In all seriousness, I wouldn't say I'm particularly embarrassed by my play this game, but I'm definitely not happy with it. All of those attempts to off myself were genuine desire to serve as an extra elimination and take me out of the mislim pool.

The explanations in response to my reappearance looked genuine on a reread. I did originally think that the rapid-fire posting was panicked flailing, but I just let it slide for reasons even I don't know at this point. Like I said, not happy with my play.

Side note: I was 2/2 on player guesses, as much as one was so much not a guess that I didn't even bother writing it down in my notes PT due to how obvious the player was to me. Avoiding player meta in Anon games is easy, just be unable to tell who anyone is.

I think Aya greenlighting a Reisen elimination depends on whether or not Aya decides she trusts the remaining two townies to eliminate the non-Reisen Mafia without her help. Knowing who she is, I could see her wanting to make sure she's around for the elimination of the non-Reisen Mafia and leaving Reisen for the other two to clean up.

Particularly if she figures Kaguya out, because Kaguya's too good at pressure to feel comfortable counting on both Yuuka and Kagerou to stand firm on their own.

I so deeply regret not calling Kaguya out more for flavor spec, given I was in the unique position of being a huge Touhou nerd and also playing as a character that GiF had to make from scratch. I should have pushed back harder after semi-casually pointing it out once and getting ignored entirely.

It might just be me reading people/the room incorrectly, but I feel like Mafia players tend to place more social weight on their own words/actions than actually exists in the game states they're in. Part of good team play is recognizing where you stand socially in the grand scheme of the game and framing your content accordingly. Of course, this is not to say one should simply accept a secondary role and live with it instead of striving to obtain a primary role, but posting like you have a primary role when you don't comes off really poorly.

Reisen made the right hedge but with yuuka position and the way that Kaguya was hard pushing Kagerou it's gonna be difficult.

Nah, Reisen wins by crossvoting Yuuka and getting a No Elimination after deadline hits without Kagerou stopping by long enough to vote.

There's something to be said for wanting to be the one in control of making the ultimate decision, I suppose.

I do also feel like, once one has reached F3, they've invariably slogged through so much shit in-game that knowing there's nothing after is calming in its own way. Freedom is only a vote tag away. The game has been played well enough by both sides to have reached that point in the first place that there's a respect to be had for everyone still alive that also went through everything you went through, and even if you pick wrong, oh well, it's just a game in the end anyway.

I think I would enjoy being in F3s if I was good enough to get to them.

I do not know who is inside the Kagerou fursuit and I hold nothing against them as a person but in my 22 years of playing social deduction games their Day 5 and 6 openers are by far the funniest consecutive-day combination of openers I have ever seen
