missing the bus worse than not eating and even though there is like a 'what can go wrong running as fast as can' element it is like, i have had to not miss the train a lot and nothing too terrible has happened from hurrying

eating now stops us from passing out later in the adventure, we can miss transport but will get there other way later

it's just a consequence thing i'm with ircher on that like downside bigger

CYOA's are crazy sometimes though. You think missing the bus is worse but for all we know we pass out from hunger before we even get to the bus stop

they also like to trick you into picking simple options with bad consequences by describing one as 'bolt as fast as you can' so you can see the obvious potential downside - though sometimes these punish you as well
