I like the idea of earning points for placement. With 9 teams left, 1st team could be worth 8 points, 2nd worth 7, etc....last two teams worth zero and if you have the eliminated team on your list, that's no points for the episode. Something like that?

Oh...I didn't realize there wouldn't be any penalty for guessing FFs and Yields wrong -- I just thought there'd be no penalty for a guess if none were
used
that week.

So, if I had guessed the fictional Smiths as taking the Fast Forward this week and the Jones family actually did it, there would be no point penalty for guessing wrong?

Huh. I don't think I like that.

~whew~ Glad I wasn't the only one who was blindsided by that!

That father was driving me crazy -- going out of his way to blame "the driver" repeatedly and then, at the end of the show, saying that he tries to teach his son not to cast stones. And the mom saying "I'm the glue that will hold this family together" like they had a death in the family or something was so weird. If your family's so fragile that losing a game can tear you apart...you're probably in need of some serious counseling.

What's "this time"? Eastern Standard? And you're talking the day before it shows, right? Like 21 hours prior to showtime?

I love how Stasi was saying "it's kind of not fair that we know the area so well." :D

I'm guessing Jaguar noticed the same thing in the "next week" promos at the end of last week's show -- the fact that the elder Paolo boy had a green FF in his hand when he was talking about his fear of heights.

Didja, Jag?

So...you're only scoring the second leg? Interesting that I'm the only one who gets screwed out of points by having the first leg ignored...

1st Godlewski - 10
2nd Weaver - 6
3rd Linz - 4
4th Paolo - 2
5th Bransen - LAST

...since everyone had Bransens except for me. :?

Wow. Everyone's thinking Weavers are going home? I mean -- I HOPE they go home...I'm just afraid they're being edited to win.

And what the hell is up with having a yield on a non-elimination leg and then an obvious "bunch point" in the very NEXT leg? It's like they're
trying
to ruin this series.

I don't think anything should be scored this week as this wasn't a complete leg.

I do believe, however, that TAR slipped and gave us the identity of this leg's eliminated team at about the halfway mark tonight.
