The first part is aimed at you. The "I would like you to explain" is aimed at Reck. Sorry for the confusion though, I see I was somewhat wrong.

By "interesting" do you mean scummy?

Anyways, though, I do want to know why Reck is pushing the wagon so hard.

Ok. Well, something tells me I took this game waaay too seriously to start. I thought everyone else was somewhat doing the same. Guess not, my apologies.

Anyways, Jackalope is looking worse and worse - he's saying things like:
JackALope2323 wrote: 1. People need to stop lurking.

2. When people stop lurking, they need to make posts that do two things:
A. Make sense
B. Have actual content

3. People need to stop being asshats and fake claiming and post flooding and all this other bullcrap they're pulling. All it's doing is confusing the town, which is not good for the town in the slightest bit imaginable.

(Although, I'm still somewhat convinced town is the minority, and we're all fighting against several scum factions who, collectively, out number us. I think our only hope might be to play them off against each other.)
JackALope2323 wrote: 90% of us are either lurking, making posts that have minimal content, or just plain being asshats.
Basically criticizing the town and acting like he's Mr. Pro-Town Leader. Posts like that insinuate that he's town, which is something I never like people coming out and saying.

No. I'm voting him because he's insinuating he's pro-town in his posts and tries to "rally up the town" by criticizing them, but his actions and scumhunting efforts aren't those of a particularly pro-town player.

That's not my job. My job is to find scum and lynch them. I can't find a single post of yours that shows you actually looking for scum. Trying to get other players participating is an easy way to make yourself look pro-town without scumhunting. Who is your top scum read and why?

@Deer, is that all you have to say about it when you pulled up a quote intentionally
The quote was an example of him getting mad at the town for not playing well enough. I found that scummy because, as you and I both said, there's very little scumhunting coming directly from him. What else is there to say?

JackALope2323 wrote: @ Deer, please tell me how they're NOT active lurking.

They BARELY make any posts, and the posts they DO make have little to no useful content. It's either asshattery, spam, or agreeing with somebody else.

THAT IS THE VERY DEFINITION OF ACTIVE LURKING.

Christ.
Crypto and Reck and Chrono "barely make any posts?" That's strange, because Crypto has 54 posts, Reck has 29 posts (as much as you) and Chrono has 24, not a whole lot less. Fate has 19 - not a lot, but definitely more than other players in the game.

Their content is useful enough. Why would you not focus on someone like Lowell, lukepukeduke, animorph, or SpyreX, who have low post counts? Seems like you're picking out the players with the shortest post lengths - an easy target. People who post like that often look like they aren't contributing, but I don't think it's a huge deal.

Oh. More scummy posts by Jack. My vote stays.

Also, I find it strange that Merk keeps talking about SpyreX's "alliance" in almost every post. Like he's eager to be considered town and wants to remind everyone that he is. Something's off about that.

I (amished) saw it win a bastard game (with ani's shooting) essentially on it's own. I'm going to go with it as that game was the easiest win I've ever had cause I didn't do a damn thing that whole game (pretty much). I followed confirmed town-Spyre (reasoning behind the UA and meta behind the UA) that game and I'll follow him here while throwing out my own opinions (shattered and raj should die). I fully intend to follow and help Spyre here whether or not he decides to put me in the alliance. It frankly doesn't matter to me as I know how powerful it is and how good it is for the town.
That's not what I'm saying. In your game, you said yourself you followed "confirmed-town Spyre" - you realize here, Spyre is not confirmed town. If Spyre ends up being scum, we lose this game. That type of thinking is dangerous.

I've looked over dram, I've looked over SV, and I've realized that SV's play in other games I'm in with him (probably shouldn't discuss them, they're ongoing) is making me think this is just his natural playstyle. I'm fine with a dram lynch - worst case scenario, we lose an unhelpful townie.

unvote, vote: Dramonic

I'm not sure what SpyreX means by "BITE." Werewolf-tell? :D

In all seriousness, though, I like Spyre's killing list, although it's basically entirely comprised of lurkers. I gotta think there's at least one non-lurking scum in this game, and he's either Spyre or part of SpyreX's alliance.

Spyre, I know you've got a reputation as a funny player and you want to uphold that, but:

I just didn't want people thinking that your alliance was composed of all townies, since that's probably not true. Don't see how that's useless.

Yeah, I think a lot of those players are town.

If you want me to point specific fingers, there's you and Merk I'm iffy on. That being said, there's a whole lot better players to lynch in the days to come.

Merkabah wrote:(RAWR OTHER HEAD)

Also: anybody that says that Spyre is scum after he formally announced the alliance is FULL O' SHIT.

Let's think about how scum win: out-survive the town, and any other scum factions.

Becoming the leader of a large block of votes, as scum, paints a huge target on his back due to the other scum team (since we know that there's werewolves and vampires and maybe something else due to the theme announcement thread post thing). That would make him dead and hurting his scum team's chances for what, one lynch, maybe two, depending on night actions? ANTI-SCUM

Also, Spyre has made an alliance in several games so far (I've {Amished} been in one of those). His meta has him always ONLY doing this as town. One game as scum is never worth enough to throw out a huge OBVIOUS town-tell for yourself, especially since you're going to be town two to three times more often than scum (given standard 25-33% scum distribution or so). To go back on it just once throws away more games than it'd even possibly win you (one).

Anybody who's said that Spyre is or could be scum (or FoS'd him) or whatever should also go on our death list since only scum is afraid of a large block of townies voting together. Town can help said block and win with us and there's no reason to buck against it like so many has.

@Spyre: This point is one of the major reasons that I would oppose Deer becoming part of the alliance and why I'll help with a dram lynch since he hasn't done shit and knows that the alliance helps way more than it hurts.

ALSO: Vote hopping to suspects is NOT a scumtell, dram. Better luck next time.

VP and I will be talking over our vote again (hopefully tonight). I'm fully in support of a dram lynch; as much as I don't like making more people claim. Since Chrono is in the alliance, SV would be the obvious choice otherwise but we'll get back to you soon-ish.
WIFOM...alliance, alliance, alliance...more WIFOM. Thinking Spyre is confirmed town is dangerous thinking.

I'm not against the alliance, but I'm against Merk.

If spyrex is scum, he leads this alliance to an endgame where you guys eventually have to figure out who to lynch among yourselves. You're so sure that he's town (because he has "no motivation for doing this") that you let him win in LyLo. How do you not see how that situation is dangerous? How do you not see that situation as a possibility?

I don't think Spyre is scum and I like the alliance and the way they've voted so far. But, when it gets to endgame, it's dangerous to trust people like Spyre as confirmed town. That's all I'm trying to say.

Well, I just don't see how it's such a huge scumtell to be somewhat anti-alliance when it comes to endgame possibilites.

Somewhat called Merk flipping scum. He was waay too eager to be in the alliance.

Anyways, yeah. The dreams are intriguing. If dj's actually implies raj is scum, then we need to know what it was.

But yeah,

There's obviously more than one scumfaction here. That's what I gather from both KoC's description of the game beforehand and the kill choices (Nightson at least).

What else is there to say about the dream that says I'm innocent? It's true, but I didn't think I need to shout it out to the world. Also, why do you believe the dream that you had that said SV was innocent and not the one DJ had that said I was?

And you say Dry-fit's dream doesn't make sense? We don't know how the dreams work, honestly.
SpyreX wrote:Note: I'm not a werewolf and I haven't had any PM's that would insinuate that I've been bitten at this point which should have happened if this was a N1 dream.
Look. You've been caught, especially by someone who you say is one of the most pro-town people in the game (I agree with that too actually). You might as well give up now.

What's up with everyone saying dreams are only accurate 50% of the time? So far, they've been 100% right.

Also, @SpyreX:
SpyreX wrote:Really? Really? Yes, I am omgusing Deer in bizarro world where I've been all over his ass since the getgo.
This is blatantly false. You said:
SpyreX wrote:I absolutely can't make up my mind about Deer. He makes me itch in that bad way but it doesn't have the BITE I need.
Then, once I voiced my opinions against my alliance, you turned against me.

Your claim is a little too convenient, IMHO, especially with Dry-fit's dream.

But a Spyre lynch today both gives us input on the reliability of the dreams and hopefully, another lynched scum.

Kise's DNA business is...weird. He implies it's role-based, so I'm willing to believe it too for now. Either one of them can die today, but I'd prefer to see Spyre first.

And I like the new alliance.

So guys can you help me understand something?

N1: Two NKs (not counting ani)

N2: 0 NKs, but two poisonings

N3: 1 NK

So can the separate scumfactions (I assume werewolf/vampire) either choose to kill someone in the night or poison someone during the day? Does that mean we're getting a poisoning today?

And about Kise, I think I kind of believe him for now. I get the feeling he's somewhat honest. It seems way too ballsy to throw something like that out as scum knowing it'll lead to a townie lynch, but then again, he could be running some sort of crazy scam and I'm just getting played like a fiddle.

I also have a feeling the dreams are somewhat random, at least w/r/t the targets. But, they've been remarkably accurate. I'm not counting Kise's scene, but the dreams about SpyreX, ani, and myself were all true. I assume the others are too.
