement (feel free to think "backpedaling!" here), but something needs to be done. I think you have a terrible view on what are valid questions. It's not like the questioned player HAS to answer in a certain fasion.

We want people to say things. Asking questions is an important part of the game. If you think that my question is scummy, then you should be happy because in your view it helps you find scum. The problem is that you seem to be more worried about the possible effects of the question ("forcing information") than the question itself.

You seem over-protective of others in a fasion that I often see scum do.

Even if I like my Glork vote, I agree Strudel is probably a better play now that I've calmed down a bit.

unvote, vote: Toaster Strudel

I can't see why Scum suddenly would list names like that. I don't think it's good for scum even if the list is random. It excludes M4yhem's target and M4yhem was quick to reply to scum.

This behavior has also started after M4yhem replaced. So I'm thinking is that he is trying to be looked upon as more townie-like since he (and I) talked for the Strudel lynch yesterday, which was clearly not the best choice.

He has a point in that day-time behavior is important in this game. I liked it yesterday, but I don't like his today.
FOS: M4yhem
I will have to re-read how his predecessor appeared.

Scum isn't a person, but controlled by mod. If I'm not totally confused, I believe any scum person can PM our Mod to get the output from the Scum character. You should know that.

Hmm... interesting. The first quotation there had your name correctly spelled. Didn't you notice that? If this isn't something made as a diversion, it seems that there are more than one scum communicating through "Scum". This is in line with my interpretation.

No need to prod me. I'm here.
I am still voting M4yhem but I'm watching to see how things develop around this. Initially today I wasn't opposed to a Fortify lynch either, but I started re-reading on him and decided not to move my vote. I haven't finished the read yet, though.
