getting beat down with end of the month work...hopefully will have time May 1 to post if needed...(sending this to all my games)
quick reply for this thread.
JTP, currently all we got to vote on is random bullshit. something about your role seems like it could be dangerous on the side of mafia or as the SK..just a page 1 feeling...NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

are you saying that my vote was bull shit or that your response to my voe is bull shit?JamesThePhox wrote:CKD: I know. And my response to your vote was pretty bullshit too.
SSK was not fishing. We have a day start on an open set up, how is SSK fishing and how was it worth a vote?Flameaxe wrote:Yes, you are fishing. Think about it, and stop being retarded.
Unvote, Vote: MafiaSSKStop protecting your buddy, scum.
“Not very serious”…so do you think he is playing scummy? Why is it ok for one player to be not serious but another to be? Seems to me that PEG’s role would give him the opportunity to really be aggressive during the day..why does his role suck?Lawrencelot wrote:Unvote; Vote: Flameaxe. Like pickemgenius, he is playing a bit... how do you call it... not very serious. But peg's role sucks so his behaviour is explainable.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

I almost chose PEG's role. The only reason I didnt was because of the power of the watcher(s) from Small Town Heroes game..side note (mafia thoroughly gave me a thrashing)..
I dont see a contradiction..I have seen many games where people who are aggressive are targetted and most of the time lynched rather quickly...PEG's role, makes people think twice before hammering. You can bet your ass if PEG is town, mafia or the SK wont hammer. If he is scum, anyone will be scared of hammering.
this gives him a ton of freedom and I dont think his role sucks at all.
I dont think he should be given a "look over" because his play is weak and contentless and you (and PEG) deem is role as sucky...

well fuck..
I thought PEG was the guy who if someone hammers him they kill them back (super saint, Ike)..but that is actually dean harper....
my mistake...yeah PEG role does suck, and I guess it would benefit him (scum or town) to stay low and not really make stances on things.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

LOL, I am in another small town game with fonz….(still bitter about your mafia win last time).
Yeah, Fonz leaves out he was the doctor. LOL, I totally agree with this. Like the last Small town game (heroes) I think we should dice roll random claim. The Fonz wrote:
I would suggest we have everyone who has a night action claim in a random order tomorrow morning. There's an argument against this- scum knowing who the protective roles are minded to target is useful to them- but see the last smalltown, where the doctor role wasn't made to claim, and performed two of the three scumkills.
Wow, my vote on AK got some quick votes that followed.
Unvote, for now, we still have a lot of conversation needed today from someone to have that many votes quite yet.
Also, I want everyone to confirm that we are indeed claiming in random order tomorrow our night actions. If someone has a problem with it, I would like to know why today, versus tomorrow.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

this assumes that AK lives today....what is wrong with him getting the tracking ability? The Fonz wrote:Another thought- we should probably direct AK to target gob tonight as well.
also, I would like to hear everyone's thoughts on what type of person I should target tonight (granted, this will have little to no effect on what I actually do), but I am curious to what people will suggest today..
should I target someone who has a night ability to confirm myself tomorrow?
or if I think someone who is scummy that doesnt have a night ability, it is ok to target them?
of course, this all assumes I live through the night to claim tomorrow...but I am curious what people's stances on this is today.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

my meaning is this..will I find you not joining (voting) a bandwagon day one because someone already has three votes. You are casting suspicion his way, but dont want to switch your vote..I find this suspicious...it looks like you are trying too hard to look town or cautious. Four votes is nothing in this game and you should know this.
will I find you doing this type of thing in other games?...I will I find you doing the direct opposite...I would like your answer before I look.
if I ever get time, I will meta this.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

why are you asking? why do you want scum to know what we "agree"?Anatole Kuragin wrote:So you don't all agree that scum is more likely to kill someone who has admitted that they're a finder, tracker, or healer than someone who has claimed super saint (or several other things).

first of all, I would like you explain my vote. I would like to hear your perception of it. then, explain why my vote was opportunistic. Once you do that, explain my unvote after I checked back in to see a couple votes after mine. Then explain how it is opportunistic when we dont even know the alignment of AK yet...do you know something that we dont?Lawrencelot wrote: ckd's and MafiaSSK's votes look a bit more... opportunistic.
Fonz, why do you think MafiaSSK's action is scummier than ckd's?
then explain this vote.
Vote Lawrencelot, I dont think I have liked any of your posts since this game has started.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

Well, I am getting scum vibes off him, so I would rather lynch. The Fonz wrote:Once again, can i get a yea or nay from everyone on whether we should insist Lawrence use his power? I say yea.
but I think I am standing alone on this.
If he is town, I think he has one of those powers that he shouldnt tell people today if he is going to use it tonight or not. I think it is pro-town to use it, especially if it is a role that is useful or he has a strong vibe someone is town. Tomorrow he can defend his actions (or lack there of)...but talking about it today is not good.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

Hey, I think it is pro-town to use it, but there is no point in telling the mafia today if he plans on using it tonight or not....let him defend himself /explain why tomorrow if he doesnt use it.The Fonz wrote:
I really don't see the harm in making it clear he's going to use it, as long as we don't announce who he's going to use itcuriouskarmadog wrote:

if you want to pressure/ lynch him, why are you telling people to be careful?...sort of getting that scummy vibe off someone who says "go go go" and "be careful" in the same breath.JamesThePhox wrote:Looks like we're pressuring/lynching MafiaSSK.

wait a minute, you are agreeing with me about what?MafiaSSK wrote:
Fine, I'll explain my reasoning for jumping on the bandwagon. I was being lazy with who to vote for so I agreed with CKD.JamesThePhox wrote:Looks like we're pressuring/lynching MafiaSSK.

If you feel like being lazy is anti-town, why did you do it? Why arent you redeeming yourself now by presenting some original thoughts on the game?NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-
