Thank you for contributing absolutely nothing to the discussion whatsoever! :3
I must admit that I've been a bit inattentive to the thread, but what else was there to say? The dice idea was unpopular, and other than those on the plan, only redtail896 and I voted for it. I want to say that, with one more yes, it would have been sabotaged by just you.

Fishythefish wrote:@SC: why did you vote yes? Particularly as you posted that you thought Drench looked bad.
The randomization was inherently flawed, as has been pointed out, but I don't think that puts a big dent in things for him.

Let's
send plans to redtail896, Lowell, Pittbunny, and myself.

Did I say I have a strong scum read on Drench?
Fishythefish wrote:Why did you pick who you picked for the plans?
I trust myself, I mostly agree with redtail896's thinking, and I'm leaning town on Lowell (OMG! Front page news!) and Pittbunny.
Pittbunny wrote:As much as I like the idea of his plan (due to Drench-reasoning), I can't say that I'll agree with anything other than a total randomization D1.
Moospiker wrote:I don't like this, SC. We all agreed on randomization. Is no-one going to go with our plans? I am once again voting no.

RANDOMIZATION.
We have info based on who voted how for when Drench was leader; therefore, we are not randomizing again.

I don't think the logic makes as much sense as you think. That I might not have strictly kept to one scum on the plans if I am scum is sound, but I legitimately thought the plans were supposed to go out to four people. That I haven't paid as much attention to this thread as everybody would like should point to this.

Saying you know I must be a spy now or that you're glad I wasn't on the mission is a tad ridiculous for a little slip-up like that.
Even taking that into account, what made redtail896 the least likely to be resistance in your opinion? Something had to tilt the scales some way or the other.

I like the idea of sticking the same people plus me on.

I don't think we want four brand new people in 6:4. Assuming everybody that could've sabotaged the second mission did so, we're certain to throw other Empire on the mission if we do that.

For obvious reasons I'd like to be nominated for again; failing that, Lowell is my best Resistance read of the people I went on the mission with.

I
DON'T
want Pittbunny on, especially if mastermind sent (and thus, I was about to send) a 2:2 split. Scum doesn't get private talk, so that would make #154 look like announcing her plans to the partner of hers. redtail896 makes the most sense from my perspective.

I would say danakillsu, Fishythefish, mastermind, and either Lowell or me. danakillsu probably trusts himself, Fishythefish is a strong Resistance read, mastermind can't be faulted for his selection, and Lowell is the one I support sticking in my place in case of a 3:1 split.

Mechanics contribution. I'm provided plenty of justification for my reasonings, have not been refuted on them, and don't trust the fact that the three of you sound almost exactly the same in opinion. At least one of you has to be pantomiming the others, and I'm still distrustful of your B1 actions. I'm fine if you guys want me off the base-capture aspect of the game, as there are still other resistance players left (provided they get found, anyway), but I care plenty, which is why I'll continue to post both opinions and analysis of mechanics.

I'd note that my overanalyzing, as Lowell puts it, makes me distinctly different from the three of you, who have more or less pushed normal player analysis (if at all). I'd question why a person in such a position would lay low B1 and sabotage B2, especially if doing so would lead to a natural ostricism. WIFOM that if you want, but I claim it to be a valid point. It seems silly that I would 1. Overanalyze , and then 2. Pick a play that from an analytical perspective would lead to my downfall. I'm not a jester, guys.
This is closer to something I wanted. Thank you.

I have noticed that redtai896 and I are voicing similar opinions, but not how Lowell is voicing similar opinions of the two of us. Could you post/link to some examples?

In other news, I'm starting to think that suggesting danakillsu as part of the plans just because he can trust himself was a bad idea. I also don't feel comfortable with sending two people on the Base 2 plans to Base 3 since we had a sabotage on the Base 2 plans. Yes, I know I said Lowell was the best Resistance read of the three other than me. I'm thinking in practice here.

I'm still wary of two people sent to attack base 2 being allowed to attack base 3. Depending on how this plays out, I may have to settle for redtail896 or Pittbunny and I going on the plans. There is no way in hell I'm voting for sending mastermind or danakillsu after the base.

I say if there's no indication of a lonely saboteur, we at least consider sending the same five again. If a lone saboteur indicates his presence, I would say it's most likely danakillsu, followed by Drench.

Moospiker had that weird thing where he said town, then changed it to scum, which might be meant as some sort of communication to his scumpals. fishy wants to put Moospiker on the plans instead of me, or keep it the same, which we already determined was not a good idea, since Empire seems to want us to keep the plan we have for the next mission. And I wouldn't be surprised if CSL and mastermind were the other two. Therefore, I would want: Drench, SC, me, Lowell, and Pittbunny/Redtail.
I suggested that, assuming no green cards, we at least consider sending the same group again. Why am I in the clear while Fishy is suspect?

My four scum: Moospiker, CSL, mastermind, Pittbunny
  • I don't remember ever having a Resistance read on Moospiker. He suggested randomization on the second vote after we had information and his misunderstanding in #23 looks feigned.
  • Neither CSL nor his predecessor, RealityFan, seem to have posted much of use. I can't get a clear read of who they think is what when I look at them in isolation, and CSL hasn't attacked anybody since June 23. So, yeah. I'm pretty sure the active lurker is Empire.
  • mastermind has a similar if not worse problem with posting useful content and seems to post sporadically. His last seven posts were on June 5, 11, 16, 18, 22, and 28 and yesterday.
  • Pittbunny is actually the one in my four on which I'm least confident in my read, and I believe I've wavered here and there. The two main things she has going against her is that she, like Moospiker, initially refused to do anything other than randomization on Base 1, despite information coming out after the first vote and her post #23 in isolation with her suggestion that mathematically almost has to put Empire on the plans. Between those two posts, she's OK, as she is in most of page 2 in iso.
My proposed plan holders in preferential order are me, Fishythefish, Lowell, redtail896, and Drench. I'll still vote yes if danakillsu and/or PB is substituted for RT and/or Drench, though.
  • I know what I am.
  • Fishythefish has been one of the most level-headed players in the game, and I like his train of thought.
  • I think Lowell's surprise that most people think he is town when he is usually scummy is genuine.
  • I don't think I've suspected redtail896, but she
    REALLY
doesn't stand out to me either way.
  • I'm leaning town on Drench at the moment, but his long disappearance is unexplained. He has a history of this in general, which is probably why I'm giving him a bit of leniency.

I don't trust you on the plans, Moospiker. Sorry.

I felt that it was not inherently flawed since it consisted of players I had a somewhat good read on.

danakillsu was my wildcard preference over Pittbunny for reasons that should be obvious if you look at the post in question. However, now that Drench is failing to vote, I'm more comfortable with him switching out than sticking to the Base 4 plan again. Had he voted either way, I would still consider it somewhat decent.

For the love of God, Lowell, you put Moo on there and I'm voting against the plan. He's my strongest Empire read.

Of Lowell and the next three Leader candidates, who do you think is scummy?

I ask this because scum won't delegate a no-scum set at this stage; ergo, your chances of even POSSIBLY getting a pure-town configuration are dependent on who is doing the nominating. The important part of this is that our window of 'success' may be stealthily limited, especially if the end-candidates are scum. What I am trying to get at is: Place your votes carefully. Do not just consider this set of choices but the potential leaders should this vote fail, and consider when your options for success may be open. The fact that Yabba hasn't ended the game yet implies that at least one player out of Lowell, CSL, Drench, and SC is town, so please try to take all factors in to consideration before, as SC is demonstrating, dropping a blanket 'no' without some sort of followup reasoning.
I think CSL is scum and wouldn't be surprised to learn that Drench is scum.

Oh, and I gave my reasoning before I voted. Moospiker is my strongest Empire read and I'm not letting him on any plans.

I'll favor a nomination by Drench or his replacee if I have to, but I'm really uncomfortable about him right now. Forced to pick four Resistance players other than myself, I would say FishytheFish, Lowell, redtail89, and danakillsu.
