I'm unconvinced that there's any issue with locking a thread briefly for an ostensible hammer. I would consider a game with an 18 hour twilight to have less "integrity" than one with a 4 hour twilight and a 4 hour period where the thread was arbitrarily inaccessible. Performing social deduction with participants who know they cannot be eliminated presents special qualities, temporary thread locks don't do anything except reshuffle people's abilities to have timezone dependent hammer priority, which is arbitrary anyway. As an individual listmod I doubt I would be very interested in censuring anybody taking the facts as given here.
