I voted for Stef because I don't like when people say "there's no reason to do something. Ever." And then vote on those sort of preconceived absolutes- they create an environment in which discussion of the material is discouraged, which I feel like usually helps the Scum. As I understood it, we thrived on robust discussion, and one of the few absolutes I'll brook is that longer days help the Town.

That said, I'm starting to grow leery of Katsuki. I thought voting him for the "angry child" comment was silly, but his defense has been severely wanting, and I really don't like how he's trying to shift the discussion to deadjoker. However, I can't tell if this is a scumtell, or just someone playing some bad Mafia- but I'm not ready to push him to L-2 yet.

I'm with pman, I once believed Katsuki's defense to be weak, I take no issue with his more recent posts and responses to the cross examination by Empking. And defense of someone looking down the barrel of charges that could be interpreted as silly isn't a scumtell either.

I'm kind of unclear as to what constitutes a chainsaw defense here though.

As far as pman is concerned, these aren't blind defenses of Katsuki, they're based on a fairly reasonable assumption that the cupcake posts could be a feeble attempt at humor, and as far as defense of others is concerned, it's valid if you actually are getting town reads from someone. This is especially true if you're in an environment where people are already talking about policy lynches by the third page.

If you had bothered to do something other than count posts, you'd have realized I was on the chopping block for much of that first day, and had to mount a rather active defense of myself. I'm lurking? They almost had to prompt you for a prod before you started on with your asinine pinging.

Maybe I'm just not very good at this game, but I'm not seeing anything particularly scummy from people other than Unsight and Me=Weird, iand obviously Zodiark- but I'll withhold judgment until the replacement rears his head. I went through pman's posts, didn't really see anything that stood out, I don't think there's much inherently scummy about his defense of Katsuki, or much else.

Katsuki's done very little scumhunting, but I think that's more due to being on the chopping block than anything else. And I'm getting town reads from Soundwish and horrordude.

Really Hrezs, you're making a case on me based on diction? I use scummy and anti-town interchangeably. I can just use scummy from now on, if it will suit your stupid syntactical demands. The fact that I believed me= to be working off a foregone conclusion was a thought on my part, I just don't like taking up walls of text to say the same thing. And I don't just go after people who ask me questions, I voted for me= weird, and I'm still voting for me= long before he started his equally asinine case against me. Also, I did explain my vote- I thought he was working off of a foregone conclusion, and I didn't like talking about a policy lynch on the third page. I wasn't the first person to say it, but that doesn't mean its any more or less anti-town than anyone else's votes.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. I voted for unsight because she did no scumhunting o her own, and was just pinging people. I thought it was anti-town. I'm not voting her because I think me= weird is much more scummy. (He's scummy because he talks about policy lynching on the first page- just clairfying, I know you have short term memory problems).

That said, I don't think you're scum, like I said- I'm not very good at this game and my playing has been sporadic. I apologize, and I plan on being more active.

I still think me= is scum, mostly because of his talk of a policy lynch, a fair amount of nothing posts don't help either. Also, his constant excuses are beginning to wear on me, if he's so busy and tired, he should just replace out.

I think unsight is being antitown because she has some serious tunnel vision problems- largely based on what Stef said, I'd post them, but then you'd accuse me of parroting.
