Time for me to get out of retirement and run a game. But what should I run?

Is it okay to run this or should I not? Should I flavourize the roles? Make the Assassin be "Covid-19". Make the guards "People of 2020-2021". Make the King be a "Doctor"

Do those statements go too far? PM me your thoughts and tell me if you want to signup. If enough people say "Yes" then I will run the game. If too many say "No, this is in bad taste" or the forum mods tell me not to do it, then the game will not happen. And I will run something completely different.

Locking the thread right after this is posted as I feel ballots for this should be silent and I can see discussion about this topic possibly turning offensive. I will add a countdown for these pms momentarily as I am not sure how long I should let people vote on this and or when is best for me to run a game

Above all things I encourage players to be good to one another and not be deliberately offensive.

AITP is a game where less discussion is better sometimes.

So my game is probably okay. Just everyone be sure to follow site rules and stuff. Speaking of rules, those will be in next post. Placing countdown here for now. Game time currently set for roughly 24 hours after I thought of doing this in discord

The Rules, Stolen from shaft.ed, TSQ, Mr. Stoofer, Flameaxe, Jdodge:

00. I reserve the right to edit these rules at any time should something truly unexpected occur.

01. All votes must be made bold. Unvoting is not required but I heavily prefer it. Any attempts at disguising your voting will be prohibited. If its treated as a vote and I think its a vote, its a vote!

02. A majority of votes is required to Execute a player. If there is an execution, no amount of bitching will prevent the execution from happening. I am a moderator, not a charity.

03. When you live, live well. Live long. Prosper. When you're dead, shut up. Don't post or even pm me. Lie in a grave/furnace/corpse pile. Rot!

04. The first day will have a 19 minute deadline. After the first execution is selected, I will reveal that players role and that player will choose the next player to be executed. The victim will have 10 minutes to make their execution choice. This process will continue until the Assassin is executed. Once the Assassin makes their execution choice, the game will either end in an Assassin Victory or a Kingdom Victory.

05. This isn't technically mafia. Its a variant of AITP. No player is allowed to talk about the game outside the game! I will mod kill anyone I find to be breaking this rule and they will auto lose the game!

06. No small, encrypted or invisible text. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts if you have power to do so. I will modkill you if you do this, and you will lose the game.

07. This is a game. Have fun and respect the other players. Don't do things that will result in site bans please.

08. If it seems like it should be illegal, it probably is. Considering the fact rules sometimes can't cover everything. Please use your common sense. PM me if you think something you are about to do could break the rules or possibly ruin the game.

09. I am human. If I mess up and make a mod error that results in you legitimately losing the game, then I will give you a technical auto-win at the end of the game to make up for it.

Yay I am not sure if I handled it right. In general I did not want to give entire team a loss if cat was throwing, but at same time I was breaking my own rules. So I feel best solution is I offer to give everyone the win if mena wants it too.

As mena does not want win, and Mena got screwed most by my actions. It is what it is

though I did over eat because of chills, so meh. Chills only ruined some sleep. I was colder when thermostat battery went bad last winter in middle of night! I went full Ice Cube!
