1. Leans to the first one.
2. Depends on the power of roles.
3. Not random (well possibly random) but a lynch is better than a no lynch apart from in rare instances.
4. Yeah
5. True OMGUS yes. Voting someone who voted you for reasons, no.
6. Helping the team get what it needs. (I ask questions, support other's cases but I'm not the world's greatest at analysis.)Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Vote: Yabba- Answerring the questions and then saying what you said about the questioner seems scummy to me.
It seems like you
1. Don't want to seem scummy by not answering the questions.
2. Want to gain brownie points by attacking the questioner.
And though they're not really that scummy, you're post seems like you're preoccupied by them.
Dr. Cyanide: Are you trying to act stupid/scummy.
Deer: Why did you change your vote? ("Elias voted the same player" is not an acceptable answer.)
Everyone (other than Elias) : Why didfn't you comment on Elias' serious vote before random voting?Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Just answering your points.
Going under the radar probably won't end up finally winning. Its best to try for pro-town points.VibeBox wrote:
To me it seems like the better scum play is simply to answer them and say nothing else, so as not to draw attention. The more time Town spends on idle chat, the better for Scum.Empking wrote:Vote: Yabba- Answerring the questions and then saying what you said about the questioner seems scummy to me.
Possibly. But only scum would have thought about that. Town would just do what they want.
This feels like a trap. If he hadn't answered and criticized he probably would have been met with a bunch of "Why don't you want to give info. Anti-Town!".Empking wrote:It seems like you

.
Most players didn't think about how best to look town.
What else was there to be focused on, given the game hadn't even started yet.Empking wrote:And though they're not really that scummy, you're post seems like you're preoccupied by them.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Yabba:
The problem isn't that you did 1 OR 2. The problem is that you did both which is what you'd do if you were paranoid or overthinking it, not if you were just town responding to a post.
The Ad Hom (the reference to my play style) and the frankly ridiculous idea that you shouldn't think how scum would play are also points for you being scum.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Deer: Have you got any other games when you unvoted to prevent an RVS wagon?
Cyanide: So the answer is: "Yes I was trying to act stupid in order to garner a laugh"?

If anybody is wondering.
I asked that (for the most part*) in order to see if I should judge his actions as those done by a silly player.Empking wrote:

Enjoy this OMGUS sandwich.howit is any scummier.
I never said it was. Its uniqueness makes it noteworthy though.
No. RVing snd being sporadic are completely different.
Aren't we all effectively "silly players" while RVing?Empking wrote: I asked that (for the most part*) in order to see if I should judge his actions as those done by a silly player.

I think that's shown byu the fact that the person I called out for being silly is also the player in the game who has a "Cyanide generally has an anti-town meta too and a silly mannerism, from what I gather."*

Worthy of note.Deer wrote:I think Cyanide's whole OMGUS sandwich vote was still placed in the context of RVS - therefore, I don't find much scummy about it, to be honest.
Explain what you mean by "noteworthy."Empking wrote:Its uniqueness makes it noteworthy though.
Worth mentioning if there's a lack of serious points. Noticiable as something unique to that one player.Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Tiny compared to what? As far as I'm concerned I've been commenting exclusively on the most important issues.
It was serious (no vote) and it wasn't supported. I couldn't just say "I wasn't being aggressive."

I'm voting Jag. How is wanting to wagon Jag random?
Which players have contributed more than me?
What posts did I defend myself in?
What's "throwing suspicions around"?

Why didn't you answer my first question?
What discussion was going on when I made that post? (So what discussion would I have cut short.) How does a wagon automatically lead to cutting the day short?Red Star wrote:
As in the act of trying to get everyone to wagon Jag, thus ending discussion and cutting the day short, is random. Not that you suggest that a random person is voted.Empking wrote:I'm voting Jag. How is wanting to wagon Jag random?
So a minority of players? So if a majority of players (including yourself) have contributed less than me, it seems weird that I'm the persons who's too few contributions are voteworthy.
VibeBox, RealityFan, yabbaguy.Empking wrote:Which players have contributed more than me?
The majority of your posts have been either defensive, pointing fingers over minor things and rather not actually trying to figure out who is scum.
That explains why I started the suspicion on Yabba who had the largest wagon yet seen in the game.
What players have I expressed suspicion of?You seem to be thinking that everybody in the game is scum, instead of everybody having the possibility of being scum.
So 23% of posts having some degree of defense is overdefensive?
Post 8, 9, 10, 12, 17. About 23% of your posts.Empking wrote:What posts did I defend myself in?
I'd like a quote to go with eight. [/quote]
Quotes for all of those please.
As in, you've been accusing people over fairly minor and trivial things (eg: a non-serious vote in RVS, changing votes in RVS to prevent possible bandwagons, saying only scum think too much about the game, not voting and not wagoning somebody) which don't seem to be that worthy of note. However, you have help generate discussion from the reactions of people from these accusations, so their not entirely useless.Empking wrote:What's "throwing suspicions around"?Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-
