Mini 988 - Small Town Mafia GAME OVER

For years you all have lived peacefully together in this small, secluded town. Until yesterday. You woke up to find the Tailor dead! He had been cut to pieces and then stitched back together. It caused quite a stir among the 13 of you. But it wasn't until this morning, when you awoke to find the candlestick maker (pumped full of wax and then burned alive) that you realize this is a serious problem. You all gather together at the idyllically placed fountain in the center of town and set to work on finding the mafia before you, too, are gruesomely dismembered.

Rules:

This is only a game. So play fair, be nice and have fun.

The game is divided into two phases: Day and Night. During the Day Phase, every player who is alive can post in this thread. Players can also vote during the day. The first player to receive a simple majority of the votes (n/2 +1) will be lynched. Everyone (including the soon-to-be-lynched player) can still talk during Twilight (the time between a majority of votes being reached and the time I post the death scene). After a player has been killed and their role has been revealed, the game moves into the Night Phase which will last for 48 hours, unless otherwise noted. The thread will be locked so no one can post in here during the Night Phase....except me. The mafia can talk during the Night Phase, but only in their quicktopic. (Be forewarned....at the end of the game I will link access to the quicktopic, so post in the quicktopic as if it were for all to see. Because it will be. Eventually.) The Mafia may also use their quicktopic during the confirmation stage at the beginning of the game.
Players with night actions must PM their choices to me within the 48 hour Night Phase. If you have a night action and decide not to use it, please PM me so I know. At the end of the Night Phase I will reveal the consequence of the night actions and the Game will move into Day again.

To vote, you must type "Vote: Lobstermania" in bold. If you change your vote during the same Day you must "Unvote" first. If a majority of the players "Vote: No Lynch" the game will move into Night with no deaths.

Dead players are allowed one "Bah" post with no game-related material.

You are expected to post at least once every 48 hours. Please PM me or post in thread if you will be V/LA (vacation/limited access) for more than two days. If you have not posted for more than 48 hours I will send you a prod. If you do not respond to the prod within 48 hours I will replace you. Three prods in one "in game" Day and I will replace you.

If/when you need to address me in thread, please use BOLD.

Please do not use RED or DARK RED. RED is my color and any player who uses it will be mod-killed.

No discussion of this game is allowed outside this thread with exception of the mafia. There is no discussion of any other game still in progress allowed in this thread. These are both Mod-killable offenses.

Please do NOT attempt to delete or edit your own posts even if you have modding powers in this forum.

The day started off immediately, with lots of yelling and finger pointing. Several people even pointed fingers at themselves. And then The Butterfly stepped forward and claimed to be one of the killers. However, moments later, retracted the words, claiming to have been possessed (or something). But it was too late. One by one the townspeople turned their eyes towards The Butterfly. And as the sun began to set, they all agreed: burn The Butterfly. A funeral pire was quickly assembled next to the graveyard, and The Butterfly's final screams brought on the night. Whether or not The Butterfly had multiple personalities we will never know. But what we do know is that the killers are operating with one less set of hands.

It was a (relatively) peaceful and relaxing night, not being sure if the night killer will strike again. Eventually the sun came up, and everyone gathered around the village fountain. Everyone except DavidParker. Being the village baker, what's left of the town rushes over to DavidParker's bakery. And there in the window is a stunning seven layer wedding cake. And on the very top (surround with fresh flowers and sprinkles) is DavidParker's severed head. With a bullet through it.
After finishing the cake (sans the head), everyone re-gathered at the fountain. Someone is still trying to exterminate you!

Coming down off the high from the previous day's lynch, everyone seemed confident in their arguments and their actions. The consensus seemed to be that Nachomamma8 was also responsible for the recent deaths in your tiny, secluded town. The pire was set up again, and everyone was excited. Everyone except Nachomamma8.
When the flames died down, there was nothing to be found among his belongings to actually incriminate him with.

The sun rose on the third morning and almost everyone gathered again at the town fountain. But where was 0x1de? You decided to search his house and workshop as a group. 0x1de had been the town carpenter, and (as was fitting with the gruesome murders going on) had been chopped up and then hammered and nailed back together into a nightstand. There was a bullet hole in the middle of 0x1de's forehead. With the population dwindling, the town hoped it would only increase their chances of finding the scum.

While it felt like a week, the third day actually went by pretty fast. The town was eager to lynch, but couldn't seem to settle on the right person. And the, as the sun reached the horizon, and day turned into dusk, Millar13 stepped forward and finally opened his mouth. The words that came out made no sense and reminded the townspeople of the way The Butterfly had acted before being lynched. So, up went the pire and down went Millar13.
Except, this time the crazy person was just crazy.

It is now Night Three. Blah blah blah 48 hours, blah blah PM me. You all know what I mean. Day Four will start by Tuesday, July 13 at 9:00am (PST).

Day four begins on an awkward note: only five people are at the fountain. Concerned looked around at the group and then lead the way to Cuetlachtli's barber shop. He was found (rather uncreatively) stabbed to death with his scissors. "How did you know?" everyone asked. He lead them out of the shop and around to the back. There was Super Smash Bros. Fan, dead, with a bullet hole in his forehead.
"I decided to go out on my own and kill some scum at night. I'm sorry about the first two, but Super Smash Bros. Fan would have killed them anyway. I knew he was the last killer, so I followed him out last night. By the time I got to Cuetlachtli, it was too late. But I was able to get Super Smash Bros. Fan in the end. Our troubles are finally over."
And Concerned was correct. The game is over!

This was my second game modding. And, overall, I think it went pretty well. My biggest frustration was the replacements. I really apologize for how long that took. And I was very unimpressed with Millar13's attitude, even before he replaced in. This may be in bad taste, but when he emailed about replacing in

want in...but would rather i had some sort of role rather than shiity VT Lol

So, I should have taken that as a dealbreaker. Sorry.
But, in light of those events I would like to thank everyone for playing! I learned a lot, and it was much easier than my last game.

The Night Actions were one of my favorite parts of this game! The reason the game seemed a little unbalanced towards the town is because I was counting on a few mis-kills by the vig. However, Super Smash Bros. Fan figured out what could have been an almost perfect strategy (which he documented quite well http://www.quicktopic.com/44/H/2PG9SEmaEvL39.
