this was first post that caught my attention. he's subtlely defending ani. nothing wrong with defending someone...but way he does it seems scummy to me.

What was "subtle" or "surreptitious" about what I said? I made the point that the case against him was just another variant of the "wasting words" case which has already come up many times this game. I then said his comment about the lost role pm renders him a decent default lynch anyhow. I'm not *really* defending him anyway, and if I were, what was scummy about it? You've provided no reasons.

these two quotes just rub me wrong way. saying we should hold off lynch for sole purpose of discussion and unvoting to prevent premature lynch just doesn't seem right. i agree discussion is good, town needs it to win, but last time i saw people hold off of L-1 for sake of discussion...no lynch resulted. lynching townie, although not good in it's own right, is better then no lynch.

False dichotomy. You drew a link between what happened in a previous game and this game as though it will happen again. There is no good reason not to use more of our 6,000 words on discussion before lynching, especially as the case against animorpherv isn't watertight atm. animorpherv please post in the thread, with content or a case against someone or something so it can be decided if you're worthy of a lynch or not. I claimed early because I realize I played poorly and have no other defense here (nor would I if claimed with more votes on me). In a game with few words, there's little to go on and I'm sure the train is partially scum-powered so pay attention.

I still believe that ortolan has been way scummier than I.

I've seen alvinz tunnel-vision on others before, and I know he won't stop. Last time he was wrong.. as is this time. Only time will prove. At least explore alternatives before lynching.

I don't know it was optimal play- veerus was going to get lynched partly for it and even if u had ridden the wagon successfully all you would have accomplished is lynching a vanilla townie and looking somewhat scummier into the bargain.
