I don't think buying the restriction makes you look more or less scummy. Useful to either side.

Something to keep in mind: Anybody can clear themself by issuing a mayor pardon, since only town can buy mayor. So if you have at least 2 points unspent, you can take a restriction (if needed), and spend 5 to clear yourself if you are bandwagoned. I asked the mod, and you can buy abilities during the day.

I think we all should consider holding onto enough points to do a mayor pardon. If most of us are able to do this, it should be an easy game. In fact maybe each of us should claim whether we have at least 2 unspent points or not? Thoughts?

If we do want to lynch mlaker, he should buy a three-point disadvantage and take cop before we put the final vote on. That way the backup-cop role will trigger. Assuming mlaker is telling the truth - if he is scum, lynching him is just good anyway.

Good game all. I have to admit I was REALLY peeved when I spent 10 points on immunity to nightkill and was shortly thereafter nightkilled. I am however honored by the sheer quantity of effort the bad guys apparantly had to expend to take me out.

But I understand it was a pretty ambitious setup, and the immunity/unstoppable thing was an oversight.

Very interesting idea though. I'd glady play this type of game again.
