I've seen or played a bunch of multiball normals that were fine in the realm of balance/swing. This was, of course, when there were more reviewers to go around.
My understanding is the consensus needs to be on a town:scum1:scum2 EV ratio of 33:33:33 or 50:25:25. It's possible to balance toward either.

Multiball minis are fucking terrible dude imo.
SKs ok sure fine but Multiball shouldn't ever be a thing especially in 13 player games.
No one was even running Multiball normal minis to begin with so like, there's 0 problem there.

except the open thread had millions of multiball games.
More multiball mini opens have been ran for awhile then multiball minis.
"stop encouraging bad game design" is kinda joke except it isn't because in the normal queue its expected that the game design be "good" (and the fact that normals have good design is a joke but thats a different story for a different time)
In the open queue, ok fine.

A. Implo most likely will not want to have a role that nullifies the Miller. He doesn't want Godfathers in queue but wants Millers and he talked about why somewhere in this thread.
B. I'm pretty sure in normal games Cops get Town or Mafia and that only comes up in Multiball games but even then I still think its Town or Mafia but not 100% on this.

Actually so the above setup I'm just going to post here, because quite frankly, I don't think its fun enough to warrant being ran.
But the way I came up with using this role is to troll whoever gets it.
Because of how the role works, I feel like the player would most likely want to guess Vanilla Townie or Mafia Goon
But what if there was only 1 vanilla townie and 0 mafia goons? Then suddenly you get to watch something thats really funny.
Here are some things you can do with this. I feel like if you are doing any of these things, you're making the game for your entertainment rather then it being an actual like good or fun game, which is why I'm posting these ideas here, but
You can
- throw in a bunch of neighbors. Make them aligned with each other or not, up2u.
- throw in multiple universal finders because the player will likely think that they're unique and not guess their own role.
- add in roles that aren't vanilla townie or mafia goon but also don't add any real power to the game. There are plenty of them.

Why is it that a multiball game can be considered normal?
It’s a game type that I think only rly appears in open and normal queues. I don’t remember the last time a multiball game was ran outside of those queues (third parties don’t count here)

are any of these new additions going through NRG before they hit the queue or are they just being added because guy on forum post said "this would be a good idea"

Traitor I don’t think effects hunting that much but it is a very difficult role to play well.
U do bring up a point that I don’t rly remember the last time traitor or multiball was ran outside of the normal/open queues.
If the normal queue is supposed to be representative of what is popular on the site, why is something niche like multiball that is very rarely run outside of the normal queue normal? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

I think implosion explained somewhere (or maybe it was someone else, not sure) that Normal is supposed to represent what is considered MAFIA, rather than a variation of the game.

Let me rephrase
Multiball is rarely seen in the theme queues.
I think you would have to break down how many large theme queues had multiball games.
Actually, I think the only place to really find multiball larges IS the normal queue.
I don't recall the last time a multiball game was ran as a mini theme but I think it would be rare to see one.

The first thing I think about when I think of the normal queue is a standard game of mafia with no bullshit or advanced mechanics that make an average game of mafia harder.
