drey-- twins/lovers are 2 players connected. When one dies the other dies. They may not necessarily share the same alignment.

This is pooky we are talking about. But by claiming this role, odds are under less day one pressure. Since 2 die not just one. Nothing critical at this juncture but I won't :sadbanna: be voting pooky as a result.

Whoa guys and a BIG FOS there. Coolbot did nothing scumy there. In fact normally scum isn't going to be so forthright and challenging cause it looks so scummy. Coolbot believes the statement was costly-misguided sentiment perhaps but I can understand that. Jumping quick on coolbot like that has me scratching my head.

I just found the vote odd. Coolbot is not one going after the Noob but defending and coming right out with it. I just noticed the quick pile of 3 votes out of no-where. 3 votes Bam, bam, bam is unusual. Doesn't make him not scom but makes one wonder.

And yes I know a vote is just a vote.

folks call a lot of stuff "scummy" that isn't really scummy. Scum tried hard to blend in. Making an obvious push like Coolbot comes off to me more a matter of perspective then anything resembling actually scumminess. At least that is how I see it.

Don't think Dranko's claim was very convining, but it's too big a risk to lynch a claimed seer at this point in the game -- the wolfies will confirm him or we'll get more info or we'll eventually get a counter-claim; we have plenty of time.

I'm happy to move my vote back to Coron; not sure what's with the esme bandwagon.
I found it interesing. I saw dranko's claims, saw esme's statements and wanted to see what would happen voting wise if my vote landed there. And sure enough there was a quick (for this site) pile up and switch. His comments were ones that often get piled on quickly. The vote clearly is one that has provided more information.

So, that's why I'm going to

Mod
, we have a few lurkers; could we get prods?
the fact you even make this statement is HUGE MOS.

It is fairly often on this site that scum will lay back and not say much at all trying to avoid attention. It is in general a top strategy used on site. There are some folks who that is just how they play. Esme's mistake is not noticing whose play is out of character from past performance. That would be Coron. Granted sometimes done by role players and townies but to drive a drain on someone for looking in folks who have not engaged in the game on FREAKING DAY one should never be a reason for a bandwagon.
SO FOS TO YOU IN SPADES
now kindly vote Coron.

Nanook:

YOu know what i am used to and I take a significant concern when a player that normally doesn't lurk ends up lurking. Nanook you are now on my suspect list.

Dranko, I screamed cause no one listened yesterday and no one today and it made more sense then any of the bandwagons.

It is typical Mafia scum poor play to pick on a difference in playing and even felt frustration when something as obvious as a change in behavior is observed.

Since Coron made an appearance I will
UNVOTE CORON

I am not going the dranko or esme directions because I find them flawed. However, Dranko's attempt to divert a direction to me over screaming when not listened to is noted. I think the Coolbot suspsicion is flawed as well. I will hold my vote and want to hear more from Coron.

You know, I'm really getting sick of you saying this. I've heard it many times, and everytime you say the same thing, "It's hella scummy to say that I'm scummy for how I play" is basically what it boils down to. However, how else are you supposed to determine someones scummyness other then
how they play
.

Huh? How else?
it is hella scummy to run folks up just for playing differently. I understand it is about behavioral conditioning more then anything else. But it is stupid and pointing in false directions. I keep saying it, because folks here keep making those same mistakes. The deal is to learn differences in play. Learn a players tendencies, such as my voting on Coron for something contray to normal. Something like, oh gee he screamed because no one was paying any attention and he posted 2 posts previously is scummy. That my friend is poor play, poor understanding and complete BS. And it is VERY SCUMMY to find such silly things to pick on as reasons to run someone up. I will say it everytime I see it happen. It is foolhardy play, but some people just don't learn.

You know, i just noticed something on the first page. IS was a doctor with wolfsbane. Which means werewolves can't kill him if i understand the roles correctly. Is it possible we have two killing groups on alternating nights?

I don't know what the wolfsbane actually does, could someone with knowledge of this type of game tell me?

Well, I guess that dranko20 is the seer. I wonder how many more defensive roles there can be, I mean we lost a cop, a doc, and the martyr, I hope we have one more doctor.
well it must be how mr. Flay is doing the protection role-- using the standard mafia doc role title but the Doc uses wolfbane to keep werewolfs away. At any rate, that loss was not a good one.

pooky, btw you are aware that your partner could be scum, yes?

It is also common for lovers/twins to have their own win condition-fyi.

This is beyond a bad wagon...it's like Esmegate.

The reason I voted esme was kinda fascist: the goal is to rid the town of mafia; she was in the way.

Now, I'm completely convinced that that's the only reason anyone has voted esme this game. And that's really sad.

Ouch. Forgive me for being cynical. Am I not allowed to joke?

I was reacting you your stating that esme was in the way of hunting mafia and I don't see that. Then you take and twist D_rouge statement in order to generate a further bandwagon.

I have also been amused by D_rouge most recent post. Please do post more, it helps make the game more interesting.

an explanation for what? My pookie vote and subsequent Hammer/final vote of Nanook? The fact that I saw logic for both ways and got swayed to consider Pooky. I wish I could read everything perfect and have some sort of inside knowledge, but I don't/
Feel free to lynch me, maybe it will catch scum sorting it out. Scum know I am not scum, the rest of you don't, although a scum could be one to jump on that. We have some good voting segements. I should not be the play though but can understand if folks decided to opt for it. I need to look things over. We have seven left. It might be time to take a good hard look at anyone. I am just villager, that is all.

actually we are at 11 so not time for thoughts on who is left.

Best play is likely to take me out here, have at it. Just a villager here, no loss and not at a crucial point.

Most mods follow three day no lynch/no kill = game over.

I don't like mage's latest statement.

explain it. why would you even suggest that wolves would not kill? how is it in their best interests?

to keep YOU interested -
vote: mage
and I don't care what you've claimed.
based on this, I
vote Mage

actually
unvote and just FOS
- he is pooky's lover but that was Pheobus last direction and I find it is helpful to consider who was killed and why when often ignored. Yes sometimes scum play set up games, other times they kill based on the suspiscion planted.

Bamboomancer wrote:PB, you've played this game deplorably. You built it based on the fact that coron was missing and now that he shows up finally you compltely ignore him and dredge up an argument that has been dead for days.

You're scum trying to look stupid. Dieplzkthx.
I am not scum, so I guess I am just stupid. You also are stupid.

well it doesn't hurt the village and I am beyond frustration level with this game.

I wasn't about to try and argue my non-scumminess. Good luck, try and not be as stupid moving on from here. I was just a villager, no biggie.
