I think Hu Tao is more defensive as scum than she is town. Town!Hu typically brushes off scumreads from what I've noticed, or she'll ask "Why?" or something that indicates she's genuinely thinking about her attacker's alignment. But scum!Hu is visibly bothered by the scumreads and can't help but respond/react to them

Hu was town here(a mason with Nono), I also was town(along with your best friend Flavor Leaf haha).

I, among others, were very suspicious of Hu all game and felt her play was scummy.......until I had a come to Jesus moment and realized the mason claim probably made the most sense.....blah blah won't bore you with all the details of how I won the game for town

But, does Hu look similar there to here? I kinda feel no, but something about Hu that makes me doubt every read I have on her.

Alright so I was able to look over this game in conjunction with this game and Micro Normal 1094 that just ended where she was scum

The thing I'm noticing in her town game that isn't present in her scum game (or this game) is that she's

way

more willing to verbalize townreads and agree with other people's townreads. The only townread she has expressed this game is Drew. The only real townread she gave in Micro Normal 1094 was me. She did end up giving some pseudo townreads late in the game there but she didn't explain them at all and I think part of her plan was to try and pocket Gamma/Elements with them

The questions in her town game seem to have purpose, like she's actually trying to sort people when engaging with them. I don't see that as much in this game and in the Micro Normal. She does ask questions in her scum game but it feels like they are trying to push an agenda rather than figure people out, and a lot of them come when either defending herself or trying to accuse someone of being scum

I'm really bothered by the way Hu Tao was so adamant about everyone claiming in this game. This isn't really related to her other games but I can't stop thinking that it just implicates her as scum. I went over it in 1160. It really feels like Hu was desperate to get the information out on the table before the Day ended so she could start planning her path to victory. I missed 759 when I wrote 1160 but it adds even more to the desperate vibe. She asked multiple times for people to unvote in a very short span of time. I would feel better about this if Hu Tao followed the claims up with

noteworthy, like balance spec, thoughts about who could be lying, anything. That was her whole reason for promoting the mass claim in the first place. Instead we got nothing. It really makes me feel like she just needed the information for herself and had no interest in using it to help solve the game

I don't think it's a coincidence that Hu has been pushing the "it's either Dragon or Black" narrative since you first claimed your N1 target. I think her plan was (and still is) to try and get you faded

Notice how she hasn't been pushing either of us very hard despite us being her solve. That's because the majority of the player list believes that we're town. Instead she has supported the Umlaut wagon (out of no where) and two no eliminations


I think she no killed twice because she was worried about kyouko being a roleblocker or something that could out her as scum if she sent in a kill. That's why she desperately wanted a mass claim and pressed kyouko very hard to full claim. And I think she felt safe sending in the kill on gera last Night because kyouko expressed a townread of her in 1038, so if she were a RB then she likely wouldn't have targeted Hu

I was a little rude to you when I shouldn't have been. There's no excuse for it and I need to control my frustrations better

I also struggle with two problems as town. I tunnel easily, and I'm bad at rallying people to my solve when I think I'm right. I was trying to work on the latter this game and it worked a little, the issue was I was tunneling on town. Sorry you got caught in the crosshairs of that
