Welcome to Survivor: Popcorn Islands!

Eight contestants will be chosen to participate. The game is played like the television show Survivor. Each round there will be an Immunity Competition, the winner can not be voted for that round at Tribal Council. At the end of each round will be a Tribal Council, everyone will PM me their vote, the contestant with the most votes will lose. Rounds continue until only two players remain. The two remaining players will battle it out in one final competition to determine the winner.

(SURVIVOR: POPCORN ISLANDS - RULES)

1: You are allowed to talk with one another outside the thread. You may PM eachother, IM eachother, do whatever you please. It is encouraged to strategize with other players.

2: Challenges and Voting Periods will have deadlines. If you do not turn in your vote on time for Tribal Council, you will recieve a self-vote.

3: In the event of a tie, the players will revote. If a tie remains, then the contestants in the tie will compete in a challenge to stay in the game.

4: You may not vote for the person who has immunity.

5: My word is final, don't argue with the host (aka Me).

6: If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or to PM me.

7: Be active, post here on the thread and meet your deadline. For each deadline you miss you will recieve a strike. Once you have collected three strikes you will be banished from the island. Deadlines include Challenges and Tribal Councils.

I totally agree with you STD. It gets

extremely

tiresome to play with the same people. I also agree on too many crappy survivor games. I've played in a few good ones... the problem is people base a game on how well the site can be made. The few great games I played in never made episodes, which extremely sucked, because they would have been great!

STD, you didn't happen to play Eden Falls? Just curious.

If not, it was a mafia type game. Over 70 players. There was 12/13 'dogs' (aka mafia) and there was an angel (who performed like a doctor) and there was a spy who could talk with the other dogs and pretend to be one. It was extremely fun. You were aloud to talk to people privately, which I personally think should be allowed in these games. Talking one-on-one is alot of strategy. A cop can tell people they know to be innocent information. A mafia can PRETEND to be a cop and tell a person "hey, I know you're innocent" It's fantastic in my eyes, LOL. BUT ANYWAYS, Eden Falls was tons of fun, lol.

Welcome to your first immunity challenge. Today we will be testing your math skills. Below are several problems, each problem is worth points. Whoever has the must points will win immunity. You will turn in your answers by PMing them to me. You will have 52 hours to complete this challenge. If everyone turns in their answers early then I will announce the results early. Anyone who does not turn in their answers will get a strike (three strikes and you are banished). In the event of a tie, the person who turned in their answers first will win. After you have turned in your answers, say ‘/finished’ in the thread. All your answers must be in 1 PM.

If you have any questions, post them in the thread or PM them to me.

Welcome to your second Immunity Challenge. This challenge will test your ability to make strategic choices. This will consist of three rounds. The game is simple and is somewhat like rock, paper, scissors. You have five choices;

Darkness, Water, Wind, Earth, Fire.

Darkness beats Water, Wind and Earth.

Water beats Earth and Fire.

Wind beats Water and Fire.

Earth beats Wind and Fire.

Fire beats Darkness.

Each round you will face an opponent. The winner will move on and the loser is out of the Immunity Challenge. After three rounds, the last person standing will win Immunity.

Welcome to your forth Immunity Challenge. This challenge will test your ability to make strategic choices. In each round someone will be eliminated until only one person remains. In each round there will be 13 stones in the golden circle. One-by-one you will select to take 1, 2 or 3 stones from the circle. The player to take the last stone will be eliminated.

** Welcome to the Final Three Immunity Challenge. You will be tested on your wits, strategic ability and your speed. Below is a web. Your goal is to travel through the web and score as many points as possible. Each round you will select a number to travel to. Then you will be given a question. If you answer the question correctly, you will move to that location and score a point. At the end of the challenge, the player with the most points will win. If there is a tie, there will be a tie-breaker round. If you get a question wrong you can not move there and you will not be given a point. Each round you may only travel one space. It may sometimes be necessary to move backwards, so you are aloud to move back to a previous space that you already own (you won’t receive a question/point). If you have a failed attempt at a space, other opponents may still attempt to reach that space and earn that point. If two players attempt to reach the same space, then they will fight for the space. I will post the question, and whoever sends in the answer first will win the space. If you have any questions, please ask them ASAP. If all three players get a space wrong the space will turn black and no one will have an opportunity to win it.

** You may not move to a space that an opponent already occupies.

** You may attempt to move to a space where an opponent has attempted to reach but failed.

For the beginning, you will all battle for your position on the board. I will post a question Tuesday around 3 and 4 PM Est., if you get it right you will select your position first. To determine the winner you will compete in a series of challenges. The person with the most votes at the end of the challenges will win the title of Sole Survivor. Okay, first off for rajr:

Rajr, I had no intention of betraying you, if you think I did. Me, pie, and roland had a Final Three agreement, and during the Final Seven, before voting out pie, me and roland each made seperate agreements. I made an agreement with mlaker and Pooky, and roland made an agreement with you and STD. We were going to honor his agreements over mine, because Pooky lied to my face about a certain alliance of four. STD confirmed for me that he lied. I was almost sure that me and roland had made it, but I guess I was wrong since I was voted out.

roland, you know that I'm probably voting for you unless you answer someone's question horribly. I don't have any unfinished business with you, so yeah.

My question for both of you is this: Why would each jury member deserve to win, even though they can't?

Well, congratulations on making the final two.

My questions are mostly about the round I got voted out, because I knew more about the politics of the time.

Going into the first round, I tried to get an early alliance with Raj (and hopefully take it to the final 2). I also contacted STD and found that he had made an early alliance with Roland. Great. We joined forces (giving us 50% power over the vote) and got Coolbot out early.

I noticed that the alternate bandwagon was on PBuG, so, by process of elimination PBuG MUST have voted for STD. I figured I'd take advantage of the fact that PBuG appeared alliance-less, and I offered him a plan that would take me and him to the final 3 (I hesitantly suggested Raj as the third).

He objected, saying that he already had an alliance with Roland. My first hint that Roland was driving the game. Rather than just roll over and let Roland decide the game, I decided to take action. After trying to get Raj and STD in with me, it became fairly clear that Roland had them in an alliance as well.

I decided my only hope was to get Pooky and Mlaker in with me and attempt to swing PBug's vote to Raj (hoping he would still go along with the final 3 plan). If we could get Raj off, me, pooky, and mlaker would hold enough power to at least force a tie.

That didn't work out so well

PBuG clearly did the right thing voting me out- he would have gone down soon. I was shocked, though, that Pooky and Mlaker had turned- I thought for sure they would go down next, unless someone realised what Roland was doing.

Although Pooky came dangerously close, it turned out that Roland picked Raj to go final 2. I want to know more of what happened in that blank space- were there any politics, or was it just business as usual?

Well Pie, i had every intention to be in the final 4 with you STD and Roland. i was told by Roland that you were turning on me. so i had to follow Roland and vote you out. i really hate that you turned on me, but its the game, and i hate to vote you off before you tried to vote me off.

Now me playing strategically better than roland is up to spectuation. i thought that me staying in the background and letting roland do all the work made me strategiclly stronger. i thought that me hiding in the background was going to make roland a biger target than me. then knowing that roland would keep his word int he finals, i would be stronger in the challenges than him. and then if there was a vote that i would have pissed off less players. unfortunatly ive underestimated rolands ablities to convince you all.

My response to Pie:

Thank you for your questions, Pie, and I'll do my best to answer them.

1) If I won immunity, I'd probably have taken Raj to the Final 2. I love Pooky and all, but I knew that he would not only be much tougher to beat in the Final 2 (after all, everyone loves them some Pooky...), but I knew that if I voted Pooky off, he would likely be more forgiving of me than Raj would. If I had been playing with my emotions I definitely would have taken Pooky, but every action that I've made in this game has been dictated by strategy, and I would be stupid to turn my back on my strategy in the Final 3. Sorry, Pooks! ::huggle::

2) I formulated my gameplan on the very first day of the game, though I promised myself that I would be willing to change if things went askew. Over the course of the game, a lot of different things happened that both helped and hurt my strategy, and I did my best to stay on top of them. One of the largest problems I faced were that people within my alliances had a rather bad habit of targetting each other, so I had to do my very best to dissuade them. One particular example is how PBuG kept trying to get a group to take out raj and STD, and how I had to keep diverting his attention by telling him that other people wanted PBuG out and that I could use raj and STD's votes to keep him safe. Pie, you were another setback that I faced. After talking with people, I realized that you were playing the same sort of game that I was, but you had gotten caught. I knew that you would be a major threat, challenge-wise and socially, so I had to do my best to vote you out. Basically, my goal was to play this game with a solid strategy and not with my heart, and I think that's why I haven't received a vote against me yet.

My response to PBuG:

Thanks for the question, PBuG. I'll try to break down my reasons as simply as I can: a list!

- Coolbot - Coolbot deserves to win because he was one of the strongest competitors in the game. He knows the game well, and that gave him a good chance at winning. He should have definitely gotten to play longer than he did, and it's sad that he got screwed by a semi-random vote.
- Pie_is_good - Pie deserves to win because he was playing an excellent game until he got caught, and stood a very solid chance at winning if doubt hadn't been sown and he hadn't been taken down early. Pie is a very good people person, and is no slouch in the challenges, as we saw.
- mlaker - I didn't get to talk to mlaker much, but from what I saw, he played a very honest, clean game, which is the most that any person can ask of one's self.
- PBuG - PBuG deserves to win for his spirit. He was in the minority a lot of the time, whether he knew it or not, but he kept fighting back and doing his best to stay in the game, and managed to do so for several tribal councils.
- Save The Dragons - STD was, in my opinion, the strongest at challenges out of all of us, which is why he deserved to win. He played a smart, relatively-honest game, but still managed to keep us laughing the entire time.
- PookyTheMagicalBear - Pooky deserved to win because he got 3rd place, which I always think is the toughest spot to receive. He played under-the-radar near the beginning, but grew to become an important player, and if he had made the final 2, likely would have won. Everyone loves Pooky!

My response to raj:

I made several alliances throughout the course of the game, in order to keep myself in, and I had to break a couple to get here as well. I'm not going to sit here and read off a list of people I aligned with and betrayed, because I'm not an idiot... But the important thing to note is that I did everything within my power to make sure I stayed in the game and was never a target, and that though I'm friends with all of these people, I couldn't let that get in the way of my strategy.
