I think it's too easy for new scum to hide behind the newb card and I don't think scum buddies would necessarily hand hold a new scum. Could easily enough set them up for bussing.

Trust is an interesting word, I don't know I'd say I particularly 'trust' any of them but tbf I don't think I really trust anyone in the player list. I don't necessarily equate trust with towniness or scumminess. I can read someone as town and not trust them at all.

I am curious to hear more about why Eira scumreads you. I think it's interesting that their scumreads are all people that have gone after them, so I'm curious if they have more to say other than OMGUS reasons.

I have a hard time playing D1, cause I never know really how to read people on D1. But looking back on D1 during later days is usually how things start to make sense. When people refuse to play D1 you lose that for better or worse. Sure, I might get protected, but rolling IC makes me feel like this is my only chance to play this game.

Key has a way of posting in an extreme 'matter of fact' manner that I find off putting. He also seems to come up with a theory, then ISO dive and fall victim to confirmation bias to support his theory. I've found it's easy to ISO someone and confirm any narrative you like if you try hard enough. Unfortunately, I think a lot of people are starting to largely skim his posts.

I'm honestly not sure I find Lox (hmm Lox bagels) to really be as scummy as others are painting him to be. His tone largely reads as frustration, which I can see from either alignment. I do find it amusing that Lox has really been the only person who has interacted with me regarding my vote.

I will say something I am generally paying attention to is how people approach me. As in, who seems to ignore me, who seems to largely meme with me, who talks about my posts in the this person, and who actually seems to engage with me. I have some theories as to how scum might actually want to interact with my slot, but I won't expand on that for now. I think it's an interesting exercise for others to pay attention to as well.

Before I had a bit more meta, I just did not like his opening to the game. Wasn't a fan of his hop onto Bingle (His post 18). After Large 245 ended and I saw the Scum PT (He was scum and repped out) it's basically the same thing Sleepy Dragon said.

At this point I'm not saying it's a dead to rights case, he did say he was busy with work. I'm just saying, if he does not replace out, he's got an uphill climb to prove himself not scum to me. Because of the supposed IRL situation though, I am fine giving him time to maybe come around and re-evaluation the slot on a later day. That's why I said I'm not real motivated to push on it right away.

Well some major Highlights I guess.

Your slot mostly was going after Elements and Eiralox. Elements made a supposed fake claim #20 of being informed that there was no kill prevention from town. This was brought up on account of me being mod confirmed as town. Kitty counterclaimed this #212. Elements later said their claim was just a j #220. There was a lot of back and forth about how Elements role fished and outed a town power role by Key. Others can chime in about if they felt they believed or not whether that was actually the case.

The case against Eiralox is a lot more complex, as I alluded to this is the bulk of the pages in this game. They kinda got into an extended flame war on each other. It seems to have started with a post where Eira asked me to started a wagon with them #386. This got traction and I believe most other people joined and started to SR Eira based on tone and general flail-li-ness. Again, I should let the wagoners plead their case more. I haven't joined any of the wagons so far.

I also just realized that the person Eira wanted me to start a wagon with them on is who you voted . Chaos has fully said they are new and generally not sure what to post and others had to really push for them to post a read wall. They eventually voted on Bingle, then later when asked forgot why they voted Bingle and switched to Chell (FL replacement). They put the most effort in making a case on Chell. Eventually sheeped onto Eira in the middle of the flame war.

I could see a push on Chaos, I kinda put him into the same category as Nurse. Maybe scum afraid to post and not sure how to proceed.

I'm kind of in that boat myself. After limming KKFC in that C9++ game we were in recently, I am more gun shy to do that. I'm trying to learn to at least give lurkers a chance to get past D1, but sometimes I find myself nowhere with who is posting on D1 and I get that hope that maybe the lurkers are just casting scum or something.

I'm also a bit of a lower volume poster myself, so it's hard not to feel hypocritical about it.

I'll be honest, I'm generally just trying to say shit and see what people glom onto. I've been trying to figure out if Scum would want to pocket me or stay away from me. I've been generally very loosely saying I townread people, scum read people, chatting up people that have been controversial. I haven't come to really any major conclusions, but I've been waiting to see if anyone really tried to engage with me specifically. So far no one really has.

I'm honestly not sure. I'm at a point where I really don't know what Eira will flip. I can certainly see to some extent why people are calling him scummy. He essentially attacked everyone in the course of his wagon, even those not voting him. I have no meta on him and others say this is sort of par for the course play for him even as town.

I'm still dubious of RN's slot, but will wait and see what Snivy does with it I guess. I've been in 2 completed games with Snivy now, one as town and scum. I didn't see much of a difference in his play between the 2 besides his obvious theater with you in that C9++ one. Not sure if I'm willing to completely let OK's play hide behind his newb card.

GTH, if it had happened I would have hammered Elements. I genuinely lean town on both right now, but I lean town more on Bingle. I was okay with either only because I think both are high info elims. They have a lot of interactions and history to look at tomorrow.

They even have a very interesting associative with each other. Elements wagoned Bingle early, FL "saved" Bingle, then Elements went on to call Bingle town for basically the rest of the day. On the flip side Bingle has always been dubious of Elements. I think if one of them flips town, maybe they both do, but I also think the opposite could work. If one flips scum, they might be buddies. Hard to say if Elements was pocketing Bingle after the initial wagon, or if it was all a scum play.

I lean town on them just due to how they reacted to claim talk. I liked these posts from Elements

For me what Drew has going against him is that while he's been playing fairly null and there are others that are scummier, the other scummier people have made claims that cause me to want to let them cook and sort after a night phase. At this point I don't know what to think anymore. I was one of the people in the camp of Key must be town due to his wild posting and I've given Titus a pass since replacing in because of it. But I feel like I need to remove all my reads and re-establish them. I think I really need to re-evaluate SD's slot as well. I still think CCS and Khaos are pretty scummy. I also still and tending to believe Bingle is town. Not sure how to feel about Gamma/gob.

I am still here. I have been busy with the holidays but am still invested in this, I just have had no time to sit and read and post. I have thought a lot about this game and most find that I wonder why I am still alive. My biggest worry is that my initial reads are all in town and scum kept me alive to push mis-lims. I feel like this game has fallen into a very bad rut.

Thinking more about it, I think I'd rather go Snivy over Khaos. I do actually agree that Khaos is LHF, I also find his slot very frustrating since he doesn't really add anything to the game and it generally has felt like this was a 12 person game (like Bingle said at the start). I just really hope he is scum for town's sake if and when we do elim him.

I'm actually kind of excited to let Taly cook here, I briefly played with Taly recently and they are like the polar opposite of Khaos. This should be interesting. Plus Taly is forced to called me town here.

Off the rip, I think I am fine for both. As much as it was paining me to do, I did start this morning re-reading this game (speed skimming certain parts). I think the recent cases against Bingle make a lot of sense, I was town binning Bingle, but like I said, I was a bit shook to still be alive. I can't help much shake that (maybe Bingle even) kept me alive because I was pocketed and I have been wanting to re-evaluate where I stand.

gob I am not as sure of, I think I'd prefer Bingle over gob. I'll continue reading.

Yeah I realized right after I posted that that Kitty was the obvious kill, he made it no secret what he was. I'm just lucky he wasn't babysitting me at the time. I just wonder if he chose to babysit Eira cause he knew he was going down and purposely took him with him or something. He wasn't really calling Eira scum, he was calling Elements and SD scum.

It does feel like SD keeps derailing whatever the current wagon is to stat a new one, puts Snivy at E-1 to get him to claim, then immediately changes to Bingle instead.

Well when SD first came in he was railing on RN for being in his lurky scum meta. Then he keeps shading Snivy, but doesn't seem to ever commit to keeping a vote there.

I am here and lurking. On a normal workday when I am at my computer I spam refresh on my games and generally stay up to date. I just choose carefully when to post. I have generally just been waiting for others to chime in. I went back and re-read Gamma (gob). I worry I always SR gob so I wanted to revisit how specifically I felt about Gamma. I don't have a good handle on her scum game yet. I do think I can be amenable to voting gob. Gamma seems scummier here than in other completed games I've seen from her.

I also spent a lot of time re-reading Bingle as well as OWer/SD. This game has been real rough to land on a side to go with. I'll be here up until deadline and will eventually vote to elim somewhere. I generally TR OWer, but do feel SD has been chaotically jumping around a bit which has given me pause.

I was kind of parking on Snivy and was planning to hammer whatever I was comfortable with that got to E-1 if it wasn't Snivy. I'm sort of in the same boat as yesterday, I think the prevailing options will provide good information even if they flip town. I agree that the Khaos slot is no longer the play today as I want to give Taly a chance to cook in that slot now that we have someone that will actually play.

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm dead tonight, I agree on Snivy and SD assuming Bingle flips green. SD did a lot of damage waffling around and throwing all the wagons off. I love that both EoDs I was on Snivy and town elimmed someone else. I swear if Snivy flips red I will never trust any of you again.
