Example: if I made a post at 01:38, another at 02:12 and other at 09:12, I would be down to 17 posts until 01:38, when I would get 1 post back. I would get my next post back at 02:12, then my next at 09:12.
It's very hard to make 20 posts in 24 hours, I think, and if I wanted to be more strict with geriatricity I would probably cut back to 10 posts per 24 hours with a 15-post reserve or something.
The effective goal was to make counting votes easier by virtue of there being fewer posts to comb through, and to also guarantee that you wouldn't go idle for two days and then come back to 10 new pages in your absence. Perhaps that's more of a concern with a large game, but hey.
