Before we go to the mines we should check if there's any quests we could fulfil by mining, or someone who we would like to gift a gemstone.
Have we decided which of the bachelors/bachelorettes we would like to befriend?

To the best of my knowledge, there's been very little discussion with regards to any long-term plans, and zero discussion about long-term advancement of social relationships.
Then I would like to have some discussion.
What do you guys say about befriending Abigail, Sam, and Sebastian, and courting Haley?

And I would love to focus on raising animals as much as we can, and perhaps also plant an orchard.
This is not due to economic reasons but just because it sounds fun.
We have the Copper Ore x20 and Stone x25 let’s craft a furnace.
Also, let’s craft a scarecrow.
Harvest and sell the parsnips. This should give us enough cash to buy the larger backpack.
Water everything.
+1
I don't think we should attempt to do everything at once. Catching a carp could be fine, but for me thw mines are more tempting and I would like to focus on them more today.
let's get as deep as we can, and continue to floor 15 even if our inventory fills up. Then head home and of we have time clear debris and chop trees on the way/at the farm, and sell everything we get from that.
This way we should probably afford the backpack tomorrow.
Pedit: you have to talk to them often, preferably once a day, and gove them gifts, preferably gofts they really like.

Sounds good to me!
Maybe we can prioritize socializing over clearing debris? Like how far have we gotten in the "Introductions" quest? I think we should be aiming to finish it by Spring 8.

Farren, are you going to use information from the wiki and/or past playthroughs?
Specifically I would like to know if we should rely on the wiki when choosing gifts for example.

Also maybe extend the deadline by a day or two? I think it would be fair to let others have some more time to add their opinion, since we are supposed to be playing together.

I like the first plan, I think. I would add between 3) and 4) to socialize for about an hour before we head to Cindertap, and then make sure we leave the forest with enough time to do crop management.

Okay here's my plan for the day (I will change it if anyone else drops in and posts something):
1. Drop Carp at Wizard's place.
2. Drop Spring Foraging Bundle at the Community Center.
3. Head over to Pierre's and sell some minerals and fish (but not anything donatable which we only have 1 or 2 of) so we have enough money to buy the following (in descending order of importance, if we still don't have enough money):
-10 parsnip seeds
-10 Tulip seeds
-5 Bean Starters
-5 cauliflower seeds
-5 jazz seeds
-5 kale seeds
4. Head back to the farm and plant ALL the seeds. Water them as well.
5. Head to mines, start floor 20, concentrate on loot until we have to go back.

Not a full day, but I'd like to open the geodes, donate everything we can to the museum, and bring some minerals and flowers to Stardrop Saloon. Then we can chat and gift everyone.

I am asking because it seems watering all our crops is now a much larger task than before, and while it's quite lucrative, I doubt it's a good idea to plant more crops without energy regeneration.

Question: Do you feel, as the one doing the actual playing, that it would require better equipment to go deeper in the mines? Or is our current equipment fine?
I basically want to get to deeper floors so we start having access to more iron ore. With iron ore we can eventually make sprinklers which will make crop management much easier.

Some ideas:
- forage as many berries as we can.
- continue getting wood, continue smelting copper. Eat berries to restore energy as needed.
- upgrade pickaxe at the smith.
- place 2 tappers on maple trees
- obviously, crop management. Eat berries to restore energy as needed.

Also, just in case we want to buy some stuff later on, I think we should craft the spring seeds recipe x2 times, and sell the seeds gained this way (seeds are worth more than ingredients, surprisingly).

You know what, fishing is probably more profitable at least short term. Let's go with the fish plan, and buy the coop when we make the money on a later date.

Azula (that's a real fire chicken imo)
Bunny (yes, I'd actually name a chicken "Bunny")

Fishing: we probably should have emptied our inventory when we passed through the farm. Oops. We only had about 50% space left, and that got filled pretty quickly; we ended up having to throw some things away.
Still, we made out pretty well. After sorting our fish and keeping one copy of anything we were missing, we ended up selling fish (and a Rare Disc that Gunther already had) for
2481G
.
We also found something like three rare books (two digging, one fishing), an Ornamental Fan, an Emerald (!), and a small variety of geodes.
Holy cow that's a lot of money from just fishing. I say we should fish more!

Do we have the recipe for Mayonnaise Machine unlocked?
If we do, we should craft one (assuming we have the ingredients, I don't remember them from the top of my mind).

Is it possible to set a daily chore of:
1. verifying the chickens have food
2. collecting eggs
3. emptying 2 mayo machines from previous day
4. placing eggs in mayo machine
5. sell the produced mayonnaise
(this would start tomorrow after you place 2 mayo machines in the coop today, and put the eggs into them)
Because I would like to do that, then we can start having a serious income from the chickens.
Furthermore I would like to spend the day fishing and selling all non-unique catch because it seems to be making us a lot of money. Also try to smelt as much iron as possible.

Oh and make sure all the melon seeds (as well as all the corn seeds) are planted on top of fertilizer. Unless we're doing remixed bundles. Are we doing remixed bundles?

Can we get some sort of overall status report? What we have planted, some possible long term goals, which activities make us a lot of money and which cost a lot of energy?
Just an overview of the situation in a single post to help decide on a course of action.
