roleclaiming wouldn't work. I really hope that roleclaiming hasn't been completly eliminated from this game, otherwise the town's basicly shooting in the dark and has little chance of winning.

I tend to beleive nightfall. the role's very simpliied but makes sense. Some sort of day restriction like "Can't talk, your sleeping during the day" would be just stupid, so I can see how the role might be as claimed.

I too would like to hear Stryker's Explination. He keeps saying that nightfall is scum, but keeps spouting information to the contrary.

I'm going to Unvote for now, and I may vote for Nightfall, soon. I just don't like how this bandwagon against Strykker has set itself up. I need to reread.

What bothers me, is that Stryker, instead of trying to clearify a confusing statements, says "So what if it makes no sense?"

If you're trying to convince us to lynch or not lynch (Honestly I can't exacltly tell what your posistion is) nightfall, then you should as sure as heck make us understand why instead of throwing out contridictary statements and then defiantly standing behind that statement. I'm not sure, but it seems to me this could be intentional confusion.

I amfraid I'm still rather confused. Jack Torrance is a townue, so isn't the asumsion that the "bad guys" from the movies are the town, and the "heros" are the mafia.
So, why would claiming dracula be a suicide claim?

I couldn't remember who Jack Torrence was at frist, so I had to google it when I read the night post. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" is his famous movie line. Actually though I've heard about the movie, I never read the book or saw more than the very end of the movie.

Also, how does revealing this role help us get scum? Why roleclaim a self protector role under no lynch preasure out of the blue?

Sorry, I just realized my question made no sense.

I guess I have to come outright, but I am fredy kruger, a cop who is able to look in people's minds. I investigated roland and found out he was dreaming about running from and killing monsters. That was my reason before, and the reason I "random" voted him at the begining.

I agree, there is nothing more to say. I feel we've done all we can do in a day.
insane generates a random result, paranoid generates always a guilty result.

Me being insane or paranoid seems unlikely because of the specific way I was told roland is guilty (the dreams).

Since there are no other power roles claimed, doc please protect me tonight. nightfall, if he is what he says he is can obviously protect himself. I'll investigate nightfall tonight. Though I'm afraid that he is partily lying is a self-protector instead (i.e. old man from texas mafia), which means I may get killed tonight anyways. Do cops protect against self-protect ikills?

Not word for word, that would be cheating, resulting in a mod kill. But I will post a summery of what I get tommarrow.

raj: "Messing with one's head" sounds more in the domains of the villans, so it's doubtfull such a role would be in this game.

Also, I don't remember any bazookas in any of the alien movies (At least the first 3 that I saw, though it was a long time ago). Though since the pronoun "she" is used, I think that means either the charecter is female, or the mod is intentionaly trying to trick us in to thinking it was Ripley.

What about Samus? She has rockets! She never talks, too. How's that for soft spoken.

Besides Styker, I'm also looking at Tradapib as being my 2nd choice. I can't exactly put my finger on why.

I was only half-joking. Samus Aran is the heroeon from the very ppopular (as some fans call it) "horror survivor" video games, Metroid.

I doubt video game charecters are included (Besides for video game adaptions of these movies), though I suppose it's a possibility.

This statement really bothered me.

Max: The idea that there is one cop or one doc is the basis of the counterclaim mechanic. There usualy is only one doc (See 1st day of Rock 'En Sock 'Em Robots Mafia for a good example of this mechanic working), but is it more common to have more than one cop in a game?

It's 4/6 votes by my count so now's a good time to say something Styker.

I have to admit, this role, like Rolands sounds like it has a tenuous link with it's charecter.

Freddy investigating dreams makes sense.

But then again, a reflecting dracula (Does anyone else see the humorous irony in this?) doesn't make much sense to me either, so maybe the mod's applying of roles to charecters isn't as solid as I'd like to think.

As for the cop thing, I don't think he was fishing for roles, what stryker says makes perfect sense. There is sometimes more than 1 cop, but It's almost always a reserve/backup cop or a cop with an negitive effect (insane, paranoid or random).

Ok, i did a scan of the entire game and this is what I came up with. The scores are 1-10, where 10 is the most scummy and 5 is uncertihn.

He quickly jumped on and off nightfall (Not a turn from "convinced" both ways, mind but enough to make me a little suspicous) in litteraly 3 total posts. Was on neither bandwagon, and hasn't been talking much.
