Not going to stick around and become even more of a prick over time. I think Mena was obvious today, Skitter was surprising less because I like her posting but more because I felt Day 3 was a free win. I get that she wanted to play it safe but eh.
Skitter definitely had a lot of rough spots imo but fooling me specifically isn't the point of the game and she definitely put this team on her back and is carrying it to the mountaintop. Maybe we could have won this in 4 way after I 1v1 Mena but I doubt I force it through over Skitter's objections, and it's a moot point.

IDK, Iverson's playstyle was very not suited for the gamestate and by the time I came around I was determined not to put anymore effort into this game than I had to. I wound up replacing out before I just got extremely vicious on a personal level but I would be lying if I said I wasn't relieved to not be playing mafia anymore period, even an hour of the game a day was just...not something I wanted to do. Dunno what petapan was afraid of with me reading the game though given my towngame is nothing to write home about or be afraid of in any world.

I don't want to take away from what Skitter accomplished this game, which is quite a lot-and in the end I conceded the game if she was scum-but she was definitely catchable with what she had posted and I think it'd be doing yourself a disservice to phone it in on the basis that her play was perfect minus post 6. This was not true.

I think that you give me too much credit and yourself not enough. I would not classify you as a specifically talented scumplayer but your mastery of the fundamentals are second to none and I wasn't even going to try to read into your associations on the offchance I guessed correctly.
I forgot to answer notscience but that was basically the answer I would have given him.

not by me, which is all i was trying to say. certainly by someone else (I mean, Nacho, Infinity, you all had plenty to say early on about that slot)
I mean, if we're talking about the past which is unchangeable, then OK, but that's a rather fatalistic mindset and not something actionable to carry forward with you.
Again skitter has played this incredibly well, outplayed both of us, and it is definitely worth celebrating.

I don't think even a world where my heart was fully in the game and in which I did put in 40 hours rereading the game would change the result, either, though I am apologetic to everyone else that we did not get to see it for its own sake.

They got better over time but a lot of the credit for that goes to Cakez, who is playing the game of his life. I powertunneled every player but Bulge and Kismet at some point-which, while that intentional hyperaggression and attacking mindset over something more nuanced and holistic is a hallmark of the account, the credit definitely comes more from Cakez and I was still not getting skitter anytime soon after she declined to take the win Day 3. I think that not doing so was a mistake, but it's slight at worst, debatably isn't one at all, and I understand why she did so.

I think she wins even without the quickhammer by simply telling Kismet she is confident in me and essentially only doing basic maintenance from there.
I don't think splitting hairs over a 99% chance of winning versus a 97% chance is worthwhile, though. Skitter's play and how hard she has carried this is definitely something to celebrate this game.

I think the angle that she was worried about bussing would be flawed, sometimes you want to pull that theater just for its own sake though rather than because you actually don't want the partner flip. That was more my concern with Infinity and why I didn't townread her end of day.
I thought her play Day 2/early Day 3 was insanely town in conjunction with the interactions with L+G that I cited.

As usual I am extremely displeased with my play this game from multiple qualitative angles, and incredibly displeased that I failed to rein in my more vicious side which is why I replaced out. Any respect for my towngame continues to be unwarranted.
I don't want a response to that, I'm not here to be consoled or reassured. Perpetual annoyance with not making the cut as town is both my norm and something necessary for whenever I do feel like playing again.

I should not have made the comment and felt it severe enough that I essentially forcereplaced myself. I don't have anything further to say on the subject, and don't have any desire to hash out its contents either in public or in private.

I did not at all expect to go from towning up the slot+winning an extra turn to P5R-style Baton Passing and giving Morning a Reads++ bonus, Christ Almighty
Maybe it was a mistake to not hard push Iverson or Cakes on the previous day, maybe Mom just really couldnt be trusted to perform a quick elim, I do not know but it's got things going for it and I can more easily accept it than any of you three being scum rn
i am so dead if this is correct though (^∀^) FUCK
I CAN SEE IT
it's possible
Also quite possible i have just a strange distorted view of the game and im overlooking something completely different like infinity or notsci being scum and everybody's going to clown on me later but I can accept that because I think this is already a really dire scenario as it is
Fuck
okay who PM'd her the scumteam
not only are her bulging muscles made entirely of extra brain tissue this is the bravest bat i have ever seen in my life

This game is incredibly hard though and while I think Morning is a lot more town than I ever was, it's a miracle my slot was ever townread to begin with and I really don't blame Infinity

I just want to note that me/petapan have spent the last 30 minutes in disbelief. This is by far the most seeming omniscient posting I have ever seen and fundamentally while I want to be impressed instead I'm just confused.
Basically notmafia quoted prism a shit ton compared to the entire rest of the game
and LG quoted infinity more than most everyone else from what I saw
ninja-
all good its my day off
Imagine a world where this game does not come down to a duel of two players both having the game of their lives
But instead is just notscience yet again getting dunked on by Not_Mafia. I love to see it, the Miltank Man tapdancing all over this town's hopes and dreams

I can think of no better ending than Not_Mafia successfully parrying me/Nacho, convincing notsci & others to go elsewhere, and then subsequently sealing the game with his interactions post-flip

Skitter may be playing out of her mind but I'm voting NM for scum MVP. Skitter is putting on a masterclass just for the sake of it but Not_Mafia just effortlessly tapdanced all over this town of clodpoles and peaced

Skitter and DC are on the ropes. Morning Tweet has proven too much for DC, and Skitter's fortress is beginning to crumble. She knows she can win, if only she had the time, but she doesn't. Is it all over? Her energy wanes, her eyes struggle to stay open, her hair sticks to her cheek as it is drenched in the sweat of a dying woman.
Wait, what's that light shining from above? Has deliverance finally come? Who will save the scumteam when they need him the most?

The Miltank Man has returned. DC, on the brink of collapse, feels a great burden lifted and lets out a huge sigh of relief. Skitter, once on the edge of anxious breakdown, cracks a smile of ease and comfort. She can rest easy now-the hero has arrived.
