I think it should be obvious that these points are obvious. I find the fact that he merely repeated what had been said previous to his post. Yes, it should be obvious that the random stage is over. Which means half of his post means nothing. And of course the self-vote should be looked at and is not important...and that's the other half. In other words, I was merely asking for more information, more content with which myself and the town can use to discover more information and get good reads on any many players as possible.
@Post 108
I see you haven't met Nat yet...
@Post 109
1. If you can't note this, you probably shouldn't be playing Mafia.
2. Yes, because it merely adds to the uselessness of his post, as stated above.
3. I don't care, so long as they actually post content along with the little, useless reminder.
4. Your sarcasm is noted! Have a nice day! 8D
@Post 110
Is asking questions jumping the gun? And I see you missed the point of the question, as everyone else has. The second part of your post contains content, which is what I was looking for.
@Post 111
Drinking and playing Mafia is illegal in my state.
@Post 116
Who are you to up and decide that the point of my post was to attack for the content of his post instead of the lack of it? If I had decided that ending the random voting phase and noting that someone had self-voted was scummy, I'd need multiple votes to vote for you all. Also, calling riceballtail as my scumbuddy already? This kind of thing is bad as it sounds like you're setting up for future lynches.
FoS: sirdanilot
@Post 119
Why the sudden jump? And why the bullshit, dude? I want to stay in the random voting stage? That's your reason for voting me? What role have you ever encountered that would benefit for staying in the random voting stage? Talk about serious reaction voting and then looking for crappy reasons to vote the latest bandwagon...
FoS: Slicey
@Post 126
Because it's blatant rolefishing? Role speculation during therandom voting stage. Sounds like you want to find power roles for easy lynches. Plus, what kind of bastard mod makes a set of roles that can both fulfill their win conditions by one killing the other? Except Tar, of course.
FoS: Microphone_Kirby
Also,unvote.Because we're apparently out of the random voting phase now!I'll watch some more reactions to see who actually warrants my vote as I have three different people who I'm looking at right now.-

About time I got a straight answer. Not from who I asked for, but that's fine.Seraphim wrote:@Post 126

Role fishing? I couldn't care less about the power roles at the moment. Plus, easylynches? I don't see how I'd want to lynch a power-role intentionally... unless I was the boldest Mafioso ever.
They'd be more like easy NK's... to an extent.
Lastly, like I said before:Microphone_Kirby wrote:Frankly, I'm ready to expect just about anything in these games.Unvote-

... The best answer I can give is that you and RBT acted in a certain way I'd think Lynchers and Jesters (respectively) act... although it seemed blatantly obvious (and when I think about it, it gives me a splitting headache), and I just commented on it out of curiosity. You could say I was half-joking... but then I'd be half-serious too.Seraphim wrote:Eh, sorry. I meant NK. Or deaths...or whatever.
If you couldn't care less about the power roles, why are you speculating the set-up?
But I will say this in offense: Two roles don't make a set-up (it'd be silly and stupid seeing a game with only Lynchers trying to lynch jesters ) and last I checked, Jesters and Lynchers aren't Power Roles. Just annoyances.-

I see his comment about jesters as stupid/newb rather than scummy, thus it is a scumtell. I did the same in RealTime mafia when I was town (and newb).Currently modding Mole Mafia: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20529

Big post coming up.
First I would like to hear why you choose to FoS and keep your random vote instead of actually voting, and why you think this is pro town.hp [leaves] wrote:Man, too much speculation in one early-game post. And I'm currently playing at two mind-screw games. Not willing to instantly jump on the wagon; but this is definitely worth a FoS.

Also sirdanilot, I'd like to hear your case against me.
I hardly see how 118 can add anything to your decision, but whatever.Green Crayons wrote:unvote, vote: Microphone_Kirby. 118 + 122 aided in this decision.
Wait, what what what. How is voting Seraphim for that any easier than voting Microphone Kirby for the role speculation? That's just nonsense. Role speculation is anti town too, and I could also say 'that doesn't necessarily make him scum' but I won't because I am of course looking closely at MK. What interests me more than MK himself, however, is the bandwagon on him though.Not too happy with Seraph voting. Knee-jerk reaction is that he said something anti-town. Which he did. That doesn't necessarily make it scum, just anti-town. It would seem to mevoting him is just too easy, which would be perfect for lazy town or scum.
now that's easy, isn't it.OhGodMyLife wrote:I agree with Green Crayons.
Wait, this is exactly what you said:the biggest part of Seraphim's post which is too big to quote wrote: stuff
The former strongly implies that you do not agree that the random voting stage is over. The latter strongly implies that you do not think the self vote is something to look at.And who are you to call whether or not the random voting stage is over? And why is the self-vote something to look at?
(1)Look above, that is what I deduced from it and quite honestly I don't really see how you could have meant anything else.@Post 116

(2)Not at the time of your post.
(3)Once upon a time, in a far away land, there was a pot. He met a kettle. He said: "Guess what? You're black!". And they lived happily ever after.
(hint: V)
Blatantly spreading suspicion around like that is a scum tell to me. And you also chose to stop committing to one target, and just wait and see which bandwagon will turn out the biggest. Not liking this, Seraphim.his two other foses-

I see his comment about jesters as stupid/newb rather than scummy, thus it is a scumtell. I did the same in RealTime mafia when I was town (and newb).
B) If we all had the mentality of "it was a stupid mistake!", we would never get anywhere.
C) It isn't a null-tell because you've done it as town. If there was a bit more sarcasm there, and he made it obvious it was a joke (which he made obvious it wasn't), I could see it. But when it comes right down to it, it s a scumtell.
In other news, my vote reflects someone who needs to get in here.
In other other news, DGB is unusually quiet.Defined by who I dislike, not who I like~-

Seraphim - Latest bandwagon. You have one random vote and two other votes against you. Hardly something to worry about IMHO. However, it seems that I was wrong about you wanting to stay in the random voting stage and thus I willunvoteTaking a temporary retirement from playing mafia games... damn you invitationals.
Coming in Summer 2010: Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Mafia. The most nonsensical game of mafia you'll ever play.

I'm guessing that:
Microphone_Kirby (5)- Pear Bear, ortolan, OhGodMyLife, Sipylus, Green Crayons
raider8169 (3)- Plum, Septia, Talitha
Seraphim (3)- CounselWolf, sirdanilot, Slicey
One of these three players is scum, and being bus'ed.
I'll check again at end game. Here's my wager. If I'm wrong, I'll replace in 3 games. If I'm right, I'll mod a game.Paraphrasing a role PM takes seconds, fabricating a good fakeclaim takes an eternity.
