technically, it's not allowed to talk about kills once you're dead, so i assume that you still can't even in the other game, though other elements can be discussed?

then again... can you please provide an example of allowed conversation, perhaps?

i'm taking a more laid back approach this game. but if you want input, either mmcl got something on tally, or is totally BSing, or they're both scum and purposely distancing themselves from each other. or else they're both confused innocents and you're scum. i really dont have anything to go on right now.

Ugh, sorry for the horribly suspicious post, next time, i'll just refrain from posting. i had a big interview the 28th in the morning and i was trying to read through quickly and get something out there to avoid just such a situation and then go to bed. it's just my luck that it backfired. anyways, i'll do better next time (this time?).

i guess what i was trying to say by that post was that in my eyes and at that point in time, any of those scenarios was a possibility-- both, one or the other could be scum or none, and at the time there wasn't the explicit explanation that we should check out the post in question or whatever. like i said at the time, i didn't really have anything to go on. my initial reaction was that mmcl's accusation was very quick, and i was hesitant about following so quickly with a vote or any solid suspicion without explanation.

i'll go back and read this post, and in the meantime,

okay, and silgado, i was confused about the tally/mmcl thing. i really didn't see the reasoning behind mmcl's suspicions.
can you really tell me you understood what the heck mmcl was talking about?

because of my confusion, i decided to try and be clever and point out how their behavior was appearing. maybe he was or she was or they both were or none of them were scum. that's what i tried to convey with my post. who knew it could be so horribly horribly misunderstood. and i dont get how any other post i might have written could be mistaken otherwise either. all i was doing was covering my ass because i know i and other people sometimes have a tendency to blow things out of proportion. like that lurky tally thing, which i admittedly followed for lack of any other lead.

i thought she was scum, but then unvoted too (though you probably also find me suspicious). if you've read through closely enough, you'll get what tally is trying to claim. i dont know if i believe her, but that shred of doubt is enough for me, and i guess mmcl, to unvote.

so W_W is saying i'm wishy washy. right? i guess all i can say is i read through again when i had more time and decided that my vote was in the wrong place.

and for the record, i dont think there's any reason to completely believe anyone unless they are positively confirmed. ever. when it comes to playing i tend to waver between "so-and-so is innocent" and "so-and-so is guilty" to make sure i keep my guard up. there are some mighty fine mafia on these boards and i don't want to let myself fall victim because i assumed too soon that they were innocent. so while i believe tally for the moment, something could change my mind. like a vote for me.

and i guess w_w is also trying to tie me to mmcl. i dont relaly see it. i'd agree with OTHER people, if anyone else brought anything up that they were so sure of that they would attempt to prove it.

i thought the point of dichotomafia was that we DO get to talk about both of them as they happen. that's what makes it different from just playing two normal games. or am i wrong here?

as to setup-- didn't norinel mention that all roles are standard roles? what exactly ARE standard roles for a werewolf game? are they generally the same as for mafia?

im going to have to agree. as weird as flying dutchman's comment was, i think wacky's suspicions of nanook in this game based on the town game doesn't really seem like a good strategy. i'll probably vote for nanook, but not in this game.

from what i saw, you were trying to vote for nanook for reasons that seemed out of place with regards to this game. and then you said that you suspected him in this game as well, but didn't give details.

ralph's comment is intruiging. and it definitely adds to my suspicions of FD.

but what was with that whole "flying pumpking" thing?? did i miss something?
