Ok, this is for testing purposes:

Throw a sushi roll at Lowell

I want to see exactly how much damage this does. No one else throw anything at Lowell before the next chart is up.

BTW, have I ever mentioned I love to play taiko?

I think the votes are self explainable.

Think
what you may have done which would have caused me to vote you. Clearly, this is not as hard as playing shogi.

I doubt you are all post restricted or anything, but it is worth noting that these players have at least attempted in the past to express who their characters were.

I think it would be horribly unfair for the mod to make an entire mafia post restricted, so I don't think that hte 'foreign students' are a scum group. One of them, maybe, though? I guess it depends on what the b ad guys are tryign to do.
Well, I am, at least post restricted. I need to say at least one Japanese word, like
hara kiri
once every post. You can confirm this by reading my predecessor's (pulsewidth's) posts, which does include some sort of Japanese words. It is highly unlikely that we both tried to fake the post restriction.

I really don't see the mafia being post restricted at all. In fact, in some of the PR games I have read, mafia were the ones do did not have a PR.

Mass voting and then refusing to give reasons for them when asked by at least 6-7 people is very scummy. In fact, it almost confirms the person as yakuza. I get your logic now.

Whoever thinks I am jester is scummy.

Japanese word of the hour:

Ikebana: A flower arrangement.

I'd appreciate if someone gave me Japanese words for:

1) Fools
2) Scum (I used yakuza earlier, but that is very generic)
3) Jester

So I can include it better without being distractive.

I don't see how a jester would be equivalent in this game. Jesters win by getting lynched. Therefore a jester will almost certainly win in such a situation as this, where the only mechanic (that we know of) for eliminating players is by throwing food at them.

Bm, why are you assuming someone is more likely a jester than whateverthe name of the scumgroup is? I guess I am saying that someone would only think that there might be jesters if they knew about some sort of way to eliminate players other than lynching.

I'm basically saying I think you just botched up.
Are you saying that you think there might not be Night Kills in this game?
good call Jordan. Second this question, and ask another:

If you dont think Sir T is a Jester, why have you not cast your food at him?
I'm getting defensive scumbuddy vibes here.

BM
This post is ridiculous.

You were first claiming that I am a jester. Then, Skruffs writes a post saying how I cannot be a jester, after which you accuse him of being my scumbuddy?

Does anyone even get what BM-sans is trying to say here?

A simple 3 step questionaire might help you convey your thoughts better

 Am I a Jester or not?
 Do Jesters have scumbuddies? If they do not, who has scumbuddies?
 Can a person be a scum and a jester at once?

BM spectacularly dodged the question on his alignment...

In other news, Everton's Joel Lescott was denied a penalty when Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher threw a
sumo wrestling
tackle at him inside the penalty box by refree Mark Clattenburg during the recent Merseyside derby.

I agree about the jester not being present. I also think the scum are likely to consider the possibility of a jester.

A townie is likely to think "he's scum". A scum would go through a bit different thought process. First, the scum would think I am an easy lynch. Then, they would begin to thin I am looking too scummy, and THEN they would think I am a jester due to my past history as town and scum, and the fact that they know I am not a scum.

BM had almost the same thought pattern.

Interesting...

But seriously, you having an alignment, and me not having one, makes me naturally suspicious of you, especially in a game like this, where I can't imagine the existence of too many types of power roles, so majority of townies should be vanilla.

Er... not exactly.

All my PM said was that I am an exchange student from Japan, with a PR about posting one Japanese word (the example given in my PM was "sayonara") per post.

The PM further detailed my lunch box, which was all Japanese food of some kind or other (with the note that my predecessor had used 2 Sushi rolls) and a notice about my lunch box filling every day with same contents.

I think foolinc is correct in saying that there is a SK around. The School secretary should be an administration NK. IMO, only Administration can "expell" or "fire" people.

The JDodge kill does appear like a Vig or SK night kill. Determining which would be quite simple. If there is a Vig, he should simply not "kill" on N2 (just one night) to let the town know that there is a killing role on the town side, without claiming his identity. A SK cannot usually send in no night kill.

The only flaw I see with this situation is if there is another scum group of "bullies" or something like that (that is renegade students), which could jeopordise the town by sending in a no NK.

I do see lunch lady as a viable candidate for a SK role. (The flavour could be along the lines of the lunch lady is disgusted that all her hard made food is thrown about etc, etc)

Erg0, look at the flavor. The secretary looks like some sort of renegede admin. Plus the fact that the secretary was

Not saying all admin are mafia or all students are not (in fact after thinking more clearly, I think second kill would have been made by a student)

I have reason to believe that a mass food claim would be a very bad idea for us. I will NOT elaborate at this time.
Can we at least claim what we have already thrown (both fake as well as real throws)

That sort of claim will not be harmful, because it is already out in the open, yet save a lot of time rereading the thread just to make a list of what people have thrown and what they have not.

For example, I have so far thrown Wasabi, Tea, Sushi and Noodles, which may or may not be my lunch box.

Please post links to a few games where there was an SK that was mandatorially forced to kill each night.
Skruff-sans,

This is my general understanding of the SK role, because I have seen a game where there was this vig who
had
to kill being called "SKish" Vig. I have never been a SK so far, nor been in a role with a SK (apart from Mafia 66, which had SK as sole scum), but so far, I haven't seen a normal SK role submit a NK. The only game where I have known this to be allowed was Mafia 66 -- Freelancer, but again that was because SK were the only scum in that game.

From mafia wiki:

[[Serial Killer]] -- The Serial Killer is like a lone Mafia member. The Serial Killer kills once per night, and his goal is to be the sole survivor.
Frequently they are not allowed by the Game Moderator to forgo their night kill.
