Not sure if those second random votes really mean anything, since none of them even come close to putting anyone in danger.. and if you check to see if someone is voting your intended target before random voting yourself, your vote is no longer entirely random.

I agree that we should be careful about what we discuss. We should definitely keep the conversation away from abilities and stuff of that nature.



I think I read somewhere in the mafia discussion board that a better name for random votes might be uninformed votes. I suppose votes wouldn't really be random unless you rolled a dice or something.

Echoing RF's questions here. I don't get how what she said won the game for scum and why you're drawing attention to it. Also, it sounds like you're convinced she's town, so why is your vote still on her?

They don't teach you in newbie games to ask questions like that to get the game going. They just give you the opportunity to ask if you're confused. I don't know what kind of answer I'm expecting from you to make up for it, as I've realized there isn't really a good way to respond other than apologize. I still don't like what you did, but I'm not going to try to push you to a lynch for that alone.

Oh, you're right. Usually the last number in the vote count post is the number to lynch. I wasn't paying enough attention and forgot we have this weird no lynch number, too. Alright.

Empking, RF never claimed to purposely play scummy in her defense. Furthermore, how can she possibly hand the game to scum if she's scum herself? Nobody else seems to see what you're talking about, so evidently you know something that most of us don't, and it follows that if what you know combined with what RF said can hand the game to scum, then scum knows it as well.

Reecer, how about actually reading the thread and trying to scum hunt? You can't rely on your role to win the game for you.

I doubt Empking is scum because he's claiming something that can be easily proven or disproven, which scum tend to avoid doing.

Isn't it possible that his claim is true and he is scum? Just because the mod tells the masons that Empking is town upon joining doesn't mean he actually is. It's like a cop getting innocent on the godfather or something. Just because the mod says it, doesn't mean it's true.

zwets, I don't really think the Empking and Reecer incidents are related. If Reecer is scum, it's probably not worth it for his buddy to defend him. Anyway, Empking voted for RF in post 57 and Reecer didn't make that horrendous post until 129.

Juls, it sounds like you're trying to get one of the masons to claim here. :\ Of course you add the "it's up to you" part, but the way you explained it makes it sound like it's a sure positive thing whether Empking is town or not. This is NOT the case. If Empking is recruited by the masons N1 and the mod doesn't say anything about him being town, yes, one mason can out himself and get Empking lynched D2. The problem with this is that once Empking joins the masonry,

he will know who the other masons are

. If he is scum and they know, he'll be lynched anyway, so he would just announce the names of all the masons D2 before he is lynched. If it is the case that the mod is telling the masons Empking is innocent even when he's not, then he'll just share the information with his scumbuddies N2. I would recommend that the masons

do not

recruit Empking to test his claim. The risk is too high.

I personally don't believe him, as I think masons can recruit anyone. Am I wrong?

Good game guys. Was pretty impressed by alcove's move yesterday.

I liked being able to day talk a lot. Unfortunately we didn't get to use it too much.

Being killed off so early made me sad. :v
