He's just been joking around and nothing much has happened yet, so I don't have an opinion on him. I didn't like Brie's reaction to xyzzy's post but that could've come from either alignment

In post 62, Maestro wrote:Idk BS, it really seems like you counter Brie’s *QUESTIIN* (which I’m sure was the intended focal point of their post) with a clarification about a lean-read they have on me, which to me feels like you deflecting from the question itself
Regeardleas of whether or not you had an opinion, your response wasn’t about “I have no opinion”, it was about “ok, you asked this question but I’d rather talk about this off-handed lean-read you stayed at the end of your post”
And that reads as deflection to me
Prove Me Wrong . JPEG
You're talking about 2 different things now and combining them together.

In my opinion you can't possibly tell this early in a game. Posts can be faked.
feels bleh
like you're discouraging discussion
Since when is asking questions discouraging discussion?
I did want to know how she could tell by the posts.
FTR I'm more inclined to think Maestro is town.
If you think Maestro is town, why'd you say that you can't tell someone's alignment this early in the game?
And this is the part where a question came into my head. Nothing was happening in the game so I reread everything and thought that this might spark some conversation.

I just noticed that Invisibilty has been active in other threads since his last post here. It looks like he really is scum and he's waiting for the heat to die down on him

Scum would never self hammer. But town wouldn't really self hammer either.
This game game has actually come at a bad time for me. I've got a whole lot of work piled on top of me this week, and I'm not sure how well I can keep up. I'd replaceout, but I know replacement can mess everything up, and I don't want to do that either. Thoughts?
I think I remember voting for myself once and putting myself to L-1 to prove that I was town
he honestly didn't even register in my mind as a person who is in this game until I read this post, read the player list,
and
read his ISO, but no
That's why I'm a little worried about him. It would suck if he lurked throughout the entire game and then turned out to be scum and we didn't pay any attention to him

Are you serious right now? You seriously think there's no way to get people to believe in you besides posting the PM? That's so.... ugh. Anyway, for some reason, I think I believe that you're town now. Its obvious that you're really new to this and the awkward posts you've been writing make me feel like you just made mistakes and people jumped all over. If you are town then I guess I need to reread everyone else's posts again

I'm not sure who to vote for anymore. I don't like TheBrie's posts and feel like she might be scum but I townread xyzzy and maestro and they have more experience than me so they're probably better at reading people. Its tough to tell if invisibility's posts are really experience or scum blunders.

TheBrie has parked her vote since RVS and hasn't expressed reads on anyone except Maestro. Well, she did say that she doesn't think invisibilty and I are a scum team, but she hasn't said if she thinks either of us are scum individually. I don't get the impression that she cares about finding scum

I'm pretty sure that TheBrie is scum. We should've lynched her yesterday. I already explained the reasons why I didn't like her posts before, but then she did something that made me suspect her even more. If you look through her ISO you'll see that she didn't express any scum reads on anyone.
When the deadline was closing in she made this post.
Well five and a half. I'll be back home before then. Not that it makes much difference. Invis is dead either way, as where's no way votes are shifting off there. And objectively he is the worst player in the game.
I looked at a couple of completed town games, and they seemed better than this. His questions were better.
Intent to hammer before deadline.
Notice that nowhere in this post does she say that she actually scum reads Invisibilty.
In post 121, TheBrie wrote:Beat you to it. Mind hasn't changed while I was out. (not that supervising tween girls learning a play gives anytime to think)
VOTE: Invisibilty
But then she votes for him anyway. She voted for him because he was "the worst player here", not because she found him scummy. There's no reason for a member of the town to do that. Bad doesn't equal scum. It looks like scum coming up with a poor justification for those vote. That's why I said that I thought we might've lynched the wrong person after I saw Brie's vote.
Hey, If I known Invis was going to flip town, I would have said so to get the town cred as Invis was dead without my vote. I thought he was scum.
You never gave off the impression that you bought Invisibilty was scum at any point in the day and then as soon as the deadline came you suddenly thought he was scum? I don't buy it

In post 143, TheBrie wrote:Why do people have to be asleep while I'm awake?
Zyzzy, other than the randomness, do you have an actual read on HeWhoSwims?
If you weren't voting him, I probably would. He's done nothing controversial. His scum lean on Invi was right in line with popular, 'everyone knows' Maestro is town, he flopped around on me, had no opinion on BlackStar or Xyzzy, but said he would get one later. And copied my argument against Invi and Black as a pair.
I have a feeling about who Brie's partner could be, but I'm much more certain about her so I think we should lynch her

In post 146, xyzzy wrote:106 is HeWhoSwims' only real post that actually says anything, and it's really not very substantial. I could definitely see him as lurker scum.
BlackStar, who are you thinking of? there's no reason to not just tell us who else you're scumreading.
Originally, I thought that it had to be Hewhoswims. He parked his vote early on and didn't really try to progress the game at all. But after TheBrie made this post, I thought it seemed very unlikely.
TheBrie wrote:Why do people have to be asleep while I'm awake?

This is lovers mafia, so if Brie was bussing Hewhoswims, the scum team would lose automatically. I don't think they would throw the game like that and I also don't think Brie would make such a risky bluff. I can't even say its possible that she just didn't know that she'd lose if her partner died, because that would've been in her role pm. So this means that the two of them probably aren't partners. That meant that scum can only be you or Maestro. Maestro's posts feel more authentic and I believe that he really does have a town mindset. Your content is fluffier in comparison to his. So you're the most likely candidate for TheBrie's partner. I'm like 90% sure TheBrie is scum though, so I still prefer to lynch her over you

What makes it wrong though? I don;t understand why you would bus someone but not try to get them lynched. Isn't that the whole point of bussing? To get town cred for getting your scum partner lynched?
pedit: Lol, so as soon as I lay out a case for you being scum you suddenly believe I'm scum?

Bussing of any form wouldn't help you out in this game because if you cast suspicion on your buddy and they actually do get lynched then its game over. I don't see why anyone would take that unnecessary risk. It makes much more sense to just push mislynches. You haven't explained any positives to bussing here and I don't see how 148 could be read that way

Ohhh, now I see what you're saying. The huge flaw in your argument is that I never tried to get hewhoswims lynched or make a big case against him. All I said is that he hasn't done much. So there's really no way you could read that post as me saying "theses are people I couldn't be scum with". I can see why you could make that argument against me for thebrie but that doesn't make sense for hewhoswims

You keep saying hewhoswims is obviously scum but you're not laying out the specific reasons why you think that. He hasn't acted townie, but he also hasn't done much in general. I just don't feel reasonably certain that he's the right guy. I've already given reasons why xyzzy could be TheBrie's partner, but I'm not certain about that either. I don't see why we need to worry about the partner when we can just lunch Brie. And I don't like your ultimatum. So tell me why you think hewhoswims is the right lynch
You've said about as much on Brie as I have on HWS, so don't turn this around on me
Tell me why you refuse to compromise on HWS, given that I'm the one you need to convince, not the other way around. You already have your vote down and locked into this little three-way you all started earlier, and that's your problem. As I've already said: if you and I are the only ones around, you need to work with me or I can and will assume you're coming from a Scum place with your stubborn fixation on Brie and your refusal to lynch HWS.
I don't refuse to compromise and you haven't said anything about why you think he's scum. If you gave me reasons why you think he's scum besides "he's obviously scum", I'd consider it
