explaining my reads in my loneliness

aristeia i think is probably town but also probably has to die w klick because of the dance game meta (imo when someone insists on being killed w someone etc you have to force their hand there because it’s really easy to get away with it because mafia would value their life more, i do this a lot.) i’d be maybe amenable to not killing her though because i like her push and getting receipts etc. it’s a problem
klick i think is being weird i think that it would be pretty simple to answer a lot of things esp early on but he reads as evasive to me. maybe it’s because he’s been in the defensive for almost this entire hame but from experience he’s more open and responsive

i think that asking to die is different in dance games, from my perspective i ask to die as mafia a lot because like who would want that mafia wouldn’t they just have a lot of faith in reads and if you don’t like… treat that assertion as dead serious it is very easy for mafia to get away with it without much punishment. i feel like it gets caught eventually but there’s merit into making people commit to their statements. maybe it’s different because of this specific setup but i don’t think it changes much

this is not the real reason ydra is scum but look at all the hedging that's here. and especially leaving open trying to kill ari/klick i don't like.

wrt the setup being able to change partners removes like … most of what makes dance games intriguing imo because you have to normally deal with poor choices in endgames etc

being able to kill two people may have helped if the setup was bigger but idk.

i think that it would help a lot for this setup because otherwise town just keep pairing with the same people and mafia have no great tools beyond like… somehow getting them voted out (which duh they should be doing lol but nightkill exist as a tool in other setups etc), and with more pairs/choices it would feel better as well. i’d be interested in replaying the setup i think if it had tweaks
