I think this can be assumed from the rules and things you have posted but I am not quite sure so just to make sure: people are going to have different allignments in each game right? Therefore we shouldn't assume things from one game onto the other?

Yeah, two threads would definately make it much easier, and I don't really think they are going to get too buried either, there's plenty of games that are over and are not too far down on the list, so ours shouldn't go down too much. But it is up to you Norinel.

There's nothing really that weird (at least with my vote) STD. MMCL has obviously stuck his neck out for some reason or another. On Day 1 it is imperical that we follow any leads we have, and unless there are invisible posts around here, this is the only thing going on at the moment. And by "following" I don't mean just believing MMCL and for no reason lynch Talitha, but instead find out if either of them is scum.

But since Talitha has posted, I think it's best for MMCL to post next. And also Talitha, I believe MMCL did make it sound that he wasn't voting for you because you were lurking (which you were not), at least that is how I saw it.

About Peacebringer - I do agree that he is overposting a bit, I mean there was no need for him to post those three posts back to back, when he could have just posted it all in one, but well this discussion is done with. The problem is, I don't think his play really says much... yet.

About Tally and MMCL - I'm not really sure I see much in post number 2 MMCL, so I'm not sure what to think about this anymore, as you said "Among other things" which I am taking as there are definately other things.

About Lulu - That was my same exact thought when I read her post. She mentioned every possibility, yet said absolutely nothing else. I also saw that as weird/suspicious (not quite sure which one) So I might be switching my vote over to her after we see what happens between MMCL and Tally.

About Wacky and Lulu - I'm not too sure if actually saying outloud they are just waiting for things to happen means much, because you can think of it as townies actually sitting back and waiting, or mafia pretending to be sitting back and waiting. I think it might be a bit early to tell anything about Wacky and Lulu from this issue.

I think I'm going to back off Talitha. I'm not too sure I exactly believe her actions were scummy as MMCL now says, but I also don't think if MMCL was mafia he would have done this so early (which of course can be refuted with some sort of WIFOM though).

I had not seen her posts as scummy when I read them the first times through, but I think that might have been because I was blindsided by the whole MMCL/Talitha thing. While re-reading the thread I did agree with Tally when she said that Lulu's statement regarding not wanting to look scummy actually seemed scummy. I know I never want to look scummy either, because of course if you are town you don't want to get lynched and leave the town in a disadvantage, but I usually try to post my feelings about the mafia, and then if someone claims something I said is scummy then I just have to defend myself, as I

I am not scum, there isn't something I can really say that would come from a mafia's perspective, because I'm not! So if you are deliberately trying not to look scummy OVER trying to lynch scum, then is either not very good town play, or plain scum.

So then, I wouldn't mind hearing from Lulu again. As well as from others that we haven't heard from in a while, like ralph, et all.

I'm also not entirely in the lynch Talitha faction or the not lynch Talitha one, because I certainly would like more information before making any sort of lynch, whether that be from MMCL, or Talitha's posts. The more posts, the more there is to look at, and the more info we can have later on in the game, as to pairing scum, etc.

Also, I didn't ask for a roleclaim either. I am not too sure if I like the idea of bandwaggoning for role claims, although some times it is necessary, and I mostly hate it when it happens to me, but I did ask you for more posts. All I wanted was more posts that we can look at and see if we could catch you in a lie/slip or anything that would give us assurance that you are scum. I also don't know if I should put a vote on Nanook or Talitha. Talitha does seem to have more going against her, with MMCL's "info" and all, but she seems so darn sure about her role being important. I think I might just be too gullible. On the other hand, Nanook took PB's style to throw it against him, which I did agree with, but now he has turned out to be innocent. I think Nanook might have just being trying to look for scum, and placed his suspicions on the person he found most suspicious (well duh). So I am going to wait for a bit before I place any votes I think.

I know in the same post with this you posted the different possibilities between PB and Uraj, but this line right here kind of jumped out at me (my bolding). It is as if you are trying to get on PB's good side because you know he's innocent (meaning you are scum), hoping he would stick with you or at least he would (even in the back of his mind) lean towards your innocence if the time for that should arise. Trying to buddy up with an innocent by siding with him?

Talitha: Of course, town always has to be skeptical about everyone, one way to do that is by assuming someone is scum, and then thinking how that person would react to things if they actually were scum. This is always good to do, because if you assume everyone is scum, and you look at their posts/reactions/etc, you can verify many of their actions and you can also prove (at least to yourself) when someone might be innocent according to the way they acted during a certain situation, for example if you know that if they were scum they would have undoubtely done something different than what they actually did. I'm really bad at explaining what I mean, but I guess it would be some sort of strategy. Assume they are scum, and see if their actions go along with your assumption. You know what I mean? I think I want to keep my FOS for you actually not seeing this when reading my post. If you are town, wouldn't you have to agree with someone that is skeptical about everyone else (even if it's you they are skeptical about)?

I think your comment, the one I said I was suspicious of, and your reply only deserve a FOS for now. I would have placed a vote if it was something much more substantial, but for now I think the FOS is enough. C'mon Talitha you said it yourself. Of all of those points I have only said one of them really has some merit, which is why I had earlier kept by vote on you, the fact that MMCL said "Among other things". Once MMCL stated the reasons he thought you were scum I unvoted because I didn't agree, and he wasn't very clear about what "among other things" meant. So now, if you put those 4 points together, then subtract two of them, I am left with this information from someone that I have no idea if is telling the truth or not, and the statement which I said I saw suspicious. Those two things, in my opinion, are not enough to garner you a vote right now.

You say that my FOS appears to be intended to encourage others to vote for you, yet I had voted for you early on, and later unvoted because I didn't see much from MMCL's points, or your posts. Then I had nothing else to add as you had not done anything else to raise your scumminess until your statement which I referred to, when I brought you to light again, which was good because it made you post quite a lot, 3 posts in fact.

If Talitha is not scum, MMCL has an easy out with "I was not sure that it would work, because of what my role states."

That is what Talitha was referring to when she said to read Improbable Mafia. In that game, someone did something similar to what MMCL is doing, and Antrax was extremely adamant about lynching that person the following day after the person they lynched happened to be innocent. He explained that lynching the so claimed "cop" who got an innocent lynched in every game we play would stop scum from using that tactic again, and if you think about it, makes a lot of sense.

Regarding Talitha, I can definitely feel her frustration, since there's not much she can do to defend herself if she's town. But if she's scum, she might still be trying to pull it off by acting emotional (like MMCL said) and getting people to switch their votes somehow (something that is most likely not going to happen, so this is just speculation if Tally does happen to be scum) I clearly don't know in which direction to go. I did say that I would look further into her replies after that comment of hers I mentioned some pages ago, but nothing has really stood out. Obviously at this stage of the day the most useful thing might be to get Talitha lynched, and just see what happens tomorrow, but I don't know if that is the smartest thing. I do have to agree that if Tally ends up being a townie, we lynch MMCL even if his excuse is "I guess I'm insane" or whichever way he might say it. I'm not going to place a vote though, I think we might be able to savage every piece of info from now until the deadline.

Also, let's please not go back to discussing PB's style of play. We know we can't read you PB, that's what you keep telling us. Unfortunately, I really don't think anyone brought that up this time other than you, which is what I believe Willows was referring to with one of her previous posts. But other than that, I believe this part of the discussion was done with during the Town's day.

About Fuldu, I'm not sure what to think about since he says he doesn't have a useful role. If it's not useful, you could claim then right? Unfortunately I understand what he means about getting bandwaggoned for bad reasons. And if he does end up being pro-town and he claims, we of course end up helping mafia.
Unfortunately, I am always a curious person, and the thought of hearing a claim alway interests me.

Obviously, both Nanook and MMCL are scummy, but while we don't have much on Nanook (other than the roleblocking which is pretty big), we do know that MMCL completely drove the town to lynch a townie yesterday and now refuses to give more info. Second, while I was rereading I did notice the voting and fosing that Lulu did, and made me suspicious of her, and then after she was replaced, Coron seemed suspicious too! If he wasn't at Lynch minus 1 I might have voted for him.
And third, there's one person I think seems a bit suspicious as well: STD. He first jumps from one person to another, not really saying much, just placing votes, and then when someone says he was too quiet he says that there was not much to have said during the day. Unfortunately, there was the whole Wacky/Nanook thing to have talked about. I just didn't like the way he responded when Coron said STD was quiet.

I'm not going to vote, but I think I would like a claim from Coron, and I assume others might be waiting for it as well.
