The cold of the night still grips the land when the town reforms at the square to see what the results of the night were. Ghostwriter is not among your ranks. Upon arriving at his house, again you find bullet holes redecorating the front of his home. Entering the home, you find not a body, but a blood trail. In this bedroom, you find the body of Ghostwriter. Apparently after being gunned down by a drive by, he crawled to his bedroom only to be welcomed by a shotgun. Both wounds would have killed him alone. Searching his house, you discover that his mind was weak and was easily recruited into the cult.

Could've lost majority tonight if the kills had been different, but at least it slowed the cult down. Cult could gain majority tomorrow if we don't find any of them today or tonight, but with two killing roles in play, I think there's still a good chance of bringing it down.

Partner-hunting really should help us find those first two, though. Looking over GW's Day 2 posts, he didn't really defend anyone who's still alive other than PP. (Mostly attacking FoO and dahen, with Oman thrown in at the end) If we assume that he wasn't trying to push for a last-minute lynch of the leader, and he wouldn't call out the leader so early (Plus I think PP's strategy is too risky for CR anyway), that leaves Xtox, Imat, and BM.

FoO... a lot of OMG, a lot of lurker stuff early in Day 1. Pretty heavy on GSGold (Now BM), but there was some pretty interesting back-and-forth with Reyo too- listing them as a major contributor and one of the most townie. And there's the list of suspicion on 546, but where a partner would wind up in that is so WIFOM it hurts.

Reyo/Imat wound up in both those, which is interesting. I'll throw an

Well, Norinel was my top suspect yesterday, but I'd like to check for connections since we hit scum with FoO yesterday before voting.

Do we know if GW was recruited this night or the night before?

Will a killed player show up as a cult recruit if the recruit attempt took place the same night as the killing?

Here is an example of how recruiting works.

Person A was recruited Night 1, the actual recruiting does not take place until the Day starts. So if Person A is recruited Night One, but was killed in the same night. Person A would be shown as a townie in the kill scene, because the actual recruitment did not take place yet. This works the same for investigations.

So GW was recruited N1.

If there is another cult recruit, they were recruited last night.

We have a better chance of finding the cult recruiter (looking who might have been tied to GW), or finding FoO's partner.

I am tempted to say FoO's partner is xreyox(Imat) because early in the game when FoO wasn't being helpful, reyo was the one who got him talking, sort of pressuring him but not voting him. I haven't looked back though. This is just off what I remember.

I am also tempted to say Norinel is the cult recruiter... only because I feel Imat is the scum partner, and I am still suspicious of Norinel. Although Norinel's last post was a good one, and insightful, I think. I will have to go back and look at how different people interacted with GW, to have a better idea of this.

Erm not as such. The Cop-claim was a gambit, which didnt really work, although in a sense it did...

Although i am a little confused. Why would the scum, with 3 claimed power roles, decide to NK someone completely different? I mean, what circumstance could possibly facilitate that?
A Cop, Vig and Doc are a pretty strong set, and even with 1 of those claims as bogus, its still hard to see neither of the other two being killed. Now Xtoxm is totally confirmed, and i know im town. That leaves Oman, who im slightly more suspicious of now. Its possible that he chose to kill someone else, because killing a power role would spark some doubt about his claim.

Again, I ask for a day, and you give me nothing. I thank you BM for your incredible Hunting prowess. Unfortunately you failed to notice one minor detail. Rey asked to be replaced during the night. So, even if Rey/I had a night ability, Rey had the chance to give any choice before leaving. So saying I'm Scum because there weren't two kills and I hadn't read yet is ridiculous, much worse than your usual ability.

I'll continue a certain line of thought later, after I finish reading, to make sure I get all of the information at my disposal correct.
