Okay, this post caught my eye right away. I'm not really sure if it is the wording, or anything else, but it just seems so

, esp for such an early game stage. It almost seems like Hyper is trying to keep his options open so he can backtrack later. So if the name claiming helps, he can always say he claimed his name right away, to be pro-town, etc. But if the plan didn't work and for example made Myko look scummy, he can always backtrack and say that he questioned his method from the beginning. I don't know. It's just like saying "Okay, I'll go ahead with plan A but I don't see the point", while in mafia, you're

This post is shit and you should feel ashamed for posting such an anti-town post (assuming you're town, of course ). How the hell is trying to get the game moving and pressuring on people = scummy and trying to get a freaking quicklynch? People aren't stupid to just sheep and quicklynch. The sample size of games where there are 4 players required to lynch is either small or nonexistent considering this forum is just over a week old. Anyone should be aware of the age of this forum just by looking at the numbers of games there are when they navigate here. If you know of a place where we can look at 7-player games and get a good idea of what strategies have been employed in this setting, speak up.

No, before this forum existed, the open games contained the small games. They are neither "small" nor "nonexistent".

But let’s give you examples:

On page 4? Probably the former. If you are legitimately going to argue that we've had enough discussion on page 4 to be putting someone at L-1, you should probably head over to EpicMafia. Games there usually last about 10 minutes and are basically "follow the cop" which is presumably more your style.

I can go through more. Waste more of my time. But if you're not getting it now, you're not going to likely get it after 50 examples either. KoC - I love how you telling me that L-1 by page 4 is not possible, etc, and me trying to prove to you that in fact applying pressure early on can get conversation and interactions going turn into me using "empty numbers and metagame rather than anything concrete in this game".

But I actually agree with the main paragraph. 1x Jailkeeper seems underpowered, and it seems made up so it doesn't really attract people's attention by claiming a strong PR. Also, a 1X Jailkeeper would mean a hell of powered town, or as Myko said, a town each with 1 shot abilites. And I don't buy a Jailekeeper in there with the other PR because in a game that can end in 2 days, having a town Jailkeeper means that it can backfire by blocking a strong PR. Any PR that can roleblock in a small setup makes the game very swingy.

Hyper has been doing nothing but hardcore lurking and nitpicking here and there. He has an OMGUS vote on me, admits it's OMGUS, and keeps it there. He super dodged my question in the beginning of the game, and he has showed not the least bit of interest in scumhunting.

A big thank you to farside22, who despite many difficult situations was able to make time for this game. I truly appreciate the fact that you did this for me. Also, congratulations on being the best scumhunter in the town. Had you had more time, and had your life been less crazy, I am fairly sure that this game would have ended in a town win or at the very least gone to 3p LyLo.

Agree with Myko. As happy as I am for winning, this game was very VERY scumsided.

You need a crapload of PRs on the town to balance out 2 scums in a 7p game. I really expected something like a doctor, tracker, BP, or even a cop.

And limiting nightkills to only 2/5 doesn't really do much either. Esp when you can just no kill.

If the mafia buddy up, even just a little subtly, they can pretty much take over town.
