I'm sketched out by miller claims, as in one of my other games, we have three claimed millers. If anyone is reading that game, then it could be a scum gambit easily.

@Electra: If someone said they were a death miller, I wouldn't believe them for a second. Not only is the role extremely rare, people don't usually know about it.

Better to know now, then later, also, if you believe this and have a good argument about it, you should have waited until they responded, and use it as a trap.

(Also, there's a claimed death miller in a game I'm in right now. The one with three claimed millers.)

General mod questions that are probably useful to other town members:

Is there only one test, or is there one test per day?

There is only one test.

What are the points where you can PM test answers? Can you PM answers during the night? Roles are updated at the beginning of each night phase?

You can PM answers whenever you want, but answer sheets will only be updated at the end of each day.

How long do alerts last? Until a cheater is caught?

Alerts disappear when the player you have your alert on tries to cheat off of you. Then you lose that alert. You may change your alerts whenever you want.

You can only cheat at night? Can you update your answer sheet at night, get a night action, and use it?

I think animorph is just new... I don't see any reason for scum to claim/fake claim so early.

Also, sird, your case boils down to him playing the newbie card and trying to get away with it as scum. I feel like if he is a newbie and did make a mistake, he would have the same actions. I don't see any difference, so I don't view it as a scum tell.

What reason would sird have for pursuing animorph if he were scum? Someone said something about going for an easy lynch or something, but why would scum do that? If animorph flips town, he'd be in an awful position the next day. Towns are generally awful enough at lynching scum that any experienced scum should be content enough to just let the town do their own thing.

With that said, I didn't find animorph's original post to be scummy, but his reaction and his whole bit about being sold on the fact that sird is scum is very OMGUS-y and new mafia-like - he doesn't know how to defend himself, so the best conclusion to make is that his attacker is scum.

I'm already voting him, but just saying that it's no longer a random vote.

@ sird - the FOSes were for not voting derhammer or something like that. Seemed to me that any townie would just go along with this obvious bandwagon. Scum would be more reluctant if it were a bandwagon on scum, but also if they knew that it was a bandwagon on town that they didn't want to be on.

This is a REALLY awkward statement. (And jesters can win if lynched on any day usually).

What I mean is that I get from his role that he's just a vanilla townie. But it doesn't seem like a vanilla townie should be this confused about his role.
