Oh my dear lord.
ONE person speculating positively on this and you come out and post something like that. Of all the hair-brained things!

Why why why?

One positive, one implication.

Call me Dutch but I don't see what part of that post is an obvious joke.

However, if you will notice, my vote is on Kerplunk. I just mentioned I found CA's post odd.

So, your voting of me (Stoofer), seems a little bit contrived.

Commodore Amazing,
No I do not suppose I can really expect a third vote on a bandwagon to be viewed as "non scummy" by everybody. But that's beside the point.
I don't think vigilantes typically kill people on the first night... and which part do you think is a vigilante? The "riddled with bullets" or the "cut in half?" Sounds like scum and SK to me. I know you don't think it's a vigilante, Yosarian. I'm surprised other people are going after me.
The problem with that post lies in the fact that nowhere in the post do you explicitly say why you're voting me. No I don't expect an explanation for every vote but those kind of posts usually contain a vote and nothing else. In this post, you give an explanation about your previous post. You express surprise at other people "going after" you. And you vote me out of (in a way) the blue. I had just expressed my concern over one of your posts. I was not even "going after" you.
I am now.

unvote: Kerplunk ; vote: Commodore Amazing.

It might not make him scm but from where I'm sitting, a decent day one lynch. Or at the very least, someone to push for a claim.

And as far as the bulb's post quoted by Stoofer goes, well - you have a better idea for doing stuff on day one? We use what we get.

Too hard? I'm hardly trying. :|
CoolBot wrote:The reason CA's post is so scummy is it's the sort of post someone with knowledge about the kill would post. Why even bring up the possiblity of a vig, unless he wants the town to begin considering it? He's either trying to hide his connection to Coron's death under the cover of a vig, or trying to indicate he's a vig. Vig's don't usually go around announcing themselves, so I think it's the former.
The even bigger assumption is that there is at all a vig. Since no vig would announce themselves day one, this could loosely fit the criteria for fishing. Anyone vehemently denying/opposing a vig kill becomes suspect for scum.

Who (if anyone) has "assumed that there is a vig" or "vehemently denyied/opposed a vig kill"?
I meant -

Saying that 'surely a vig did not kill Coron' (loosely paraphrased) is an assumption that there is a vig in the setup. Even more so, when followed by 'no vig would announce themselves'.
As I see it - Scum might say something like that I indicated above.
A vig is dangerous to scum. Upon seeing a statement like that, an actual vig, if in the setup might be tempted to deny/oppose the likelihood of a vig (from their point of view, being themselves) killing night one.
Perceptive scum might pick up on this denial which could be a vig tell.
Therefore, this is fishing.

Give me a break stoofer.
Speculating about a vig outright killing (or rather, not killing) is neutral?

A neutral comment in this case would've been no comment at all.

It seems I will have to re-read to get my thoughts in order.
Bear with me.

As far as Fritzler's role goes, it's amusing that you would assume everyone with a night choice crosses your bridge. Isn't it likely that one killing party is in one village and the other in the second? I assume this bridge connects the villages. Polarboy probably went to his death. I did not kill him.
In this sense, I think we just got lucky with yesterday's lynch. CA's posting and his lie were what caught him.

FD had a similar role in Minas Tirith. He could watch one of seven gates and was only told who passed through those. Also, several people were situated in various levels of the city...

I will require about a couple more days to get up to scratch. Sorry.
Can we have a vote count?

See, that's slightly off for me.
Why would you kill someone night one?
I've seen you play. Surely, you're more sensible than that?

We're in Italy, yet I'm assuming spaghetti points at scumbags because they're more stereotypically Italian than fisherfolk?

You actually trust kerplunk's claim? And then have him choose?
Now that's interesting.

Why him? Why wouldn't you just come out with info? After all, you're the most trusted of people, having caught us scum, having helped lynch the don. Kerplunk's contribution has been sketchy.

I only forgot a choice night one and you already said i didn't cross the bridge that night. However, forgetting a choice is irrelevant with me.
I will go on further only after I've heard from massive.

Depends on the mod's availabilty now, doesn't it?
Take it up with him.

I got a response though.
I'm Lucia Camminata, an insomniac from Astuto.
I can get to visit someone's house or if I don't turn in a choice, I wander.

I did not make a choice night one.
I chose to visit Fritzler night two.
Night three, I went to Fishbulb.
Last night, I went to the Stoofer Cafe.

All except night three, I got a message saying "too quiet"
Night three was - "what kind of person cuts someone in half"

There you have it.

Kerplunk - let's wait for Fritz.
Your contribution here has been nothing short of flippant.

Kerplunk, go look it up at dictionary.com

Fritzler, I live in Astuto.
In post 291, you have me marked in Umore.

I visited you night two and stoofer on night four. Stoofer does live in Umore...so yeah, I must've crossed.

Night 2, Polarboy and I crossed your bridge. He lived in Umore, I live in Astuto. If we were in different places, pray tell how I killed him?
If Kerplunk is an sk (which I haven't ruled out) he has an additional power, which shows up on my bridge (hell, it may even be the masonry, I made a sk and mafia masons once), and his kills don't show up on my bridge.
Can you clarify that?

I'll be voting Kerplunk soon for just sitting back after the claim here. Like I said, flippant. He voted CA but affter a little petulance about the bandwagonning and working off the same sort of logic I had against CA, albeit I didn't vote. From past experience, I can say, it's easier to spot scum as SK so forgive me if I don't give much merit to your helping lynch CA.
That coupled with your previous action Fritz, if you're SK, you deserve to win.

This is getting drawn out and painful. I'm about to vote Kerplunk.
I'm going on Fritzler's early performance and Kerplunk's seeming contentment to sit back and wait for a vote. Sure, he claimed today but nothing really productive has come out of it.

Were you told, Kerplunk, that you were looking for the mafioso's daughter?
What was that supposed to achieve? You'd think she'd tell you all the names? What was supposed to happen? Reeks of traitor to me.

In any case, since Fritz helped catch scum, even if he is evil SK, I'd be OK giving the win to him.

~24h and I vote Kerplunk. Hopefully, both will have responded till then.

I've either had an epiphany or I'm the world's most prized ass and Kerplunk has had the epiphany.
Actually, I know I'm the world's most prized ass, it's very possible Kerplunk had an epiphany and even more possible that I'm going to display my prized disposition again.
