fun fact: pirates were not nearly as violent in general as stories made them out to be. its mostly pirate propaganda, because if people feared them they would surrender and that made pirates' lives easier. Pirates also used constitutions based on unanimous consent and generally had very equitable pay structures. theres a really good book on pirates called "the invisible hook" by peter leeson. its a very good and easy read, although it was published by an academic press.

Interestingly enough though, if we scuttle mafia past day 2 then we auto win. So either we can go fer th' booty victory 'n scuttle them back t' back, or jus' try t' scuttle one day 3 onwards.

I be nah sure if leavin' th' most scummy player alive till day 3 be feasible, so I rather nah debate that plan.

i think the play is always to lynch scum early and often. intentionally lynching town seems very silly.
