If people are trying to pull that crap, I tend to agree with you, it's simply not worth your time trying to guess what's going on in the remote.
My solution is just to keep running rnd. Roughly half or more of their traps do nothing if you access them from rnd, so you can run with far less fear of bullshit happening. The issue is, playing against that deck is incredibly tedious, since you're mostly going run once, draw cards, slowly nibble away more cards from their rnd, hit a trap, draw up, hit an agenda, draw up... if you play slowly and carefully, and pressure rnd, it's really hard to lose the matchup. But it's boring as hell. 25 minute games where you're seeing 1 new card a turn... zzzzzz
If anyone wants a runner deck that feels really different, I've legit been having more fun with this deck than any deck I've played in a long time:

It has a very unusual tempo, you spend a lot of time setting up, then you find an opening, and just have these huge devestating turns. Makes you feel like a boss.

IDK, you can just play on OCTGN or Jinteki. Interface remains a little tricky. The core gameplay hasn't really changed, and everyone's playing random t3 decks, so you wont just get butcher-shopped or RPed all day, so I don't think you need to be super familiar with the meta or anything.(10:50:24 PM) xcaykex: GODDAMNIT I DONT WANNA GET RID OF MY TENTACLE RAPE PORN
