To answer that, I was not commanding JDodge to "keep fishing". I was saying generally, as to an audience, "Keep fishing!" It was a joke, we got past that part.~N9V~ wrote:GodOfWine wrote:

Keep fishing.
How was JDodge fishing about someone else fishing.
The whole vote was just to imitate JDodge's previous post. I was not intending to start a mass movement. I really dont find him scummy at all so I guess I can't justify keeping a vote on him. I will be watching all those people who were eager to interpret a little playfulness as a chance to gang up on the funny guy. You know who you are. (cough, AlSleet, ~N9V~, pulsewidth, cough) I'm not FoSing though. More of an IGMEOY.
-

Hmm, I have to say that recent activity has prompted me tovote: ~N9V~
It is a combination of the reasons from post 112 (and the surrounding conversation) and the way he defended those accusations.
^^Cuz I was posting my thoughts as i read...
I need a little more substance than that. ~N9V~, if you'v got the substance, let me hear it to clear your name.-

Excuse me, ~N9V~, apparently you misinterpreted me. I meant that your response sounded like a flimsy wad of horse faeces. Even if it is the reason you posted the same theory twice, I didn't like the threory in the first place. So take my vote and cherish it, because it will be there until you convince me otherwise.-

Thanks Nelly for that awesome post which allowed SirWario to realize N9V's fatal flaw. Every single conclusion N9V has come to is based on the assumption that JDodge is indisputably townie. Now I'm not really suspicious of JDodge at all, but it is strange that N9V would make theassumption. We all know what happens when you assume...-

I heartily agree. That dismissive attitude that arises when scum cant logically defend something they said is most telling. Bobby rises a few scum notches in my book.Albert wrote:
This here, is what I call trying to close a topic. You're trying to shrug the subject off by framing it as a simple difference in opinion that cannot be helped, or investigated further. I find this very telling about the alignment of a person, since townies will rather defend themselves then let suspicions slide off them as new suspicions arise.bobbyplump wrote: You disagree, I take it.-

I can't understand why the "too scummy to be scum" defense is still standing. I apparently am the popular vote now because I decided to promote voting for the player who just killed our cop without wanrning or precaution. I'm sorry if I'm the only one who finds that scummy, and would like to rid the game of a player who will continue to act recklessly.
Oman and Erg0 who like to defend ABR, you have a tendency to build your defense on theassumptionthat ABR is town. Stop that.-

Obviously no one has actually been reading anything I say. JordanA24 and SirWario, you have both questioned me using logic that is based on the fact that I was dead sure ABR was scum. Not true. I thought his behavior was very scummy, but the main reason I put the vote on him was because of the erratic and reckless play that I thought would endanger the game down the road. Forcing someone to "claim or die" as ABR did is wild gameplay and killing bobby with no warning only increases his wildness. I thought his character (Hydrogen was it?) put everyone at risk without logic. And SirWario, get some balls and slap a vote on me, like everyone else.
And as a side note. People should pay more attention to the posts I make. Not to what I'm saying but the words that I say it with.-

Anyway I'm going to claim, seeing that my future seems a bit uncertain here. When I mentioned reading my posts a little closer, I was talking about looking at the language that I had used because I was trying to surreptitiously claim. I was a little upset that my royal decree was ignored because I amKING ARTHUR, vanilla townie. All I've got on my side is valor and a sense for justice.-

Well, I started using the regal wording once I started becoming frustrating that I could have such a powerful title with no real power, besides your standard vote. I know that this game has crazy role names and everything, but Hydrogen is still a weirdo claim in my mind. It just doesn't sit well with me, especially giving "hydrogen" the power to kill.-

I guess it makes more sense than I thought earlier. I don't know I'm still inclined to believe that roles based on inanimate objects wouldn't exist. First of all (and maybe I'm being too literal for the situation). When everyone convened in the woods at the start of the game, why would we have counted Hydrogen among us? It's invisible!-

Good point, Nelly, I guess the name claim really is insignificant as long as it is somewhat cryptic. The only thing that may bother me is the possibility that you may be nameclaiming broccoli to help ABR out of a jam explaining the Hydrogen claim, but that seems like wild unfounded speculation even to me.-

I didn't like the way he was playing before, and now that feeling is returning. He seems fine to accept that he doesn't have that valid of a reason for voting Xdaamno.
Also,Vote: Xdaamno
Oman has been attacking xdaamno all game, but he hardly seems to care. I also really don't like when people use the reason "I didn't like that post but I don't know why" to draw attention somewhere. It's usually just that you don't have enough information to make a real case, or that nothing suspicious actually existed. But once you call something suspicious, everybody has a tendency to ACCEPT that it was suspicious because somebody else said it was. Then you get the problems of over analyzing and the like.Xdaamno wrote:Also, I'm not sure what you guys see in Oman. He's looks like a frustrated pro-town player to me.-

I usually have bad relationships with people who prefer to elongate the day period of the game. I agree with Fritzler about moving as quickly as possible, not because we'd become side-tracked but because you need to jump on the scums mistakes and tells before they get a chance to confuse you with wordiness and circular logic. They basically start filibustering until people get tired of dealing with them and change their attention.
Get em while they're hot you could say.-

People like MoS and Shanba are kind of annoying me here, by voting for people who are in absolutely NO danger of being lynched. If you're only doing this so that later you can say "Look I voted for this guy back when no one else did!" just put a freaking FoS on them and let it go. MoS vote/unvote was totally weak. Shanba's vote on Setael was retarded. Oman should just self-vote and let TCS do the honors.-

You can't tack this on to the end of your most detailed post and then expect it to be taken seriously. I actually agree with the plan you proposed, I just can't see it actually being organized because there would always be some morons who didn't see the logic and refuse to adhere, based on the logic those moronic refusers are supposed to be automatically forced to hammer, and I'm sure there will be more than one.Erg0 wrote:Point is, we didn't fully adopt the plan, and therefore this isn't relevant to anything. At all.
Also, since the vote count has been reset, we would have to wait for Oman to return to L-1, which I don't think is even going to happen.-
