As for this whole possible cheating thing, I think we should let it go. There is almost always a way to cheat in games. I hope that everyone in this game wouldn't even try to manipulate their "roll" in a way like that.

The fact that you so instantly trust Reck and act assuming the worst actually looks pretty damn scummy, if I do say so myself. If anyone gets a Hermit asking for a Shadow, I recommend Cybele as your target.

I'm offering the same deal to Cybele. If I'm proved neutral, you flip. If I'm not, I'm pretty much confirmed shadow and your actions are justified. Deal?

Note to hunters: notice that this deal wouldn't really hurt hunters. For a hunter, this is either catch a shadow right now, or flip, not really endangering themselves and gaining the trust of the rest of the hunters. Now anyone that attacks them is pretty much outed as shadow. What's the downside to this deal if you're a hunter?

ITT KageLord claims Shadow.

That makes 0 sense. By following mallow, unless there is someone else there randomly, I am forced to attack him. If I'm his buddy, that means I'll be killing him (and I attacked him way before, when bussing would be completely useless, lest we forget).

Reck, I'll offer you the same deal again. If I flip myself and turn out not to be Shadow, you flip too (note: for this to work, everyone else would have to agree to attack Reck if he backs out after I flip). What have you got to lose if I am Shadow?

If you think I'm Shadow, please give a reason why. Also try to explain away my very early attack on mallow as bussing (note: this would be equivalent to someone voting their scumbuddy early day 1 and posting a case on him, which I've never heard of).

Right now, I would guess bird first and Reck second. The main reason for the Reck guess was his weirdass comments at the beginning of the game. But, the reason for bird I feel is much stronger. Mallow claimed he somehow knew bird was Allie (yet for some reason claimed he should help him, even though I see no reason why Allie would want to help flipped Shadow there). Knowing mallow from other games, this seems like a classically transparent mallow ploy to get us to disregard bird while also trying to get us to look over bird maybe helping him later.

Well, technically, all everyone knows is that me, bird, and Reck are three of Unknown, George, Allie, and Charles. By the end of my turn, that will be narrowed down quite a bit, assuming bird still plans to flip on his turn.

Um... idk about that. I mean if you can attack mallow, by all means do it since he's flipped Shadow. But if you're attacking me or Reck, I think you should just flip (unless I'm misinterpreting something, you don't have to attack twice to flip). It's still not confirmed that either of us are Shadows until either we flip or mallow dies and Hunters don't win. Besides, if I'm going to flip on the turn after yours anyway, there's really no point to attacking me, right (and if I don't flip, there's no reason for everyone not to attack me)?

I would suggest though that we force Reck to flip on his next turn as well or group attack him (if he doesn't flip, he's obviously Shadow since George and Allie have no reason not to flip).

If you had waited and asked instead of being an impatient prick, you would have known I already agreed. You know you don't have to attack every turn right? DERP.

It's far from optimal strategy to attack a probable ally. That's like England bombing the US before the US entered WWI and then asking for their help. Unfortunately, the simile ends there since it's still in my best interest to help you to the end (while Cybele and Daniel can only win by beating both you and mallow).

I think we've earned it. We played well, I managed to stay under the radar for awhile, and we managed to kill off Emi without raising any suspicion. I killed Cybele's buddy and he still didn't suspect me. Mallow played the part of drawing attention very well. Now we're at the end of the game and actually in a position to win quite easily.

We deserve this.

On the plus side, Reck apparently did deceive Cybele (as far as we know). On the minus side, I called him on being Unknown in one of my first posts of the game. Not only his alignment, but his actual character too, when everyone was alive. The main reason I didn't pursue it was that I didn't want to create any waves (clearly that didn't work somehow).

What tipped me off was how Reck said he wasn't attacking earlier (which ones are hunters? f*ck. no attack.). Really made him sound like shadow, which most people agreed on until Cybele gave him a hermit and said anyone who attacks him will be recompensed by Cybele (lol that came back to bite Cybele huh?). At that point, it was pretty obvious Cybele gave him a card targeted at shadows and I figured, given my earlier read, Reck had to be Unknown.

Also his later insistence on me being shadow didn't help him in my eyes. If jim hadn't immediately said he got neutral from hermits on me I might have been able to get more proof out of him. Jim might have done it on purpose though. It also didn't help that Reck said in his 29 that flipping wouldn't help him and he said he had no use for the Spear of Longinus earlier. And the icing on the cake is when Reck says "Mallow is my boy now. Don't f*ck with him."

The decision is yours anyway. You and I are guaranteed the win at this point since you must attack either Cybele or mallow and you will do 2-5 damage.

By the way, why was there no voiced concern about me taking the solo win or win with just KageLord from when I claimed until the final turn? I was surprised by how satisfied everyone seemed to just assume that I was going to play along and help you win, especially when I declared neutrality when I realized the game wasn't as cut and dry as I thought it was. I would have expected my winning on my own to be enough of a threat that measures would be taken so that I wouldn't have so many potential options for the game winning kill.

Well for me that answer's simple. I was happy with you killing anyone but me. I was actually worried that you might land in my area and try to kill me since I only had 3 HP left.

I had actually asked dram much earlier on whether a neutral win meant the game ended or not, so I knew from then that I would be happy with anyone winning as long as I was still alive. That's why I tried not to make waves with anyone (and when it was 2 shadow vs. 1 hunter agreed to help mallow's side if he didn't attack me the turn before I healed). Good game anyway.

I forgot to make an exception for you, as I wasn't surprised that you weren't acting very afraid of my taking a free win.

Though I do have to wonder, why did you not heal yourself the turn after everyone flipped? It would have put you out of my reach without outside assistance (and I don't see any reason why anyone would attack you if you healed), and therefore would increase your chances of winning.

I did heal myself. Then Reck immediately did 5 damage to me again.
